To be clear, it is not top dog, but worth going out of your way to eat there. Buffet always has shrimp PERFECTLY COOKED every time we go (and we go frequently) It is a working person's buffet so you will dine with construction workers, lawn people, and regular folk. They have the same offerings every day and have perfected making each dish. Must be boring for the chefs but wonderful for the diners. The only thing that needs improvement is the Hot & Sour soup. It lacks some spice and has too much thickener. Egg Foo Young and all the standard Chinese American dishes are done well. Also has To Go containers. The broth for the Won Ton soup is so good and "healing" we use it as our go to cold medicine. The staff rarely smile but are the same ones who are always there, at any hour on any day. They do their job, they just have no joy in doing it. Closed Tuesdays. Kitchen staff work fast to replace food on the buffet. Great hard, hand scoop ice cream. Watermelon is flavorful. Main dishes consistently good. Try it. Price is reasonable. Considering what most restaurants charge now days, the price is EXCELLLENT which is why we can go on our fixed budget and why so many working people eat there.

Lucious Maine lobster, graced with yummy drawn butter on a soft, moist, toasted roll that could have been made just for this experience! Oh, had a lettuce bed to make it a healthy green salad, too. Opted for the cup, really almost a bowl, of their delicious New England Clam Chowder, the white, thick and creamy kind loaded with clams! They actually have the Original New England Clam Chowder crackers, too! Oh, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention their Jazzy's original Calamari appetizer, we enjoyed it when we ate there 5-6 years ago with our daughter, and it was still really good, though I remember a larger portion. They have done extensive renovations since then that look marvelous. Courteny was our server and she was great, very attentive and friendly. The fried shrimp and onion ring basket Cheryl had was plentiful, hot, and excellent, glad she shared! If you're visiting Cocoa Beach anytime soon, and have an urge for some great seafood, including Maine Lobster, Jazzy's the place to go!

Instead of serving the sauce on the side, they toss the calamari in it, and wow... that made all the difference. It stayed crispy while soaking up the flavor, and it was easily one of the best calamari appetizers I've ever had. The New England clam chowder was another surprise favorite. It tasted like the perfect cross between traditional clam chowder and loaded baked potato soup. It was rich, creamy, hearty, packed with flavor, and served piping hot. I had to stop myself from ordering another bowl to go. If we lived here, I absolutely would have. We both ordered the Connecticut style lobster roll. It was good, but not my favorite, especially since I've had lobster rolls in Connecticut. The addition of lettuce was unexpected for a Connecticut style roll, and I wasn't a fan of the extra crunch it added. It also didn't come with drawn butter, which I've always considered a staple of this style of sandwich. Instead, it was an additional $0.50. At $33 for the sandwich, I expected the butter to be included. That said, the lobster itself was fresh, and the sandwich was still enjoyable, just not exactly what I was anticipating. Everything arrived fresh and hot. The service was outstanding. Our server, Courtney, was incredibly attentive, friendly, and quick to make sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling intrusive. If you're in Cocoa Beach and looking for fresh seafood in a casual, laid back atmosphere, this place is definitely worth a visit. I'll absolutely be back, and next time the calamari and clam chowder are nonnegotiable!
