0 stars. Very, very, very upsetting experience. We have a vacant place needs to be cleaned for rental. We called this company to clean the bathrooms. The cleaner came over and wiped the counter top and floor that has layer of dirt on them, then WASH THE DIRTY CLOTH IN THE TUB!! now the tub is completed clogged. We didn't realize that until 1 week later we have tenant come to sign the lease. The drain was working perfectly before because we always use hair catcher and never wash dirty cloth in it. We tried the drano, the water shows tons for dust bunnies in it, no hair. When the cleaner was there, I heard they flush my toilet like once per couple minutes, I was wondering why was that, now totally make sense, they were flushing all the trash into the toilet drain and tub drain!!!!! We called the company to explain the issue, 1. They asked for a photo and we sent, no response 2. We called back, and they refuse to admit it was their responsibility and give all sort of the excuses, e.g. it has been 7 days, although the place was vacant the entire time, or, they are rules that they don't allow cleaner to wash cloth in the tub. 3. They are not even willing to offer help to checkout or cover any of the plumbing cost The most crazy and dishonest part is: they claimed that the tub was already clogged before they started to clean!!!!! The office communicates well, confirming the time window the day and cancels occasionally but not enough to be concerning. Will randomly not show up to a scheduled cleaning without any warning or notice, can't reach anybody live on the weekends, are routinely late to the agreed upon window, or will only show up with a portion of the workforce requested and thus require a lot more time to finish the job. HORRIBLE experience, this service is a scam. I am currently in the process of reporting them for consumer fraud. I explicitly arranged to pay in cash -- $210 total with tip. They then proceeded to still charge my credit card so that I ended up paying more than twice the price that I was supposed to. It has now been a week since I flagged this mistake to them. They were supposed to send me a check as reimbursement for the extra money I paid by the end of last week and I have yet to hear back or have my phone calls answered. Very disappointed. NoSpot left our brand new stainless steel stove and hood range all scratched up. It's clear that the cleaners used an abrasive cleaning pad and carelessly scrubbed a surface that (1) didn't need to and (2) very haphazardly. I held off reviewing this service for several months because I didn't want to post a poor review in anger. We had moved into a new house and it needed a thorough clean. A full-day with the cleaning team was booked. The cleaners arrived much later than scheduled, and as a result they had to come back, and they ran out of time to clean the downstairs windows which they had earlier offered to do. They also refused to clean the upstairs bathroom because there had been some broken glass in there - although we had already swept this up. This seemed over cautious to me; what are we supposed to do, call in a hazmat team? The job that they did was so-so. I was still finding many unclean surfaces after they left. My and my roommate have used this service twice (reason below), and were underwhelmed once and felt cheated the other. Be aware they try to bait you on pricing saying it's $30/hour, but really it's $30/person/hour. So if they have two people cleaning your house for two hours, it's a total of $120, not $60...they try to hide this until it's time to pay. The first time they cleaned our house they were supposed to send a 2-person team. However, one wasn't able to make it so this one woman was tasked with cleaning the whole house. She didn't stay the full time, which resulted in basically half the place being cleaned since it was just one person for what should have been the full two person time. We complained to NoSpot about this, and they offered us a free hour of cleaning to make up for it. Time goes by and we decide to use the free hour to have the house cleaned. This time two people show up to do a 2-hour cleaning of the house (1 for free). However, when it was done we were told they'd actually worked a total of 4 hours (2 hours x 2 people) so the total was twice what we were lead to believe it was. On top of this, in the full two hours they basically just cleaned the kitchen (not well) and bathroom between two people. We really felt like we'd been baited once again into a service that delivered far less than it promised, and was dubious in their pricing. When we complained, they offered to come clean again but not on the weekends even though we said that was the only time we're ever available (seemed like a hallow offer). We had our old house keepers for over 12 years. We thought we had the best. Do to some unforeseen issues, we had to let them go. After hiring NoSpot we now realize we didn't have the best. I called and set up an appointment for someone to come out and give me a estimate to clean my home for Friday, March 11th between 6-7 pm. Friday 7:00pm no call no show!! I called the office and left a message that I had been stood up Friday night and received a return message on Saturday that the person had an emergency and was so caught up in the emergency that she forgot to call me. Ok. So I called Monday to set up another appointment which was set for today March 16th between 6-7 and guess what they no called no showed AGAIN!!! Grrrrrrr! Nina is so sweet and coordinated perfectly. I got an initial deep cleaning done. They were very thorough, meticulous and I loved that the crew was so happy and lovely to work all through out. I got my entire home and kitchen deep clean, with so many cabinets ! Deep cleaning included windows, shades and everything you can think of. I loved how flexible and accommodating they are. Do not hire. Maids left house because they felt threatened due to airsoft (toy) guns in my office. Actual guns are in my garage in a locked safe. People that did my walk through didn't mention it would be a concern, people that did the initial call and estimate didn't mention any policy of the sort. After reading the mixed reviews I decided the good outweighed the bad and to give NoSpot a try. We just moved into our apartment and my boyfriend has been having crazy allergies, so we decided we needed to hire some professionals. We hired NoSpot for a Deep Cleaning service for 1.5 hours ($100) for my small 2 bedroom, 800 square feet apartment. After doing so I'd say that I'm pleased with the service but definitely not Wow'd. Pros: -Customer Service: I contacted NoSpot and the next day we had an appointment. They were very responsive. Also, the two maids (one male, one female) arrived right on time. -they made my bathtub sparkle -they made my refrigerator sparkle -they made my kitchen sink sparkle Cons: -most everything else was meh -I asked them to make the floors a priority, carpeted and tiled: This didn't happen. I essentially had to re-mop the tiled floor, it was still slightly sticky -Window sills weren't cleaned at all :( Overall attention to detail wasn't really there. They started great in terms of quality and punctuality but went downhill after. Ever changing crews, not adhering to checklist and cutting corners became the norm. There was also a day when the crew demanded additional money than what was agreed to. Cherry on top was being hounded by the owner for not paying our invoice from February and threatening to take us to collections. Wierd given that they kept serving us for five months without a question and we always paid the day of. They have terrible records of who paid what and it is a sheer mess. I was looking for a regular cleaning so I hired 2 cleaners for 2 hours, the rate was for this was $120, I left the house and returned after 2 and a half hours and the cleaners were still cleaning and not finished, ended up costing me over $180. The cleaners also used the phone and were stopping to talk often during the time I was home. After I contacted customer service 3 weeks ago they promised to send a cheque to refund the extra hour, this never arrived. I contacted customer service again and they promised to paypal it, still nothing, so far I have contacted customer service several times over several weeks and all I get is promises. It's been a few years since I've had a regular housecleaner. My prior housecleaner moved away, and life just hasn't been the same. I've tried a few, over the years and was generally disappointed with the results, opting to just clean it on my own. After hearing about NoSpot (and needing a really good cleaning...just because I do it myself, doesn't mean I do it well!), I decided to give them a try. Setting an appointment was easy, and they showed up right as scheduled (actually a few minutes early). The team of 2 spent 2+ hours in my two bedroom flat. They did a fabulous job, getting into every nook and cranny. The place looked fabulous when they left. After the cleaning, I received a courtesy email from their Customer Service Manager, Joaquin to check in and make sure I was satisfied. Nice touch. I definitely recommend NoSpot, and plan to continue using them. Next time, I think I'll see if they do carpet cleaning too, and save me from having to rent a carpet steamer from Safeway. I was recommended this cleaning service through thumbtack, booked them once and they required we do a deep cleaning. Price was $150 for the deep cleaning.This was May. We have a monthly house cleaner who charges us only $100, but this month we had to go with someone different. They only clean the communal areas in our house, living room, kitchen and 2 bathrooms. That is all. Did a decent job, same as our other normal cleaners.Then the on going monthly price was going to be $125. We went back to our normal cleaner, because they are cheaper. Anyways, Sept rolls around, and we need a different house cleaner again, I call no spot, naturally they "require" another deep cleaning, even though we have a monthly house cleaner. i sat here with the house cleaners the entire time, they were here a little over 2 hours, charged us for 3, and the price was now $180. I called and spoke with the manager, since I was quoted 30 an hour, but BE CAUTIOUS it says 30 per hour, per person, and they send 2 people, so really they are charging $60 an hour. Manager tried to negotiate with me, and charge me less for this service if I booked a regular service with them. Why on earth would I do that? This is bad business to have different prices all the time for the same services, same amount of space, and to have to be shocked when I get my invoice. I would love to be able to rate their cleaning services, however, I never got the chance. I scheduled an estimate with them for 3-4pm. No one showed up. I get it, stuff happens. I waited until 4pm to call just in case I was confused and the person was supposed to show up between 3pm and 4pm. The customer service representative was nice, assured me I was on the schedule and stated she would find out what was going on and call me back. She called back a few minutes later and stated the estimate specialist had been delayed and would it be okay if they came the following day at exactly 3pm. I was a little put off by the fact that no one had communicated anything with me until I called them but was willing to give them another chance. The next day, exactly the same thing happened. 3pm comes around, no one shows up. No communication from the company. I am usually a really accommodating person and totally understand people run late sometimes. But the complete lack of communication and unreliability is not acceptable. read more

They charged us for 3 hours of cleaning for $150. I was present during the cleaning and they were only there for 1.5 hours. Despite repeated attempts at clarifying the time discrepancy they demanded that we pay for twice the duration of the cleaning they actually performed. This business is terribly dishonest and not up front with pricing. It was lucky that I was around to verify their dishonest charging policies. The cleaning job was only acceptable as I left the workers to themselves. They later claimed it was a deep clean though the mop job they performed was pretty cosmetic and quick. Being able to coordinate with someone when you have special requests and also having online payments is really nice. My recommendation to folks that are just starting your relationship is to be very clear about the work you want done. Some things you would expect like emptying a dish washer won't get done unless you specifically ask. I assume this is because you might not have the same crew every week. It took us a month or so to figure out that we needed to tell them regularly about a few tasks. Once we did that, we are getting exactly what we want. Overall, I would go for it and discount some of the negative reviews. Worst experience I have ever had with a vendor. Not joking. Move out cleaning. New tenants moving in tomorrow. These cleaners told us they'd be there between 2-3 and likely close to 2pm. My 37 weeks pregnant wife waited at the apartment for them. 3:15 and no cleaners. It was WE who had to call and find out they were going to be an hour late, which was essentially 2 hours late. They apologized but all we care about is letting us know. How can you be that oblivious and rude? Then the carpet cleaners arrive. Tell us the cleaners can't use the stairs to clean the apartment once they clean the carpet. But the cleaners are no where to be found. Awesome. My wife is upset, which is completely understandable due to inconsiderate cleaners. So when they show up, instead of apologizing they were laughing about it. The scheduler on the phone was at least trying to help but the cleaners were idiots and not sorry at all. Then they actually leave and don't clean at all. Why? Be chase my wife was 'upset and yelling'. Well maybe if they spoke English (which none of them did) they would know she was not yelling but raised her voice to be heard over the surface train running by outside. Complete. Idiots. The manager failed to find another crew to do the work. Offered us a free cleaning in the future. Wtf? We needed it now. Not next month. Ridiculous. As if we'd use you ever again.
