Assorted packs of Nothing Bundt Cakes for our dessert table

The Nothing Bundt Cakes for our wedding were delicious!! Thank you so much to your bakers. We were able to easily place a pick-up order in advance from Orange County for our wedding. They were a fan-favorite and made our wedding dessert table perfect.

These cakes are moist, just the right amount of sweetness!!! I kept seeing this place while taking my Mom to the doctor and finally was able to stop in and try the bakery. Upon entry there were hand sanitizer stations; no one working wore a mask. We took home three bundt cakes; strawberry, butter pecan and lemon. The strawberry was good. The butter pecan tasted like a cinnamon roll; it was REALLY good, no pecans in it though. The lemon was light and refreshing.

So happy I discovered this place in Corte Madera! The first time I had their cake was at a Nordstrom event and I got so curious about where I could buy more from. Luckily, a good friend of mine took me to the Corte Madera location and I was so in love! What a cute little place that decorated nicely. They also offered some samples as well. I bought a couple and regretted that I didn't buy more! Great for picking up stuff for parties and they have a lot of cute stuff for kids (and even for adults!)

Bundt cake. Probably the most boring type of cake out there? I mean...what's so special about it? It's called a bundt cake cause it's baked in a bundt pan. Right??? Wrong. Nothing bundt cake has bundt cake done right. I've been here twice now...keep in mind I do not live in the area...but whenever we are out by corte madera...I think about this place and make the effort to stop by. Our first trip...we tried the lemon raspberry. This is a seasonal flavor...super moist, lemony flavorful, loved the raspberry, and the icing was spot on. Today, we bought 3. Haha. We picked up lemon, red velvet, and cinnamon swirl. For $.50 extra, you can request extra frosting. Do it! So worth it. The lemon and cinnamon swirl were super delish...very moist...BUT, the red velvet was a disappointment. It was pretty flavorless minus the chocolate chips...I really wanted to like it...but I just couldn't. Sigh. So I recommend avoiding that flavor and just go with lemon. Can't ever go wrong with the lemon!!! So the trick is you've gotta leave the bundt cake out for a few to bring it down to room temp...don't eat it straight from the fridge. The moistness completely depends on that. They've got pretty cool gift ideas...and I believe the guy behind the counter said that they deliver. I'm a converted super super fan of bundt cake! Yum!!!

My boss decided to leave us for a better opportunity amongst other food we celebrated with Nothing Bundt Cakes. It was a bitter sweet celebration. Not the cakes being bitter sweet but his leaving us. We could probably say we loved him. Greatest boss ever. Now as far as these little cupcake Bundt cakes we were eating... oh my. I always say I'm on a diet but I took one look at the beautiful array in the box and was tempted. They looked moist and creamy how could I not just try one?! So I grabbed the lemon flavor and in two bites it was gone and I became mad. WHO ate all the lemon ones?!!! The lemon ones.. I want more!!! Like the Cookie Monster ... I want lemon! The lemon is gone! Me no happy! My boss seemed to get nervous explaining who ate the lemon ones. Then I realized he didn't have to explain anything to me and I was acting ridiculous. I looked in the box at the other flavors. Some were labeled FF ... I said, does anyone know what in the world is FF flavor? My boss came over and so kindly explained that FF means featured flavor of the month. Oh ok.. it looked like carrot cake or pumpkin? Whatever mystery flavor it was... IT WAS GOOD! I looked in the box again hmmm I decided to try the red velvet. I'm not a red velvet fan but eh it was good. So I ate three cupcakes and there goes my diet AGAIN. Do yourself a favor and ruin your diet on these scrumptious little Bundt cakes!

The place is clean, with plenty of seating both inside and outside, and there is a large selection of pastries, scones, breads, and grab-and-go items. My go-to has been the ham and cheese croissant, which was fresh both mornings. The coffee was also nice and hot, which I always appreciate. The staff is professional and efficient, though clearly busy, so do not expect a lot of chit-chat. I also picked up a box of Cheese Coins, which turned out to be dangerous because I loved them and ate the whole box. Good coffee, fresh pastries, easy seating, and enough tempting extras to make you buy more than you planned. I will probably stop by again tomorrow morning before leaving the area.

It could have used a lot more filling. I did appreciate the salsa on the side that it came with, which was tomato-y, garlicky, and overall very flavorful. It took around half an hour for me and 4 of my friends to get our orders, which was frustrating because we were on the go. Definitely a very busy spot! The place is a grab-and-go establishment where you order at the cashier and grab your food once ready (or they'll bring it out to you if dining in). I loved the outdoor seating on a sunny day but all the tables were unfortunately taken when we were there. The inside also has a couple of seats and refreshing cucumber water was offered.

The Castro location is beautiful with its clean, ocean-blue French decor and relaxing, cozy vibe. It is always busy on the weekend, but the quality makes it worth the wait. Everything I have tried there is top-notch, from the perfect croissants and lattes to the savory mushroom crepes, French onion soup, and grilled tuna sandwich. The Larkspur location in the Marin Country Mart has a slightly different, less urban feel that I really enjoy. It feels a bit more intimate, cozy and has a much bigger outside seating area. It seems to have an even wider selection of great entrees. Whether you are grabbing a quick salad or sitting down for a full meal, both locations offer an authentic French experience that is hard to beat. Highly recommended.

As I waited inside I admired their beautiful decor (especially that green wall!), and peeped all the equally-beautiful pastries on display. Oh la la! It took all my post-Thanksgiving self-control to resist a sweet treat (next time!). I satisfied my craving with a hot latte. I ordered and paid at the counter/register and was greeted with a lovely French accent. I assumed that my order would take awhile given the bustling crowd inside and outside. But it was ready within minutes - a hot, smooth latte hit the spot and powered me for the remaining drive north. Le Marais is easy to find at the far end of the Marin Country Mart - abundant parking is all around. Before I got back in the car, I took a quick walk through the shopping center. A must-stop if you're in the area, whether you need to shop, to eat, or to simply grab a drink. So charming and can't wait to return!

In that sense, it's a good clutch market for those items. The store itself is small but laid out well. I really like the produce that they have outside, it gives small town vibes. Where Nugget lacks is in customer service. I have yet to meet a friendly or happy looking employee. I feel like this is something I've noticed more lately. On my trip today, the man stocking the produce had his cart in the middle of the produce section, so there was really no way to get anything. I asked him if I could slip in and quickly grab a few things, and he made a really off putting comment about if I could see he was working, etc. Yikes. I've also been rung up before where the cashier just is on auto pilot, no hello, no small chit chat. Nugget, you carry things we like, and you're close to our home. Can you please give your employees some customer service training, or some reasons to feel joyful? TIA!
