I so wanted to like the place. I researched best bakeries in the area. I had a craving for a good cake or pastry and I'm new to the area so I made a special trip there. Basically the model for this store is to make a few different flavors w/super thick icing in their own single serving containers of moist and doughy tasting cake and well....that's it. Their bundt cakes are really yummy and I do recommend those. However their customer service is horrible!!! I called to pick up my order through curbside. The lady was very rude. I told them I was here for my order, the lady asked if my name was "name" I said yes. And she said ok. And hung up. I was going to call back because I was confused. How cute are these little bundts?!? The sample for today was carrot cake and when they informed me that there weren't any walnuts in the cake, I was sold. So moist. Literally the BEST carrot cake I've ever had. I don't care much for nuts in desserts. It messes up the texture. These people definitely know what they're doing. So many great flavor cakes. People choose to eat these? I am a huge fan of baked goods, and I don't mean to sound pretentious, but really, people? 4 1/2 stars? Have you had good cake before? These are HOOORRRRIIIIBBBBLLLLEE. I've had them a few times, and while they ARE moist and flavorful, the flavor is not the kind of flavor I look for. They are very similar in flavor and texture to pound cakes from Safeway. I'm not going to give it one star because I know some people buy and enjoy cakes from the bakery section of supermarkets, so I realize this could be a good thing to some people. I have been baking and enjoying cakes for years, but these cakes are so processed and disgusting. Take a bite and it goes to mush before you even start chewing. A friend got me a white chocolate raspberry cake from here once, and Nothing Bundt Cakes made the mistake of putting the ingredients on the packaging. It was like a paragraph long and included (drum roll please) ARTIFICIAL raspberry flavoring. Really? This is only upsetting because the place seems to want people to think that they are a high-quality cake vendor. Their website says that they use real eggs, butter, and cream cheese, but they don't tell you all the other ingredients that they add in along with those. If you want a delicious cake, here are some other options in the area: Victoria Pastry Co., Rulli, Comforts (although you only have a few options for flavors, they are delicious), Sweet Things... Even other franchises like Susie Cakes and Champagne bakery have much higher quality products. Are little bundt cakes cute? Yes. Is it a good idea? Yes. Does this place pull it off? If you've never had bundt cake you really have to try the cakes from Nothing Bundt Cake! Super moist cakes and delicious frosting! They're so good that I might even go so far as to say that bundt cake is the new cupcake :p They have many flavors to choose from, but there are only a few flavors that they for sure have in store each day. I believe those flavors are chocolate chip, red velvet, and lemon. If you're set on a certain flavor make sure to call ahead, and if they don't have it you can order it and prepay over the phone. They have mini sizes called bundlets that come in the same flavors as the regular-sized bundt cakes. There seem to be more flavors of the minis than the regular-sized cakes in store but you can call ahead anyway just to make sure they have the flavor you want. I've had their lemon and white chocolate. I'm a white chocolate kind of girl so I prefer that one over the lemon but both are very, very good! Customer service is outstanding! Helpful, attentive, friendly, polite - almost a little too perfect I would say :p But you can't go wrong with great customer service to go with delicious cakes. Price is on the higher side - around $20 just for the cake itself, and more when you add on decorations. However, totally worth it as a once in awhile splurge or special occasion :) read more

Nothing Bundt Cakes has a cute little shop. They offer various flavors of Bundt cakes. I have been here twice. Both times to get a gift for my co-worker, & both times leaving with a free check in Bundt for babe and I to split! The two offerings I have tried were good not great. They are very sugary and sweet. All of them are also rich and quite moist, with a sweet icing. For my tastebuds this place is too sweet. Although I do like that they offer mini bundts as they make adorable sweet gifts. I also like that on both occasions samples were offered of different flavors! The price is fair, I believe I paid 4 bucks for a mini. I most likely won't be back, but for those with a real sweet tooth this could be your place. Things to consider: 1. All flavors are very sweet 2. Parking really sucks at this center sometimes 3. Staff have always been warm and nice 4. They really only sell bundts here, if your looking for a full fledged bakery - look elsewhere! read more

I phone ordered a birthday cake for my daughter's 17th birthday to pick up on 6/24/2015 at the end of the work day and they forgot to include a blue balloon I added and was charged for. I know it's just a balloon but the principle is that I didn't get what I fully ordered and had to go to go out of my way to go get another helium balloon. I didn't realize it was missing until I was already on the freeway and stuck in traffic and no way to come back. I called to let them know and to my surprise all I got was an apology but no offer for a refund for the balloon. I was very disappointed and frustrated. read more

What a charming little store. The minute you walk in the door, the staff seems genuinely happy to see you. The stores decor and displays are an immediate draw and "THEN", you see the little and Big Bundt cakes in the display case. My eyes lit up like a Cats in the dark and I thought, oh my, which one shall I choose. First having a sample of the Chocolate Chocolate Chip, that was #1, then the Lemon and next the Red Velvet. Rich, moist, oodles of frosting and just like homemade. Mini cakes are perfect Birthday Cakes for one. The Baby Bundits are also really cute and perfect for a special occasion. Disappointed with gluey texture, bland flavor Sorry to write a negative, because the staff is warm and nice, but I feel I should warn others. Ordered the lemon bundt cake for a shower. So not good, I felt I could not serve it for a special occasion and found another cake at a different bakery. The lemon flavor was barely there. The texture was gluey, and there was a coating on the tongue sensation in a not good way. They say they use real butter, but honestly it did not taste iike it. It had that cheap bakery flavor, unfortunately. I actually have my doubts about all those 5 star reviews--unbelievable, because the really fine bakeries --like Sweet Things, Susie Cakes, Flour + Water--in Marin do not score like that. I have been buying and savoring their luscious bundts since Nothing Bundt Cakes (NBC) opened in Corte Madera (same plaza as Book Passages and Any Mountain) several years ago. My favorite is the Red Velvet Bundt though the Chocolate Chocolate Chip Bundt is up there on my list. The cakes are consistently moist, flavorful and topped off with generous amounts of mouth-watering white icing. Best enjoyed with a tall glass of cold milk. The perfect dessert to serve at any occasion, and especially during the holidays. Not only do they taste wonderful, but they look exquisite on your serving table. A real crowd pleaser. Very friendly staff, store is hidden away in this strip-mall (Market Place), kitty corner to Brick & Bottle. My wife ordered an assortment of 18 for a dinner party. Best.Bundt.Cakes....Ever. Tried most of the flavors; Red Velvet, Marble, White-White Choc, Choc, Carrot Red Velvet and Marble are my faves. Regardless, each flavor that I've tried has been super moist. The bundlets are the perfect size, they're like the new cupcakes. They have the right amount of icing and the perfect amount of sweet. Love how you can customize a little note too (like a bouquet of flowers) The customer service at this location was top notch. I picked up some bundlets for the hubby for VDay and the girl who assisted me was absolutely helpful, friendly, quick and just awesome. The only thing is....I WISH THEY MADE MORE FLAVORS!!!!!!! Like a banana or coffee or blueberry. Venture off as it was a cupcake. Regardless..... me and the hubby love these lil bundlets and will most definitely keep going back. OMG, their bundt cakes are super moist and the frostings are amazing!!! I am so glad I only got 2 mini bundt cakes otherwise I would have gained a bazillion pounds. They had the white chocolate raspberry available for sampling which was delicious. I took home the red velvet and the carrot cake flavors. I love this place! Have been meaning to pop in for months and finally did so last week - so glad I did; I've got a new favorite cake shop :-) We chose 3 small bundt cakes: Red velvet Lemon White chocolate and raspberry All were delicious, but the white chocolate and raspberry was a clear winner in my opinion. The red velvet was unusual in that it had chocolate chips in it (not necessarily a bad thing!) and the lemon wasn't too lemony, but wasn't all that special either. The shop is cute and there's usually samples to taste (we tried a very nice and moist pumpkin cake whilst we were there) and the staff are extremely friendly and patient. I will definitely be back! Honestly, I dream about Nothing Bundt Cakes. I come up with deals for myself on how I will allow myself to get one. I often think about the fact that the store is open till 7 and that I can still get there in time for dessert. It's that good. Here's the deal: I'm a girl who loves cake. LOVES it. And I have celiac disease. The gluten-free chocolate chip bundtlet is sooooo yummy. It's moist, it comes with cream cheese frosting, & I can eat it without a reaction. In a fortuitous turn of events, this little shop, with its irresistible cakes, is right next door to a fat-blasting clinic. Makes me laugh every time. But let us focus on the delectable treats in Nothing Bundt Cakes. You know how in some specialty sweets shops everything looks beautiful but tastes like cardboard topped with a sugar bow? This is not that place. Though these cakes are gorgeous and can be spruced up in all kinds of ways to make them wonderful to give as gifts or bring to a party, they are good old fashioned cakes like mom used to make: Spongy, moist, rich, and topped with the perfect amount of excellent frosting. They have hit upon a winning formula at this wonderful shop - and they also have excellent customer service. I was thrilled when I heard we were getting one of the these in Marin. I've had the pleasure of tasting these nummies in SoCal and am a fan. The bundtlets are perfect for sharing if you are not a total sweet hound. My sister offered these as wedding favors at her recent nuptuals and they were a huge hit! The Lemon and White Chocolate Raspberry are my favorites. The only thing that bums me out is that they don't sell the bundtinis individually. They could make a killing doing that around here. Moms would go in to buy a large cake for entertaining, and would walk out with a bundtini for each of their kids. I bought the bf a small cake from here for his birthday. I got their best seller the chocolate-chocolate chip because why go half way really? I'm gluten-free so I did not partake, but why should the bf have to suffer because of my allergies? The bf loved it! Often when I need a little coworker gift I will buy their bundt tower. It is three bundtlets with your choice of flavor) they wrap them in a see through package and you can pick a ribbon color and card and flower. It is a very nice little gift. You'd think just by looking at one of their bundt cakes with those thick streaks of icing on each one that they'd be goopy gross. But you'd be wrong. Pleasantly surprised that these cakes taste as delicious as they do. That icing is plentiful and fresh with no artificial anything. Gourmet hand-crafted goodness? Not so much. Homey, not overly-sweet, yummy cake good for a party of your non gourmet friends? Definitely. The lemon isn't too tart or sweet but always moist. Always. I hate that word. The sound of it. But these cakes ARE moist and not because they're loaded with artificial product to keep them that way. Cinnamon pecan not like grandma made but very good as well. Chocoholics will enjoy the chocolate cake with chocolate chips. Why no vanilla cake with chocolate chips? Don't know. I'll ask. I've not that kinda pull though so don't get your hopes up.
