Nothing Bundt Cakes is a franchise bakery specializing in handcrafted bundt cakes plus curated gifts and party supplies. Z loves their round, almost flower-like shaped confections so much that he has chosen to serve them at his birthday parties for the past consecutive few years. This Millbrae location is the closest Nothing Bundt Cakes branch to our house, so, naturally, this is our regular locale for ordering. Located on South El Camino in Millbrae, this bake shoppe does have a private lot. Never have I had any issues with finding parking here - the spaces at the front entrance have always been available. The charming store is small with no seating provisions, promoting a shop, grab and go concept. Plenty of cute cakery products and accessories for sale sprinkle the boutique like cupcake-themed décor. The space is always clean and brightly lit. Most of my orders I have placed via their website. Easy peasy, quick, and the prices are reasonable. Despite their popularity, I will admit that, initially, I wasn't a big fan of the cakes from here. It didn't help that one of the first birthday cakes I purchased wasn't thawed enough before serving which made the texture sticky and gummy. Still, my boy loved it and continued to request cakes from here. Finally, the most recent order that we picked up on September 6, 2025 changed my opinion. This Red Velvet BUNDT CAKE was super moist and perfect in texture. I was further impressed that the cake's quality never diminished, even days after pick-up. I finally understood the hype. Picking up at the store is just as seamless as placing orders online. The staff is friendly for the most part and the cakes are always ready to go at the specified pick-up times. Only once did I find an error, when they forgot the "Happy Birthday" banner on a BUNDT CAKE. A minor slip-up, but a major overlook for the occasion. Nevertheless, we will likely continue to order Z's birthday cakes from here. We will just need to make sure to always check the orders very carefully before leaving the premises. read more

When I entered with my granddaughter no one was at the front of the store. The server came from behind shortly after we entered and said hello. I was excited to take my granddaughter for her first trip to NBC and was disappointed. The flavors were not fully stocked. The featured flavor was not in the case but I was offered one that just needed to be iced. There was no mention of the fact that it was ice cold and the filling was frozen. I have been offered a free Bundtlette cake in the past for the item not being ready but there's no generosity at this location. My granddaughter received a confetti's and I opted to try the strawberry cheesecake. I was so excited to try it but was super disappointed that it was tasting super sweet strawberry purée and not any cheesecake flavored at all. The staff member went to the back (even though plenty were on display) and handed me one already bagged. I said, "Oh, that's nice, thank you," not realizing it was to hide a defective product. This is a little shop that one of my friends told me about and that I should go to, so I decided to go and check it out! It was a nice little shop, with lots of little and big cakes on display! Me and my friends all got one, with me getting a Lemon one! I was very pleased with the taste of these little things! So today is my husband's birthday we had a last minute change of plans which left me with no cake. I called nothing Bundt cake to ask if they had any small chocolate cakes left. They did and they were open for another 18 minutes. I said I'm coming!!!! My daughter and I raced over there, and I let her out of my car with my cc while I looked for parking. I actually found parking quickly but I see my sad daughter coming towards me with no cake. It's closed she said. I went over to the door and this lady comes out like sorry we close at 6:30. I have been picking up bundtinis , mini bundts and their Bundt cakes for many years. It is usually easy to place an online order and pick up later. I've even used them to set up delivery for friends on special occasions. I am disappointed that in the last week they refused to make bundtinis. I could not order them online and when I called was told they temporarily stopped making them until after the holidays. What a shame. read more

The young girl working at the front brought me a badly defrosted bundt cake. It was frozen and I asked her to reheat again. She was annoyed with the request. I also asked that one not have any frosting. She looked annoyed with that request too. I've loved Nothing Bundt Cakes for a long time. I love that they come up with a new flavor of the month. The bundlet is $6 and that's what I usually get, although I noticed they're getting smaller and there's more space in the container now. The bundtinis are $28 for a dozen which is pretty expensive considering they're a two-bite treat. These are more just for special occasions. I was very disappointed when I came in to buy a mini bundt cake today 10/7 and the doors were locked and lights were turned off. Online hours say the store is open until 6:30, I got there at 6:20. Yummy cakes, but odd experience. I rushed over after work to get to the shop by closing time to get a birthday cake for a friend. I arrived at the store at 5:50pm when the store hours said 6pm closure and the store associates inside already had the door locked but the light was still on in the back. When I looked inside I saw a male associate with glasses peering over the kitchen swinging doors to the front and he didn't come out. A girl associate inside clearly saw me as she was putting a tarp over the refrigerated case and just went back into the kitchen. Another customer was outside confused too as why it's closed early when there were two workers inside. My all-time favorite flavor at Nothing Bundt Cakes is the Confetti cake! I had to grab a 10inch cake for my birthday celebration. I decided to just pop into this location to grab a cake the day before. They had lots of cakes ready in the case. I almost considered the thin icing option but decided I didn't need to splurge the extra $10 on it. Another customer was here ordering lots of Bundtinis and I heard they can prepare them for her in ~15-20 minutes. Complete and total wreck of a company store. I ordered a dessert cake and mini bundt cakes a full week before Christmas for a gift delivery within 2 miles of the store on Christmas Eve. I did this on line, paid for it, got a confirmation and assumed all would be well. I confirmed with the recipient that they would be there during the delivery time and they made sure to be home all afternoon and evening for the delivery. Not only did it not arrive but they did not call the recipient, nor I to let us know that it did not go through. What an unbelievable and unethical act! had the recipient not alerted me - I would have been out of over $120 and they would have scammed me out of my money. I called them and was informed that they would only offer the cakes if we would pick them up - I live 500 miles away. The Manager never, offered to make it right and just run it over to the house (2 miles from their store) - she simply wanted out and actually refunded the money before I even called her to see if she could still rectify the situation. I am appalled that she could not have cared less and if she is the owner as well, then shame on her, if she is an employee then she should be reprimanded. I came here to get my birthday treat (a free bundlet) and was really hoping they would still have a chocolate chocolate chip in stock as well as a lemon for my husband.
