The staff are so helpful and pleasant. I was able to find three cards for friends and family plus get myself one of the new s'mores Bundt cakes. The icing is more cream cheese, less marshmallow in flavor, but still really good. Parking is plentiful. Definitely worth the stop if you're in the area read more

Nothing Bundt Cakes is the best bakery! Not only are their cakes delicious, their service is unparalleled! They have the friendliest staff who cares to explain whatever questions you have about the cakes, give you recommendations and make your visit the sweetest part of your day. I love their seasonal flavors; the banana pudding, Reese's peanut butter, new marble cake.. Picked up my birthday bundtlet today and the cashier there was friendly and helpful. As with all of the Nothing Bundt Cake locations, it was small and quaint, but cute with many flavor options. What I love bout 'em is every location is consistent with its service, ambiance, and cakes. Such a perfect little treat that's ready to give to someone to make their day. For those that don't know, if you sign up for their rewards, you can get a free bundtlet during the month of your birthday too! 'Ain't NOTHING like the real thing baby...' song by Marvin Gaye was playing in my head when I saw this store: Nothing Bundt Cakes Disclosure, I've never tried Nothing Bundt Cakes so I was reluctant but curious. Never tried it because my aunt and cousins who baked Bundt cakes from scratch, using lots of the ingredients from their garden: fruits, nuts and eggs...always tasted so devine, so it set the standards high. Plenty of free parking in the lot and steps away from the shop. The shop was clean, organized and everything looked appealing. Upon entry, Gisele cordially greeted Me and Fendi and was so helpful answering all my questions. I was concerned whether the cakes would be too sweet and sugary. Gisele was so informative; that the icing is made with cream cheese and not so sweet. The cakes are all made fresh on premises. No vegan, but there were a couple of Gluten Free flavors. I was willing to try and wanted to try a few flavors: chocolate chocolate chip, lemon and white chocolate raspberry all in the Bundtlet smaller size cakes. These cakes are available in various sizes. Everything appeared to be prepackaged so no touching the Bundts cakes. I would have preferred the Bundtini which is the absolute smallest size, but is only sold by the dozen and neither Fendi or I can finish one Bundtlet, let alone a dozen Bundtinis, oh No...lol After tasting each flavor of the Bundlets, I must say it would be a Truce, I liked all three flavors of cakes, which were moist, not greasy, not oily, and not too sweet. But not so much the icing which was still too sweet for my liking but perhaps not for you! What I really liked the most was the very helpful, pleasant and lovely Gisele, her excellent service, had such a positive impression to compel Me to write this review awarding 5 stars, well deserved Nothing Bundt. I have been to a few different locations of Nothing Bundt Cakes though the years, but this is the location I go to most often. I have had service issues at some locations (in that may order wasn't ready when it was supposed to be), but I haven't had any problems at this location. Nothing Bundt Cakes doesn't have fancy cakes, just several flavors of bundt cakes. However, they are always moist and delicious. I have learned that they are a huge crowd pleaser for any party or or work gathering. The mini bundt cakes make for a great small gift, and the larger ones are great for a group. I also like how they have seasonal flavors. I look forward to the annual addition of pumpkin spice. One other thing I enjoy about this shop, is that they have adorable cards and gifts. Whenever I go in to pick up a cake, I seem to find a card, kitchen towel, coffee cup, or wine glass that makes a perfect gift for a friend. I have to be careful not to spend too much money, but I am happy to find these great gifts. One thing I'm not terribly fond of are the decorations for the cakes. The cakes can be purchased with greeting signs, flowers or little decorations, but in my opinion, they are never quite as beautiful as a traditional frosted cake. That said, it is a great place to go to pick up some sweets or gifts for that next birthday or potluck. read more

This place is a cake land wonder! Ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday here and it was so delicious. They have the fresh summer flavors out like lemon raspberry, (which is seasonal) and go-to favorites like white chocolate raspberry. You can design your own cake online, including flags and frosting styles. It's super easy! Just pick the time you want to pick it up and they will have it ready for you all wrapped up with ribbons. read more

I went here to pick up mini Bundt Cakes for my husband and his two friends birthday dinner tonight. It's actually my first time ordering from this place! Clarify, I've had their bunt cakes hundreds of times but I never actually ordered them myself. The lady was super nice and informative, letting me know all the different options I can order. For immediate pickup you can select from their customers' signature dozen or their seasonal. It only takes 10 to 15 minutes to custom pick the mini Bundt Cakes you want. Honestly I want less decisions, so I went with a customer signature dozen: which is there 4 most popular flavors. Overall had a fast and positive experience! So I decided to get dessert after my feast at Phil's bbq and I saw the Nothing but Bunt cakes sign . So I walked in and was greeted by a really friendly girl named Sade that said welcome with a smile . We talked a little bit about the display case & the ambiance there . These cakes are freakin awesome! I've had 2 so far. I bought one a few days ago for a birthday. The staff were extremely helpful. The cake was soft and the frosting, which I think is cream cheese was ridiculously yummy. The only knock are those sparkling number candles. Super hard to light and when you do, the burn out before you can light the second number. Other than that, love this place. read more

Such a delightful experience at this location, Courtney H. was friendly, knowledgeable and had great customer service. I thought they were out of Oreo cookies and cream but she had them ready to replenish the shelves. The ambiance was cute and sweet. I went today on April 10th, 2026 for my free birthday bundt. I couldn't decide on what flavor to get and I was asking the cashier, Ana K. about the flavors. She recommended Oreo or Chocolate but since the banana vanilla pudding was available only for a limited time, she also told me that one was good too. I got the banana vanilla and it is so delicious! I stopped off after work at the Midway/Point Loma location, looking for just a simple single NBC to commemorate a super special occassion. I didn't tell the staff what I was there for, I just knew I wanted the Gluten Free Lemon Raspberry. It is UNBELIEVEABLY EPIC, take my word for it - or better yet - try it next time you're there. I went up to the register to pay for it and Yazmine (or was it Yessica? Yasmine or Yessica, I'm sorry I don't remember!) placed it in a cute little bag and said "This one is on the house, free of charge today." I about started crying right in front of her, she didn't know what/how much it meant!! I am OBSESSED with their Lemon Raspberry cake, so I will be spreading their good name to anyone who will listen, that needs a birthday cake or cupcakes, go to the Midway/Point Loma location of Nothing Bundt Cake. You will NOT regret it, I promise. And to that sweet cashier - that Friday was my dead friends birthday, so I was trying to do something to honor him and a NBC seemed appropriate. It's all about the Bundt Cakes with a shout-out to the Bundlets and Bundtinis. The Bundt Cakes come in 8" and 10" diameters of soft moist cake with delicious cream cheese frostings. The Bundtlets are what they call personal-sized cakes, just as tasty and scrumptious as their bigger cousins. And the Bundtinis are on the cupcake end of the scale. It's a beautiful little shop in a large shopping square. Easy access and parking which is rare in this area. Inside, everything is displayed and arraigned with excellent attention to detail. Along with the cakes, they also sell candles and balloons, so make it an event. They also do cake decorating if that's something you're looking for. Oh, let's take cake flavors: Red Velvet, Chocolate Chocolate Chip, White Chocolate Raspberry, Lemon (my favorite), Strawberries and Cream, Snickerdoodle, Confetti, Carrot and Classic Vanilla (another favorite). read more

MOIST AND DELICIOUS I am a super fan of this chain and will never turn down a bite into a Bundt Cake. Never. The Bundt can come in all sizes (large, medium, small, and mini). Minis are ordered in bulk but the rest can be ordered individually. Minis are my favorite because you can mix and match the flavors. But I don't get sick of Bundt cakes and having one large cake of the same flavor is great too. I like all the flavors almost equally but my favorite would probably be the White Chocolate Raspberry. They are refrigerated but even when refrigerated they are still so moist and fluffy. That cake is the perfect kind of cake and we all know cake is never executed the same anywhere. Stopped in to get a couple bundlets for my birthday. I knew exactly what I wanted so I was in and out in a few minutes. The person helping me was very friendly. I asked for a punch card, and she happily gave it to me. I got strawberries & cream and my husband got vanilla. The cake was moist and has the perfect amount of icing. I really can't eat too many sweets, so I didn't eat this in one sitting and it still tasted great the next day. My husband had no problem finishing his. Ample parking at noon on a weekday. read more

Established in 1997.

To find the perfect recipe, you first need the perfect ingredients. And that's what our founders Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz were for each other. In 1997, they joined forces, or better yet kitchens, to help make cakes to entertain their friends. The cakes they made were delicious, unlike anything anyone had tasted. As a result, their friends and family asked them to entertain more and more. They quickly realized this side project of theirs could be something more. There was a gap in the world for delicious cakes, readily available, that didn't compromise on their ingredients. They offer $7 draft beers, $9 wine, $10 mimosas, plus a handful of bites for $9. We started with the Fried Calamari Tentacles from the US Hour menu. They're served with Japanese mayo, although it tasted like there was some citrus mixed in because it had a nice tangy kick. Whatever it was, it worked really well with the crispy calamari. To drink, I ordered the Yuzu Matcha Mimosa. It had a really vibrant green color that almost reminded me of green juice. I actually enjoyed it. The matcha flavor came through without getting lost. My friend wasn't the biggest fan because they thought it leaned a little too bitter, so I think this one depends on how much you already enjoy matcha. For my entree, I ordered the Duck and Waffles ($24), which comes with crispy duck confit, a waffle, passionfruit guava sauce, and chili crunch. This was easily the highlight of the meal. The duck was cooked perfectly. It was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and seasoned just enough to let the meat shine. I also appreciated that the chili crunch actually had some heat instead of just being there for texture. The waffle was light and fluffy. I'm a sucker for sweet and savory combinations, so the powdered sugar paired with the rich duck was enough to win me over. The passionfruit guava sauce was the only part I wasn't completely sold on. It wasn't bad by any means. I just think it's one of those flavors that comes down to personal preference. We had the Beignets (5 for $12) to share, and I ordered the Curry Hamburg ($20), a Black Sesame Latte ($7) w/ a shot of Matcha (+$2), and a Matcha Yuzu Mimosa ($13) for myself. The beignets, perfectly shared between the 5 of us, were a bit too dense and possessed a weirdly hard outer crust. The matcha cream and black sesame mascarpone serving as dips made them a little more enjoyable. The black sesame latte was deliciously nutty, but the matcha shot at the $2 up charge was exorbitant. (Note: This is their only caffeine addition -- along with hojicha -- as they do not have an espresso machine). I was very disappointed in the Curry Hamburg, unfortunately. This was a failed attempt at omurice. The egg, while plentiful, was not even seasoned. Further, the equally unseasoned hamburger patty was very dry and the sauce over-salty. They should have distributed the salt and seasoning throughout the dish because it lacked serious balance. They just added beer and mimosas, so the Matcha Yuzu Mimosa, though overkill with the Matcha (and likely wasted), did ease the ache some. I made reservations online via OpenTable where I had to put a credit card down and agree to the seemingly shady policy regarding party changes within a 24 hour period. We were seated immediately, but they gave us a table with some weird wooden fold-up chairs. Our table was strangely the only one with these uncomfortable chairs. It was also excessively loud and we almost didn't learn the name of our server, who, by the way, was PHENOMENAL despite some of the disappointment with the food! Thank you (Mick) Jagger for taking care of us and getting our food out to us so quickly!

The front-person was pleasant and accommodating. But teamwork is what makes the dream a reality. Let's start off by entering the front door, and hear happy employees singing, and working in the back. After a few minutes an acknowledgment from the back. They told us their front counter register and monitor in front was not working. Their online app works and the back computer works to receive orders. We did not have an app. We stood there trying to download the app. Finally connected and made the order. Then back to waiting..... Finally received our order. One dozen cookies for a party and two peanut butter cookies for us. All of that took about an hour. Overall, I'm not sure about this location. I understand things break. We did not get an apology for lost time. No thank you for waiting. No hello, just a shout out the system was down. If it wasn't for the kids wanting these cookies, we would've went over to Arely's French Bakery around the corner. We just got, "here's your order"! No apologies or a thank you. Maybe these employees are under stress or need more training. For the amount of money these cookies are being charged, I believe a thank you is in order. I hate writing negative reviews. I apologize for that.

It was creamy and super flavorful. Then I had the Twix bars. Wow!!! Each bite was somehow better than the one before it--it was incredible. I can't wait to order more treats from Candra. It's obviously she loves what she does, and she's extremely talented. Her prices are very reasonable, and her creations are delicious.

She's been in business for decades and always uses her artistic talent in her baking. This is a must for anyone that wants gourmet desserts at an affordable price! She does caterings, barmitzvas, Weddings, birthdays, quinceañeras, and casual events regardless of who you are! If you have a strong respect for good food I would strongly suggest going here. The location is pretty good as well, walking distance from downtown, and driving distance from all over San Diego/ cornado. Enjoy

OMG, can't tell you how happy I am to have discovered this stand!!…read more 1) Most courteous owner, who knows his products and cares about his customers! (some of you might be wondering why I say that he knows his products, since he should -as the owner, but you'd be surprised how many people I've met that aren't knowledgeable about what they sell) 2) I LOVE CARBS, but it doesn't love me back, so more often than not...I'm on KETO. This stand makes a great crust on their pies & quiches....BUT more importantly, he's got KETO QUICHE (crustless)(not displayed, but in a cooler, so make sure you ask for it) 3) Ordinarily, I LOVE SUGAR. Period. However, I practically never eat pie these days unless it's A LA MODE, and it usually becomes icky sweet with vanilla Häagen-Dazs on top...here's where CJ's pies win all around: Pies were very low in sugar, which made them perfect for my elderly parents, and me accessorizing with a whole pint of ice cream, LOL. Side note: you can freeze the quiches and pies, then defrost in the fridge for a day before reviving in the oven for about 20 minutes on 300°F. Considering this is a stand at the OB Farmers Market on Wednesdays, I'm surprised how many items he lugs in -but then again, it sells fast.
