My husband and I got married on the 20th of December in a small ceremony to save money for a larger reception next year. We didn't plan on getting a cake bc we had such a tight budget, but my mom wanted us to have something to freeze for our anniversary so she ordered us a cake from here to surprise us and make our day a little more special. She ordered over the phone and then needed to make a change so she called back to change the writing on the cake. She asked the guy who she spoke to if she needed to email the information over and he said no and that he had it covered. My mom decided to email the information over anyway just to be safe. This was 1 month before the wedding. The day of, my dad picked it up, he didn't know what it was supposed to look like, but mentioned it didn't look great to my mom later when we arrived to the venue. When she opened the box it wasn't even close to what she ordered. Not even before she made the changes. We asked specifically for our last name in black writing and a certain font which they said they could do. We received an all white cake without our last name and the writing was not straight nor the font we requested. It almost looked like they forgot about us and went to the grocery store really quick. At this point it was too late to do anything and we were all leaving town for the holidays the next day so we left it in the box at dinner, skipped the cake cutting together and just took it home. We decided we would come talk to them after Christmas. We had a few bites out of it, but ended up throwing it away because it just wasn't very good anyway and by the time we got to talk to an employee, it would have been bad. Dec 26th my mom went in to see if we could have it remade so we could freeze it for our anniversary or refunded. The owner had the most disrespectful attitude saying between "ALL of the calls and emails" he couldn't keep up, and it was her fault. Mind you the cake wasn't even close to her original order either... He said he would refund her if we brought the original cake in (a week later). He kept trying to make her feel stupid with snide comments... Thankfully she stood her ground and didn't accept anything less than a full refund which he eventually gave her after arguing with her and making her cry, saying we should just be thankful they even made it in the first place because they normally don't even do things for "as cheap as $50" As she was walking out he said to her "If they still have the cake you should try it because it's really good..." as I mentioned before we threw it away because it was not very good... The whole experience was just very disheartening. We had heard such good things and maybe this was a one off situation, but we have a reception planned for over 200 people next year and we will absolutely not be ordering from here again. We are also in the event community and won't be sending recommendations here any longer after our personal experience. Making a mistake is one thing. Things happen especially around the holidays, but to push blame and verbally insult another person as a business owner is another. We are incredibly disappointed. And 5 cookies lol 1 buttercream, 2 cookies & cream, 1 chocolate chip & 1 white chocolate macadamia. The buttercream cookie was really good and didn't crumble all over the place like a shortbread cookie usually does- I'm not sure if that's what type of cookie it was but it reminded me of one. The cookies & cream cookie was delicious and my son quickly devoured the white chocolate chip macadamia cookie. I'm sure what I have left will be just as good. Chocolate crinkle cookie, peanut butter and Nutella, lemon tart, banana cream, swizzle sugar, and chocolate chip cookies were all purchased today. Also, pina colada smoothie, mango smoothie, Arnold Palmer, Dr. Knieval, and Stop Staring soda! All delicious! Everyone was so excited that it was reopened. When we walked in, we were not greeted nor acknowledged or spoken to the entire time we were there until our name was called out when our order was ready. Customer service was non-existent. Ambiance-wise, there were a few people standing around waiting for their orders but it didn't seem too busy. There is a drive-thru as well. I quickly scanned around for an "order here" sign and noticed they had a couple of ordering kiosks in the corner. Placing our order was easy and self explanatory and so was the payment process. I wanted to try the Mile High Lemon Pie in a large but they only had it as a mini. So I ordered a trio of minis: lemon, chocolate tart cookie, and chocolate fudge brownie. Then we also got a quad of large cookies: Halloween confetti milkshake cookie, semi-sweet chocolate chunk, and Martha Stewart chocolate chip cookie thins x2. The mini lemon pie was delish--fluffy, light, and creamy. Crust was crust and had a good cook. I enjoyed it vs some places that try and get fancy by adding all kinds of things to the crust, for example I see coconut a lot in crusts nowadays. I'm not a fan. It's basically like a birthday cake cookie with a whole lotta sprinkles (see pic) and vanilla frosting topping. If you pair it with some cold milk, it's yum and cuts some of the sweetness. Lastly, the Martha Stewart chocolate chip cookie thins are the kind of cookies you can keep eating one after another. Thin, crispy, yet slightly chewy and the sea salt (or maybe coarse salt?) sprinkles tied it all together perfectly. I can't speak on the semi-sweet chocolate chunk because it was my friend's and he ate it lol. I enjoy Crumbl when I want something really sweet and they never fail at that. I like their variety of cookies and how they rotate flavors. There's always something new to try when I visit. Crumbl Cookies is 4 stars, but today's customer service was a 2. Looking forward to seeing what different cookies they'll offer in the upcoming weeks.

While I waited the owner offered samples, all of which were delish and made me realize I will need to come back soon to try their drinks!
