Whenever I'm in Sequim this is my first choice stop for dinner. I love the concept of this restaraunt and it is a warm comfortable environment. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the food is excellent. This last time in, I had the lamb burger and I loved the flavors so much I didnt want to suly the experience by eating dessert right away! My boyfriend is a vegetarian who hates most vegetables so finding something he likes on any menu can be a challenge. But the black bean and beet burger is a hit that he raves about, so hooray for a beet burger. read more

Disorganized and untrustworthy. We called ahead to confirm the patio was dog friendly and see if they could seat us. The person who answered the phone said there was no wait and to come on in. When we arrived five minutes later, the hostess turned us away. She said they were only taking people with reservations and the wait would be at least half an hour. All but one of the outdoor tables was empty, with less than an hour left before closing. Because they told us they could seat us over the phone, we had gone there instead of another restaurant, and the delay made it too late to go back to the other spot. This place is amazing. Stopped here on a whim (saw the carrot sign on the freeway) on the way to Port Angeles, and I will drive up again just to eat here! Vegan, vegetarian and meat options, with everything local and seasonal. The burger came with mustard greens and pickled veg because that was what was in season - no lettuce or tomato here! I also can't believe everything is gluten-free. The one downside to that is if you're not GF, some of their breads are a bit crumbly and difficult to eat, but they are packed with flavor. Unfortunately I was too full for dessert but that's all the more reason to go back on an empty stomach! We found this gem while on vacation from the east coast. Everything about the experience was amazing. The food was simply amazing. It was fresh, carefully prepared and just delicious! The service was amazing - super friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. I had a farmhouse margarita - carrot juice, lime and chili salt - amazing! The surrounding gardens are beautiful and it's wonderful to see so much of the produce is grown right there. The flowers were beautiful. This is a must do. Don't miss this restaurant! read more

I love this place. I will return and return again until I leave Sequim. I'm only sorry I didn't discover it years ago. If you want huge American portions overflowing your plate and dripping with fat - don't go here. If you want healthy portions of fresh food where each bite bursts with flavor, this is your place. The soups have been heavenly; even the herb teas are delicious. The owners and staff are welcoming and attentive. They even have an order out meal program. Where do I start? Food was amazing: it's all locally sourced and very fresh. I love how they have something for everyone! They have dairy-free, vegan, vegetarian options and it is all gluten-free! Me and my boyfriend always have a hard time finding a place where we can both eat good food since I have dietary restrictions and he does not. I love how there were options from the appetizers to the desserts for me and for him that we can both enjoy! And the guest experience was awesome too. Everyone there is so helpful and friendly. We got there at around 8 which is pretty late since they close at 8:30 but everyone there was still engaging with guests and making dessert suggestions like it was no problem! We love this place! It is the BEST restaurant on the Olympic Peninsula. Hand's down. And that's saying a lot because we are pretty loyal to numerous restaurants here. They have continually improved over the years to accommodate anyone's eating preferences. The food is to die for, consistent quality mixed with innovation. It's well executed and well done. And the service! let's talk about that. The waiters, in particular, Bob makes you feel like an old friend! His recommendations are spot on and he is a joy to talk to. A gem on the Olympic peninsula. On a restored homestead, it is a lovely setting. Everything is local, organic and gluten free. You won't miss the gluten. Everything is fabulous. It is my favorite restaurant. In general I would recommend reservations, but there is lovely waiting if you need to. Don't expect fast food, it's not. 2 people should plan at least 90 minutes for brunch/lunch, longer for dinner. But it is worth every minute and every penny. So delicious and nourishing. read more

They had great seasonal options and the menu is quite creative. I really appreciated the selection of local wine and cider. Screaming deals on bottles, and a lot of local producers are available. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and efficiency of the staff given COVID restrictions. Food was fantastic. Just wow. Excellent wine selection. This place is right up my alley. Farm to table quality food. Pretty impressive Lunch menu, and even had a children's Menu. Had the crab cakes, which were full of crab meat, great flavors; buttery and juicy. Had the duck salad special which was also very good. I would've liked the duck meat heated instead of being served cold. I think this would've helped bring out some flavor. The children's chicken tenders were perfect. The French fries should really not be called that, they are oven baked potato wedges. Our daughter did not want them because they didn't look like actual French fries (at home I slice up the potatoes to look like fries then bake them). Either call them something different or make them look more like fries. Staff were all very nice and inviting. The pace of the place reminds me more of a European restaurant, by which I mean it's slower and they dont rush you out the door. I'm sure if you're in a hurry they would accommodate if you mentioned it. The gardens surrounding the place were absolutely beautiful and the little children's nook was a very nice surprise. Overall loved this place and anytime we're in the area we will absolutely stop by. Last tip is the place could really use a good once over with some elbow grease and dusting. But it wasn't anything that caused me concern with the quality of the food. read more

What a wonderful place! I heard that it was vegan, which would have been fine, but it turns out they offer all kinds of great options for meat eaters too. I had a beautiful salad nicoise with wild Alaskan salmon and my husband had a great burger made with grass fed beef. Delicious. We sat outside on the patio and I felt like I was back in Northern California. The garden was lush and bees were buzzing around the lavender. Just the best!! The farm is hard to find if you aren't a local. It is on the other side of the highway in the right corner before the residential area. Took me more than 20 minutes of driving around Washington ave. What a great place to eat fresh local cuisine. I went on open mic night (Wednesday) and had a great time. The staff and patrons are very friendly, I ended up sharing my table with a couple regulars as they were pretty full for the music. I got the Artisan Beef Burger with a side salad. I looked like brie melted on the burger? Very flavorful with caramelized onions and fresh lettuce from the garden outside. House made blue cheese dressing on the salad, perfectly balanced. The entree was served in a metal tray/box, that made it a little tricky to handle the food inside. The Seasonal Fruit Crisp was a strawberry rhubarb with an oaty nutty topping. Good flavor and texture of the topping, but there were a few larger fibrous pieces of rhubarb. Also, it was supposed to have whipped cream, but didn't come out with it. The tables are made from pallets, so getting the right height for the table top meant not quite enough room for my legs to be under the table without hitting it. Not a huge deal, but my legs aren't that big and I couldn't cross my legs and sit close to the table. It was a nice touch to have small cloth towels in the bathroom, with a bucket for the used ones. In all, a unique and friendly place to get fresh delicious fare, just a few little things that weren't quite right. read more

They also have plenty of vegan options or they have sustainably raised meat etc. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly but the wait time is very long, but everything, including the salad dressing is made fresh!! The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the wait time, they were not busy and the wait was long and the vegan quesadilla need more flavor. I would totally go back!!! read more

Simply wonderful. I am so incredibly pleased to have stumbled across this delightful restaurant as we passed through Sequim. The gardens are beautiful and the menu is fresh, healthy, delicious foods which can be hard to find when on the road and horrible fast food options seem easier. Our toddler devoured his meal as did my husband and I. What a great find, hidden away amongst gorgeous gardens, in a beautiful part of the world. Will definitely come here again when next traveling to Olympic National Park. read more
