I visited Nourish Sushi tonight and had a bit of a mixed experience. We arrived around 5:30pm without a reservation, and even though there were only a couple of tables occupied, it initially felt like we might not be accommodated. I also noticed they gave the same message to everyone else who walked in without a reservation--that it might be difficult to seat them--yet they still ended up accommodating each party. It just came across a bit confusing and unnecessarily discouraging given how it was not entirely busy. Once seated, we were greeted fairly quickly with waters, and our server took our appetizer and drink order soon after. Service timing was a bit inconsistent--our appetizer took a while to come out, and the sushi took even longer after that. That said, the food itself was really flavorful. The rolls had bold, well-balanced flavors that didn't even need soy sauce, which I appreciated. My main critique would be the portioning inside the rolls, especially for the price. Some rolls felt underfilled, and a couple seemed to be missing ingredients (like tempura) and were mostly avocado. Overall, the flavors were great, but the service pacing and value for portion size could definitely be improved. read more

I took my daughter to nourish last night for her 8th birthday and it was the best experience! Not only was the food absolutely amazing , fish extremely fresh, the service was 10/10!! I've been on a major nigiri and sashimi kick lately, which has made me a bit more critical, and this spot just wasn't my favorite for those dishes. The service was excellent, and the staff were all so kind. My server recommended the sushi dinner, which came with a roll (went with spicy tuna--basic imo) and eight pieces of nigiri. It was a great deal for the price and I was absolutely stuffed afterward. But though I opted for the chef's choice nigiri, only one piece was particularly delicious (I think it was the hamachi); the rest just didn't stand out. I found myself eating the fish just to finish it because I didn't find much to savor. I also tried the truffle ponzu on the side, but it wasn't for me at all ($3). While the food didn't "wow" me like some of my recent sushi experiences, the overall vibe and the truly wonderful service made it a good visit. We obviously have some great restaurants at home, but nourish sushi is as good as I've ever eaten. Nabu is one of the hot spots in our area, and I believe that the sushi at nourish is far as superb. Just a friendly heads up if you plan to order on the phone and pick up from this establishment that they add 15% gratuity without a warning on the phone or on the menu online. I don't think I've ever had a automatic gratuity added to a pick up order in my whole entire life and this was the first lol. I usually tip accordingly and totally understand if you order through a delivery service of some sort like doordash you get dinged but adding 15% gratuity on top of inflation priced sushi, the simple task of bagging a to go order, and picking up yourself is absolute insanity. read more

Food is excellent, customer service, not so much my boyfriend and I were in last night for dinner sitting at the bar one of the staff members went to hand us our tray and knocked over the ceramic soy sauce container and spilled it all over my boyfriend and our meal. Now I know mistakes happen that wasn't the issue. The issue was the fact that they were very nonchalant about it and didn't offer to help us clean it up. They just gave us rags while my boyfriend was covered in soy sauce. the woman that did it did not apologize and just walked away, we aren't ones to ask for a discount or anything like that. It was just the fact that they were making jokes about it while he was literally drenched in soy sauce and had us cleaning it up..again I understand mistakes happen it was just the fact that they did not care at all to help or apologize When we left another staff member made a joke about how they did it on purpose but the joke was very condescending. Overall just very rude and poor customer service. We received no sympathy or help with the situation that was not our fault. I understand that it can get busy and you have many tables to provide for but if you break glass and soy sauce all over a customer at the very least you should offer to help and not have your customers wiping your floors while drenched in soy sauce. We do love this place but last nights experience was extremely unprofessional and straight up rude. The jokes walking out were passive aggressive and we were nothing but nice and understanding. I just can't wrap my head around making a huge mess all over my boyfriend and our dinner and then walking away for us to clean it up. We had to eat the food as is which was drenched in soy sauce. We asked for soda water to help get some of it off my boyfriends clothing but they couldn't do that without us buying a Pellegrino. Overall just disappointed. read more

We went there for our 51st anniversary dinner with my wife, all my kids,grandkids and great grandkids. We were met by Lacie with a big hug. The interior is very stylish and fits with the theme of the name. We all eleven of us pretty much ate every thing on our plate. It is a very family friendly and the kids had a great time because they were treated by Lacie as if they were family. The service was out of this world. She gets a ten out of ten. The tables were very comfortable and they moved the tables to match the number in a party. Parking is plentiful and easy to find.
