When I was complaining to a friend about my boiler making odd noises, they recommended that I give Now Heating and Air a call. I looked on Yelp and saw their positive reviews and decided to take advantage of their $29 Tune Up offer. I called and spoke with Lisa, who was extremely friendly and empathetic listening to my boiler concerns. She was able to schedule for someone to come to my house the next day. I was blown away when I received a phone call 20-minutes prior to the scheduled appointment time from Eric asking if he could bring me a coffee as he was stopping to grab one for himself on his way. Once Eric arrived (with my coffee!!), I was even more pleasantly surprised by the way that he professionally introduced himself and put on protective shoe covers before entering my home. Once inside, Eric spent about 20 minutes diagnosing my boiler before he determined the source of the problem. Eric provided me with a very thorough estimate on repairs to fix my boiler but also offered to show me the benefits of a newer higher-efficiency boiler. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient with my many questions, and truly took the time to clearly explain all of the options he had laid out for me. I decided to spend the money to repair my current boiler but I truly appreciated the fact that I did not feel like Eric was pressuring me one direction or another and that I did not feel like I was under a lot of pressure to purchase a new unit. I am so pleased with the level of service which I received and I will be calling Eric for all of my future HVAC needs. I am very much looking forward to the high-efficiency and quiet boiler Eric mentioned when it's time but am grateful that I was able to repair my current boiler and stay within my budget. The last thing you want in the middle of the night when it is 10 degrees outside is for your furnace to go out. With two small children, I needed to get someone out fast to get the heat back on.When I looked them up it showed that they were open 24/7, 7 days a week. Prior to reaching out to them, I called another company that did not answer, and sure enough when I called Now Heating & Air at 1 am, they picked up, so I was beyond happy that they could get someone out to us in less than two hours. When the technician came to the door, he was courteous, and did not seem at all bothered that he was up at that hour. He was professional looking and respected my home by putting on booties. Once he found the problem, keep in mind I know nothing about furnaces, he explained it so I understood what the problem was and how he would fix it, as well as the cost, which I was surprised at, because I expected it to be higher with them coming out in the middle of the night. He happened to have the parts that were needed already on his truck, and got the furnace up and running within an hour of arriving. My family is grateful for the response and effectiveness of the technician, as well as all the information he provided us with. He explained the benefits of a new system, as ours is old, along with the benefits of their service agreement that will have them coming out doing regular maintenance. We signed up for the agreement, but will further discuss a new system. So when the time comes to needing a new furnace, we will absolutely use them again. The tech Ben does quite a con job. He came out Saturday bc our AC wasn't turning on Friday. He was excellent at sharing a lot of detail about how everything worked, which initially seemed very helpful and straightforward. However, near the end I started getting suspicious. I had asked for the visit to be an assessment of whether or not the AC was broken; if so what needed to be repaired... Next thing I know he's telling me that the whole thing needs to be replaced! "It's builder grade, 9 years old, it's time." The thing is, this doesn't make any sense because the house is 13 years old, not 9, so this couldn't have been the original AC put in. He also made a point to show us the coil, telling us it was clogged and had never been cleaned, and then pointing out the rust on the coils. Two other techs informed us the coil rarely gets cleaned if ever (because the filter is all you need to change), and that rust is normal wear and tear and isn't of any concern until about 15 years in. At the end he gave us a whole spiel that the two options were to "clean the coil for $300 and hope for the best," or "replace the whole coil and condenser." I asked about a repair option and a clear explanation of what was actually wrong, which led to a whole story about how my system is leaking a pound of freon (two other techs informed us this is actually impossible to measure) and it needs replacement. So basically, I never got an answer on what was actually wrong and a proposal for a new AC. Good thing I went and got several other opinions to confirm that this was all a big fat con job. read more

Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Our furnace went out on a Friday night into one of the coldest weekends of the year! We called Now Heating & Air around 8 PM, and they had a service technician out by 9 PM. We were so grateful to have Ian there working late on a freezing Friday night. He was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. We had to replace our furnace (15 years old,) but Ian took the time to be very thorough and explanatory in his diagnostic findings as well as options to fix or replace the furnace. He treated us and our home as it was his first job of the day. He called his associate Tera at 10:30 PM, and she was able to put together a list of packages and quotes and financing options for us. The time they took to explain our options, costs, pros/cons of each option and that really impressed us. They treated us like neighbors and couldn't have been nicer. NOW Heating and Air installed a brand new furnace, AC unit, and water heater that following Wednesday (all units were at the end of their life span and needed eventual replacing). They arrived to the job 8 AM sharp, and did a great job installing everything, cleaning up and getting our house nice and warm. Tera has been extremely responsive every time I've needed to get a hold of her for questions I've had. She is always so helpful and friendly. Now Heating and Air repairman Arron J. Tried to over charge for a simple cleaning for 1 and a half hours of work at a rate of over 600 dollars. I was discussing that price with my elderly mother saying it was too high and sounded like they were trying to scam her. Arron J. then insulted me inside my residence and became aggressive that I felt threatened by Now's Employee. I insisted he leave the home and he continued to insult me for questioning a price that was much too high for a cleaning.. The filter was already clean before they arrived. Then Arron thought it was okay to tease me for living with my elderly mother. He did take an aggressive posture and threatened me and teased me. The police had to be called out by me to monitor the hostile situation. I would recommend that people do not do business with this company if their employees are going to become hostile to the people residing at the address. The cleaning was a scam and prior service to the home for a cleaning involved them using our garden hose to hose down the outdoor equipment and the filter. This time the filter already was clean. The fact police had to be called out on the aggressive and insulting nature of their employee is simply bad enough. I do not recommend this service company. read more

My furnace had been acting up for over a year and I called several companies for quotes to replace it last fall and I wasn't comfortable with any of them. This month I had enough of my furnace acting up. Sam came over and gave me a quote for a new furnace and since I don't have AC he also gave me a quote for that as well. I figured if I'm getting a new furnace, I'm getting AC. Sam was so helpful and explained the different models of furnace and AC available and answered all my questions. Sam provided quotes on the different options, and understood I had a budget and was determined to find the right fit for my needs and my budget. This was very important to me. I also wanted to replace my water heater since it was nearing 20 years old. Sam was able to help me out with that as well. Very affordable and I was able to add that on to my project. I did have to re-evaluate what furnace and AC model to get though. I would highly recommend NOW Heating & Air for installation and replacement. Sam checked all costs on different units and was able to provide the best equipment that fit my needs and within my budget. I now have a New furnace that works wonderful, AC which I'm thrilled to have, and a new water heater. read more

Never used NOW Heating And Air from Commerce City. I never even heard of them. All I knew is that it had been in the low teens at night and my furnace was on the blink. Called two companies to come and fix the problem, both failed to fix it. One claimed that they were a five star company and that he knew my unit would fail after they would fix it and that I would sue them. He said I should install an eighty percent through their company. The tech told me he would take me to court if I didn't pay his diagnostic charge of 200.00 dollars I paid him and he was gone. And I'm left at square one. Next day I looked for a new furnace. That's when I found NOW Heating And Air from Commerce City. NOW I'm sitting here all nice and toasty writing this. Very satisfied. We were so pleased with our service from Eric at NOW heating and Air. We had an emergency visit since our furnace stopped working yesterday. Eric made sure we got taken care off even though it was after business hours (no extra fee!). He took a look at our unit and mentioned that we would need to upgrade in the next couple of years, but that he would just fix the problem at hand that evening. Now heating & Air was out to my home this fall for a inspection on my furnace, they were very professional and on time which is great for me cause I am super busy! They walked me through everything and showed me photos of what was going on inside of my home with the air ducts and the furnace.. They cleaned the furnace up and it is working GREAT Now! Also purchased a duct cleaning from Drew and throughly happy now that I know my home is clean.. These guys know their stuff! I've been a customer since 2015 when they updated our ancient a/c and heater with a new, fancy set up. After about 5 cost estimates, Now H&A came in right about in the middle, which seemed reasonable to me, given the additional services they covered in their quote. Since then, they contact me twice each year to remind me to get spring and fall maintenance to keep my HVAC system in top shape - better still, they send the same guy (shout out to Brian!) each time, so we are able to establish a working relationship with someone who is familiar with our property and with our system. Had no heat, office was very professional and courteous, had a technician with in the hour, removed debris from the exhaust pipes and away it went, heat! They left me with a chore list and future recommendations, and set us up for there free maintenance program, price was right, but they do have a 59 charge up to 2 times a year to come out for the future maintenance, and all the repairs are guaranteed for three years, so definitely a no brainer to sign up for the free program plus terry gave me 15% off instantly for signing up. The inside sales manager Tera wasn't a pushy sales person trying to unload old inventory. She walked me through several options and genuinely wanted me to make the best decision for my family. My AC went on the brink when temps were in the nineties. I had foot surgery and was confined to my home. Being over heated was not an option for me. I called the company to schedule and within 2 days, the technician was at my home. Joe T came and quickly diagnosed the problem. He was very polite and professional. We have used this company for many years. Ian Replaced our Air filter and Charles cleaned our air ducts. Both did excellent jobs. Ian has been our technician from the start, he is friendly, fast, and knowledgable . Charles also did a great job on the air ducts, they had been cleaned by a different company last year, but we never saw any difference. this time Charles cleaned them and got pieces of wood left when the house was built. He explained all the issues my unit was having, he really broke it down for me, I decided to go ahead with all the repairs he suggested.
