Our farmers market where we typically go to get a Sunday cookie was not open due to weather so we decided to drive to downtown Campbell to look around and visit this cookie bar. In my mind I was imagining a nice display of lots of different types of cookies and it was very unimpressive. When I walked in I wasn't even sure if they actually had cookies. There was a small display with one of each desserts out.They don't have very many flavors, and while they have mini cookies you have to buy a dozen. The girl working behind the counter was very polite. my kids seem to like the cookies, the only reason for four stars is because of the selection and presentation. read more

It's such an understated little place, and the cookies are amazing! Walking by you might not give it notice. I was traveling for work and after an exhausting day, stopped by on my way back to my hotel, the Quattro cookie is perfect! Delicious cookies - currently with a vegan snickerdoodle (my personal favorite cookie) and a vegan red velvet cookie, which was huge and delicious! The staff are always friendly and willing to let you sample their ice cream till your heart's content. I always walk in, get what I want, and go, but there are a couple places to sit inside. It's always pretty quiet when I go in, and always very clean. The aroma as you enter is the most enticing, and reminds me of the Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream shop in Columbus, OH. Love cookies and especially cupcakes, so I was glad to see a new spot around. First impression was that there's not much atmosphere, the store itself isn't inviting. And I was surprised the variety in cookies was so light. And didn't expect to see ice cream. The gentleman seemed friendly. I got a gluten and dairy free vegan chocolate cupcake, given my allergies, but I prefer them and there weren't any cookies I could have anyway. It was on the smaller side and supposed to be cream-filled but there was only a small touch of icing in the middle and drizzled on top. And the cake was ok, so overall it was a disappoint. My partner got the chocolate chip cookie, which he liked--and at $2.20, he was happy. We went back so he could grab two more cookies and I let the gentlemen know about my cupcake. I was really surprised because he just shrugged and said "oh". He simply didn't care (and then I wished I hadn't tipped him.) Bummer, because I would've at least appreciated him saying he'd share the feedback or something so I would want to return and support the business. Makes a big difference to have employees that care, which is harder these days with staffing issues. A business is always run better when an owner is onsite! read more

Honestly this cookie shop was a little underwhelming for me. I was expecting to have a little more on the speciality cookies or something a little more unique. The cookies were good but pretty standard, and a little pricey for something that was pretty plain. Flavors were good but honestly most of the cookies could be easily made at home or baked from a pre made cookie and it would have been just as enjoyable. They do have make your own ice cream cookie sandwiches, so it's possible that's where they shine. read more

Searched for cupcakes one night and this place came up. Figured it would be good since it looks posh and is in a nice location in downtown Campbell. When I arrived, they were out of cupcakes, but the girl assured me more would be ready in "just one minute!" 10 minutes later, after repeatedly asking the "baker" to finish ( he looked like he didn't want to be there) they were finally ready. Some of the worst cupcakes I've ever had. Raw in the middle, grainy texture, weird taste. The "frosting" was hastily slapped on with a cris-cros fork pattern (like a peanut butter cookie). My 3 year old could have made a better cupcake. Cookies were subpar, had a homemade look. The only thing decent was the brownie. Do youself a favor and get a Betty Crocker mix- it will be waaay better. Oh, all that junk was almost $30!! I expected waaay more. read more

I had my 1st experience with Nox today. And, boy, was I happy I did. The owner, Nathan, provides great service. And when I asked him which of 2 cookies I should get, he said they're both good, but he recommended the chocolate chip and chunk. That's the one I picked. And, boy, was I happy I did (have I already said that?). It was absolutely delicious. I went to the store in Campbell, but it turns out that they have another store just down the street from where I work in Downtown San Jose. As a person who is allergic to many random things, this place terrifies me. We went in after dinner to get a sweet treat and asked what was in their cookies and other desserts. The response was, "the only known allergens are eggs and wheat". I'm not allergic to either so I felt ok but at the same time, millions of people are allergic to random things like soy, berries, etc. that aren't on the "known allergen" list used by this establishment. I tried looking around the store for a pamphlet/poster about the nutritional information of their products but didn't find anything. The staff didn't seem that informed to answer my questions so I looked online. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything on the website either. As far as food goes, there is a vegan lava cake that's made out of something that I couldn't tell you (since the staff had no clue either). What makes it vegan? "No eggs" I was told. I hope this place posts some information about their ingredients so people can be more informed. read more
