Large dense cookies. Cookies are a favorite for dessert but these didn't quite hit the spot. I tried the oatmeal raisin and peanut butter, which was the better one. Both are very dense and don't have that cravable buttery melt in your mouth taste. The Chocolate Chip n Chunk and the Cookie Con Candy were sandwiched between the Heaven ice cream flavor, which had peanut butter ribboned in. The salty PB was a nice touch and balanced the cookies really well! The cookie wasn't warmed up so you can't break it with a spoon. That's not to say the cookies were hard, but you have to bite into it to eat, not with utensils. Warming it up would melt the ice cream so I understand that not being automatically serviced. We found Nox walking around downtown Campbell. My kids saw the cookies in the windows so of course we had to go in! Inside was clean, we were greeted warmly and helped right away. Pretty solid lil ice cream sandwich cookies. You choose your cookies and ice cream flavor you want inside. I think there is a large cookie sandwich size but my kids got the lil ones, which were perfect for them. The snickerdoodle cookies were good, a lil more on the firm side and I prefer soft but that's just personal preference. My kids enjoyed it. I believe I saw gluten free cookies too. read more

This is probably the fanciest cookie shop I've ever seen. It's clean and they have lots of seating. The service is friendly and quick. The issue is the quality of the cookie. While it was close to the end of the day, the cookie didn't seem fresh. It was cold and hard. Tons of dough, not a lot of chocolate chunks. The sea salt was weird so I'd recommend skipping that. This review is for the vegan cookies. While I appreciate that Nox Cookies even offers vegan options, I sadly wasn't a big fan of these and have had much better vegan cookies. But I've also had worse lol. They had two options, snickerdoodle and red velvet. I got both for $4 each. I didn't like snickerdoodle at all. It has a chalky consistency and the flavor is off. The red velvet is decent in comparison! The flavor is there and it's softer than the snickerdoodle. The fellow who helped me was super sweet and has great customer service. However I can't recommend these cookies. They're expensive and just not great. For a really stellar vegan cookie, check out pacific cookie company in Santa Cruz. They are only $1.50 too! read more

Came here with friends for a late night dessert on a Friday! There were lot of chairs inside and they stayed open pretty late so we were there hanging out for a while. The staff was really kind and nice about us staying and chatting. I got their brownie and thought it was really yummy! It was very chocolatey and fudge-y especially after being warmed. I've been to Nox's original location in Downtown San Jose a few years ago, and remember I didn't love any of the flavors I tried at that time. Since I didn't have a chance to finish my review at that time, I decided to stop by their new location in downtown Campbell and check them out again. I appreciated that they're open late since there aren't a lot of late night dessert options in Campbell. In addition to a variety of cookies (chocolate chip n chunk, snickerdoodle, oatmeal raisin, pumpkin spice, quattro cioccolato, sugar sugar, cookie con candy, peanut butter) and other desserts (pumpkin tart, cheesecake poppers, lemon bar, brownie), they also had ice cream from Marianne's. I loved that they had regular sized cookies as well as mini cookies. They even had some gluten free and vegan dessert options. It was chewy and had sugar flavor, but could've used a little more chew and buttery flavor. Parking in this area can be tough to find during the weekends, but there are usually street parking spots or a couple of parking lots nearby. read more

I got 2 chocolate chip with sea salt, 1 m&m, and 1 peanut butter. All of the cookies were lacking in flavor and lacking in freshness. The m&m one was the least stale of the 3 flavors. Also the chocolate chip with sea salt had like 3 small pieces of sea salt that didn't add to the flavor at all. The actual dough base for all of the cookies was a very cheap manufactured flavor. My husband and I were taking an evening walk through Downtown Campbell and noticed that Nox was finally open! In fact they had been open for 2 weeks! We walked in and the store looked pretty bare and had a lot of space. I assume they are still setting up and may add some chairs and tables later. They had a big menu board with cookie and ice cream flavors and prices. The cookies were about $2.50 each and were a good size. The service was great and everyone is friendly. The guy working their even told us about their upcoming lemon cookie and other seasonal treats. We decided to go for the snickerdoodle but honestly, the chocolate chip and peanut butter looked great too. They offered to warm the cookie up but we decided to take it home and eat it later. The snickerdoodle was great and had the perfect amount of cinnamon sugar on the top and was baked fully without it being dry. It was your standard snickerdoodle and tasted great with milk. I would definitely come back here again and try the other cookies. Nox cookie bar needs to advertise more as their store is right at the end of Downtown Campbell and you really miss it. We got chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, peanut butter, and Quattro cioccoloto. Overall they were okay, but nothing special. During my recent visit back home, we decided to try Nox. Our first experience was through DoorDash because I don't have DoorDash where I live and you better believe I am going to utilize it when it is available on my travels. Anyhow, our order was done correctly and arrived promptly so obviously good coordination between the two services. We also ordered the tin roof Sunday ice cream which is probably some of the best tin roof ice cream I have ever had. I found out it is Marianne's out of Santa Cruz so that explains everything! I got a gluten free chocolate chip and my goodness was that a WONDERFUL surprise. Soft, flavorful, and big! Our second interaction with this business was on the way out of town because we liked the cookies so much we wanted to bring some home. Because we were on our way home and wanted to hit the road rather promptly we ordered through the businesses website. Unfortunately, despite arriving after they said it would be ready, it wasn't. I don't know if this is a flaw on the websites part or whatever but we did have to wait a little bit. It wasn't a deal breaker, but it was disappointing. So hopefully if the business sees this they can at least look into their website and see why their staff wasn't alerted to our order. When I arrived the young lady was packing up an order for DoorDash. So I am going to lean on it being a computer error and not human error.
