Reviews on yelp are mixed but this place isn't bad. Not as good as sushi in any big city but if you're craving sushi, this is a decent option. Salmon and eel was excellent, tuna was just ok. Friendly service, lots of locals, very casual. Menu includes Thai, Japanese and Chinese dishes. My friend had szechuan shrimp and we shared fried potstickers, both of which were really good. Honestly just awful across the board. The Pad Thai was incredibly spicy but little flavor somehow. The sushi was inedible. It looked super gross and tasted worse. We had reservations for a birthday dinner at Nazawas and called ahead to see if we could bring a cake. Our food was phenomenal but after an hour of sitting down we were told by a woman we had to leave. We all had full drinks that we weren't able to finish when we were forced to leave our chairs. The Hibachi was the worst. Soy sauce, bad butter, and too much garlic are thier main seasonings. The fried rice had only one flavor, burnt eggs. Our dinner tonight was absolutely delicious! Every Sushi roll we had was absolutely on point. Every bite was perfect. We had the spicy scallop roll, fresh water eel roll, dragon roll, mountain top roll, Ichi ban roll and the tiger roll. We love eating here but our last visit was horrible. We came in for Habachi on a Sunday night and they added an automatic 20% gratuity even though we are only 2 people, which was fine for us but when I checked my bank account I noticed that an additional 27$ was added to the bill bringing the total tip over 40%. This is not what I agreed to pay and it is not the amount that I signed the check for. We even added an extra cash tip on top of the servers and tipped out the Habachi chef for an additional 15$. Loved this place! The fried rice was just ok, the tempura butterfish is a must have. I had the Nozawa Delight B with New York Strip, Rib Eye and Scallops. The meat and Scallops were cooked perfectly. Overall experience was negative. We had reservations for 8 and didn't sit down until 9. The sushi was decent and so bad was the hibachi steak, chicken, shrimp, and fried rice. No complaints about the quality of the food. The price on the other hand was absolutely absurd. 300 bucks for 4 people with no alcohol. The quality of the food no where near warranted the price. The Sake with Pineapple is a must! Their rolls are absolutely delicious and they have so many choices, the price was good for us change of season so you SAVE SAVE SAVE. Came here after my daughter requested sushi. The place was empty (on a Friday night) which should have been my first indication to turn around! My daughters sushi was ehh at best. Sushi is always great. Service was good. Restaurant is clean. Hibachi was good, fun for all. Seasoning was good, except for TOO much garlic. Ordered scallops, obviously a delicate seafood that needs minimal seasoning...a little S&P and maybe a squeeze of lemon. Chef put over 1 Tbsp of chopped garlic on 8 oz of scallops. I couldn't eat them all because of it. Vegetables were cooked perfectly. Will return but will ask for No garlic. read more

The bento box deal is one of my favorite lunch specials in Avon. for less than $11 you get your meal plus three pieces of a California roll, side salad, tempura fried veggies, and a soup. My friend and I came here for dinner and were seated immediately on a Saturday night. It was very quaint and the server Rachel was very friendly and awesome! She even recommended some places to go out after dinner around the area and was very attentive throughout our dining experience. We were disappointed with the costs of the entrees but I guess its beaver creek and its expected. We ordered the thai fried rice for $13.95 which is pretty ridiculous. It was plain and bland. The beef was a little hard and burnt. I wouldn't recommend it especially for that price tag. There wasn't even any flavor in the pineapples. As for the eggplant with pork sauce entree, it was delicious! I was very skeptical about ordering it since I've had many eggplant dishes before and am particular about them. However was very impressed with the taste and how they prepared the eggplant. Me and my friends love going to this place. The sushi is delicious and the staff are warm and welcoming. I would recommend trying out the "Snow Roll" which is my favorite!
