I have gotten several leases when Nucar was Boch. My current lease will be up soon. Last week, the loyalty specialist, Michael, reached out to me asking if I was able to come in and start my end of lease process and look at some cars. I told Michael that I was not interested in the Venza or the Rav. I was interested in the Corolla line. He stated he will everything ready for me to look at. I also asked if I could have the pay-out figure in case I was interested in keeping my lease. All down hill. I called the dealership telling them I would be a few minutes late. I received a text from Michael and email from another individual wondering why I didn't keep my appointment? Obviously at that time I was sitting in the waiting area. So one would think they were prepared to see me. wrong!! Multiple sales people with excuses that cars were not available to look at. They could not do a simple turn in appraisal. I ordered on line a protective front-end film for my recently purchased Toyota Avalon. The film was delivered relatively quickly in a tube with NUCAR's return North Attleboro address on the outside. After reading the installation instructions for the film, I decided to return the product. I went on the NUCAR website to see their return policy. My return fell within the written return policy guidelines, but the website said all returns needed to obtain a Return Authorization number from NUCAR before shipping the item back. My request for a Return Authorization number was denied, with the reason being my order had supposedly been shipped from a third party. There was no prior indication the shipment was coming from a third party nor that a third-party shipped item was nonreturnable. i do not recommend this dealer at all!!!! I inquired about a 2013 Chevy volt and said I am looking for a vehicle that gets 41 miles to the gallon. The salesman told me the car is not on the repaired and then countered with vehicles that don't even get 30 miles to the gallon despite my instructions. I was then offered to test drive the vehicle that was at a repair shop for a brake replacement before the brakes replacement was actually completed. I also expressed concern about the HV hybrid battery being old as the car was a 2013 and the recommended replacement was 8 to 10 years. The salesman danced around the issue and said that I should take the recommended replacement time for the battery with a grain of salt. keep in mind the replacement battery is over $5000. He then told me that I probably had not completed 60% of the recommended maintenance for my current vehicle. i told him I was not interested and he continued to pressure me to buy the vehicle. read more

Brought 2021 Highlander with 19K miles in for oil change/inspection sticker. Tech tries to sell me new tires. I decline. Tires/treads are fine. Two hours later calls me to say they can't complete inspection because my tires are "in such bad condition". Complete waste of time. I will NEVER buy from BOCH or use them for service again. Had NO PROBLEM getting inspection sticker. Truly despicable practice. read more

I had a 10:00 appointment to have my car serviced. I was told it would be about an hour wait, maybe an hour and a half. My car was still sitting in the parking lot an hour and a half later. I texted,no response. It finally went in and it took 15 minutes to service. No one contacted me when it was done- I saw it in the parking lot and texted. No response. I went to the desk and got my keys. This never happens at Copeland Toyota in Brockton. I went there for 25 years and never had a problem. I will never go back to Boch Toyota again. read more

I needed what should have been a simple recall repair. I was told it would be an hour and 45 so I decided to leave. I came back over 3 hrs later, it was still not done; it ended up being close to 6.5 hrs, more than 3 of which I spent waiting in the lobby. I wouldn't be as annoyed if this was the first time. Last time, I told them I would wait for a 1-2 hr repair and several hours later, i find out my car was already fixed hours before. I had been waiting in their lobby for hours and they didn't tell me when I told them I was waiting. They said they called me in the lobby multiple times which was not true, I was there the whole time. Plus, if they had actually done their job, if I wasn't in the lobby like they said, they should call me to tell me... but they clearly didn't (call logs don't lie...). Then I guess i should have known better after first buying this car. I guess the old stereotypes about carsalesmen are true after all... Well, I'll leave it at that. read more

I've bought two vehicles at Boch. Sales service were good and service department is organized.

If I didn't have to go to them for recall repairs I would never go here again. Was quoted a decent price for suspension system after my last recall repair. Was told would be done by end of the day. End of the day , no call. The next day I called all day long. Voicemail over and over. Finally at the end of the day I got ahold of someone who finally let me know that repair hadn't even begun. Next morning still couldn't get ahold of the original rep. Finally was called back and told it was complete. Went to pick up car, $350 more than originally quoted. Because I was quoted over phone, no one found original quote so nothing they could do. I made myself very clear that I was completely unhappy with the entire experience. Thankfully in the end the rep I talked to discounted to original quote. Hopefully never getting a repair here again. read more

I brought my car in for a airbag recall. When I went to pick it up the technician said to me that I must have had a chip on the windshield as I now ( 1 hr 45 min later) have a 14"x14" crack on the drivers side. He couldn't really make eye contact with me as he was speaking. I didn't have a chip on my windshield. They obviously broke it and would not take responsibility for it. I went in for the free oil change that comes with my lease and they tried telling me that rodents made a nest by my cabin filter. They showed me pictures, said it would be $253 to clean/replace the filter. I didn't believe them. I went to a competitor of theirs: they found no nesting material, no sign of rodents in my car, and my air filter was fine. All they care about is trying to get the most money out of their customers, lying, cheating, and scheming any way they can. read more

Horrible...first time they charged $250 to change front & rear differential oil and transfer case oil. Second time brought in with slight run-out in left rear wheel. Was told needed to replace entire rear axle assembly at a cost of $8,500. Instead I disassembled and found small ring of metal between hub and rotor, a result of previous rotor removal from a recent brake job. With screwdriver I removed the debris - all set. Third and last time I towed car to garage, wouldn't start. Was told I first would have to first authorize $110 detail of interior of car before they would work on. It was a hot day and by the time they got to the car the litter box in my small pet carrier (for 2 ferrets) became aromatic. I forgot to remove the empty carrier from the back of the car and they wouldn't. I took the car, absurd. read more

Deceitful is the only word I know that adequately reflects the Boch Toyota Norwood Staff ..From Certified Sales Consultant Robert Bardwell IV to his Sales Manager Kyle Stojek to their smooth talking General Manager Eric Ynvge ... they are a tag team of double talk. Their website uses incorrect descriptions of standard equipment which is readily used to describe the car of your dreams .... and it is the car of your dreams until you pay in full at which time the information is taken down and you get what boch Toyota Norwood wants to deliver. Don't take my word for it - go in and be on the alert for the mis-representation .... experience it first hand ... pictures, standard equipment descriptions and specifications list what you can pay extra to get - not what is included in your vehicle. I've bought cars from Boch Honda in the past and had a great experience ... but this Toyota crew is bad news .... good hunting for your next vehicle. HORRIBLE experience in sales and service. Lied about offering loaner vehicle with service. I bought a "Certified Pre- Owned" Toyota Sienna with low miles. When driving it at time of purchase there was a "humming sound" at early acceleration. I requested service to drive the car with me and they documented that it was not an issue. Brought car back within 30 days for same sound. AGAIN they said it was not an issue. A month later I took the car to my usual dealer for oil change. Service at McGee always prompt and reliable. They verified that this noise was NOT typical and indicated either Catalytic Converter or exhaust. I contacted Kenny Lopez Director of Boch Toyota Service who denied that the issue was reported, denied he would fix it, denied that they give loaner cars and told me he was "Sorry I was disappointed" when I said the very reason I buy Toyota was because of service and reliability. I got neither at BOCH TOYOTA IN NORWOOD. NEVER GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP. From sales to service they are not honest and not worthy of Toyota reputation. STAY AWAY. read more

I called the service department to make a same day appointment. When I arrived they told me they were backed up 2 1/2 hours. I expressed my frustration along why they did not tell me this on when I called an hour earlier on the phone. My service attendant told me that there is no point in telling them because there are 20 people answering the phone. I went to the front desk to voice my complaint and found a very nice woman who understood my point. She was going to bring me to the head of the service department, but we were interrupted by another attendant who then told me I should not have made an appointment on a Saturday because they are always slammed. In the end after speaking to three employees I was never able to speak to the manager. I plan on calling again on Monday. I am only writing this review to give me something to do during my very long wait. read more

Extremely frustrated with Boch service department after numerous trips to address low tire pressure. The first trip's bill was over $400 replacing the front right TPMS sensor and adding adhesive to the rear rim. This seemed expensive but we were willing to pay if it fixed the issue. It did not. We've been back half a dozen times as the tires continue to lose about 3 pounds every few weeks hoping Boch will diagnose and make it right. The biggest concern is safety, a concern Boch service doesn't seem to share or is not incented to address. The common diagnosis is varying temperatures causing the issue, stated with a smile and a quick exit from the service area most recently this weekend. The Highlander has been a great vehicle otherwise, but very unlikely we'll buy another Toyota after this experience. UPDATE: My wife received an email saying 'your satisfaction is our top priority' from Courtney. She replied saying she's unhappy with the service she received and would come back one more time if they Boch could provide a different approach. You know, I bring my vehicles here for certain repairs and maintenance because I purchased them here, it is convenient, usually service work is good, and its Toyota parts. But...Oh My Gosh...last year and a half this place is on a downward spiral, and I can never bring it in now without at least TWO OR MORE of the following situations happening: 1) Drop vehicle off with SPECIFIC DIRECTION to manager to check problem and call me before work is done so I can authorize it...NO CALL/WORK DONE 2) Manager texts you with telephone number to call him for questions/update....CALL REPEATEDLY AND GET NO ANSWER 3) With manager not answering, call operator and service number ...CALL NUMEROUS TIMES (4-5) JUST TO GET A PHONE PICK UP 4) Bill is written up and summarized with your "QUOTED PRICES"....TAKE A LOOK AT THIS ONE CAREFULLY...THEY ADD IN THE "SHOP" COSTS THERE THAT THEY DON'T TELL YOU ABOUT UP FRONT, SO YOUR BILL IS HIGHER THAN EXPECTED 5) NOW A NEW ONE...ADDED 3% OF TOTAL COST FOR USE OF A CREDIT CARD...NOTHING POSTED AT CASHIER TO LET YOU KNOW THEY ARE DOING IT....Ashamed to say they got me on this when I paid my bill..I had the repair slip in my hand and didn't notice the little adder that totaled after the service cost and was described a "Non Cash ADJ" Be talking to BBB on this one..... They are polite there, but whoever oversees their service department has to be an absolute BOZO not to be able to see these issues and correct them. Do not get your vehicle serviced at Boch Toyota in Norwood. I went about 6 months ago to get a simple oil change and on my way home i noticed smoke coming from the hood of my truck. I pulled over,popped the hood and oil had spewed all over my engine. The technician did NOT put the oil cap back on. I decided to give them another try last week and it was a complete nightmare. They misdiagnosed brakes and rotors and charged me over $900. My front end was still the same when i left(shaking when i braked). I decided to go to a different mechanic who fixed my problem for $110. I am disgusted with Boch Toyota and after filing a complaint via email they still haven't contacted me and it's been 5 days. Not good, Boch Toyota. Went for an oil change and tire rotation (free because I purchased there). After 2 hours and changing 2 air filters, I was charged $40 labor. No problem paying for the new filters, but $40 for labor, really?? No wonder it took 2 hours, just to be able to charge for labor. I will never go back for service here. read more

Brought my car in to evaluate whether a required serviced was covered under an extended warranty. I was informed, when I dropped off the car that there were 2 recall issues that also could be taken care of at the same time. My appointment for service was at 7:30AM, by 12 noon I had not heard back from anyone yet. I called the service desk and there was no answer. The phone rang 20 times( no exaggeration) and not only did no one answer, but there was no voicemail to ask for a call back. 2PM I called again,same result. I decided to try a different line(dedicated to scheduling appointments) and spoke with a woman and explained my situation. She called the service desk and my service representative and neither would answer. 3:30 service representative calls me, car has been there for 8 hours. Explains to me that the issue does not qualify for warranty coverage, the recall issues have NOT been addressed, AND on I need brake service for over $500. I normally don't do reviews, but my experience here was so bad I had to share. Called for same day service of a tire rotation and oil change. The rep told me it would take an hour. This was at 6:40pm. At 8:30 (they close at 8:00pm) I went to check on what was taking so long. Turns out my car was ready for at least half an hour (probably more) but no one checked on me. So after paying a little over a $100 I head out with a clean bill of health on my car. Thing is as I'm driving off, the brakes make a funny sound. Turns out the same car they just told me was in great condition had shot breaks in the rear and a bad rotor. Take into consideration that the last time I went they told me my tires were worn (they were brand new).I think when I get an oil change and tire rotation they don't really check the car at all. Because they could have told me the pads were low when i went the last time. Now I have to change the pads and a rotor too due to negligence. Also, if I hadn't turned around I'd be driving for at least a few more weeks not knowing something was wrong. Avoid this service center completely. The ONLY bright spot was the guy who helped me at the end. He was kind and made sure to double check the car when I said something was wrong. Other than him...do NOT WASTE your money here!!!!!! read more
