Upon entering, our wet table had a caustic cleaning smell. Our waiter was blah...listless and uninterested. He then proceeded to lean over the table into our space before we were obviously not ready to order. He seemed put out when I said we weren't ready. There was an order next to us, with maximum smoke. If there had been a smoke alarm, it would have gone off. They should have opened the door. The Angry Bird salad was pretty good, prawns well cooked. Beet salad was bad, we had to send back because beets were hard. They then brought it back with burned beets. Should have given it us for free. Noodles dishes were good. I have such mixed feelings about Nudi. The interior is unique and charming and the menu is very creative. Sometimes communication can be a little tough (but friendly), which is hard with dietary restrictions. The menu takes risks that mostly pay off with unique flavor combinations, but it never feels like I quite found something I am totally satisfied with. read more

The service was amazing all the staff were attentive to us. Made sure we had water and drinks and made sure we had any questions about any dishes. The food we ordered was really good the appetizers were small but very tasteful fresh crab meat. The Ramen was super filling and it was a big portion and trust me when I tell you it was a lot of food it was my man eats a lot. He is a big boy and he was full. They do, and the profiles all work seamlessly with each other. Food: 1. Duck larb - juicy and clean. The duck doesn't overpower the fresh greens, and the flavor is kept simple. Presentation is superb. 2. Lak Sa - the most popular noodle dish, and I can see why. Noodles are al dente, pork is tender, and the sauce is a light, yet rich peanut extravaganza. 3. Massaman lamb - if you don't like lamb, try this. It falls apart. My wife says the roti is better than Hat Yai (say it ain't so). We love massaman, and this may be our new go to for it. Could've been the weather but their outdoor seating was fabulous! Ok first of all.. what is in that Devil wings of yours??? it was like crack! lolll so much flavor!! the seasoning was phenomenal.. I love that it also came in a brown paper bag. made it seem even more naughty lollll I think it was one of the best chicken wings Ive had in awhile. Angry birds salad -- (all these names makes me giggle) lots of crunchy texture and great flavors as well. a perfect summer salad seafood pad thai-- woah fancyy.. personally, I think I like my pad thai more simple. flavors were a bit on the sweeter side but overall pretty good. we cleaned our plates and left happy. I knew I had to try this place because it had two of my favorite things: Asian fusion and Noodles. It's a cute restaurant and definitely has that Portland-hipster vibe with its decor, atmosphere and service. I was super thankful that it had it's own little parking lot (even though it was rather small). Onto the food, we ordered three dishes: Tom Yum Ramen, Murtabak (Indian crepe and seasonal dish) and the Boat Noodles. Out of these 3 dishes, the Murabak was definitely the best. We were a little skeptic about ordering this dish but so glad we did. The texture of the crepe was something I never had before, like it was a little crunchy but still soft at the same time. The flavors were amazing and hit your taste buds instantly. The Tom Yum Ramen is exactly how it sounds: tom yum soup with ramen noodles. Although pretty generic, it was still great! I love the flavors of tom yum soup and the texture of ramen noodles so I thought it was a great pairing. The Boat Noodles was basically like pho but with more noodles, less broth and added pork rinds. Unfortunately the pork rinds got soggy pretty quickly due to the heat and broth. Both the Tom Yum Ramen and Boat Noodles could have been less salty. I personally love salty foods but it was a bit overwhelming in the Boat Noodles dish. Overall, I would come back to this place if I'm in the area. I would definitely get the Murtabak again and they should add it to their official menu. read more

And the main server/cook/ owner always introduces us the some amazing specialt of the day. Regardless of what you have, the noodles are amazing and unique! Don't forget to try any of their teas. There was a neat infuser and a large serving of the loose chrysanthemum tea I enjoyed. I would recommend the Tom Yum Kah soup. It had a well balanced peanutty and lemongrass flavor! At our last visit we had the jap chae (Korean stir-fried glass noodles made from sweet potatoes, shitake mushrooms, yellow squash, napa cabbage, broccoli, carrots, yellow onions, sesame seed, and garlic, served with a sesame tapioca cracker) and the sukhothai noodles (rice noodles, crispy pork belly, ground pork, cod patties, shrimp, a soft-boiled egg, crushed peanuts, green beans, bean sprouts, sweet radish, cilantro, celery, green onion, chili, with limes and a palm sugar-lime sauce). Both dishes were excellent and more than satisfying. The lists of ingredients in each dish should give you a sense of each dish's many layers of flavors. Very hip looking place. Very awesome service, all staff made sure we were comfortable and well-informed about the seasonal specials. Very attentive, very pleasant, very informative. The food was very good-looking! All of them! I started with the Butterfly Flower drink that supposed to prevent cancer, too. The drink was purple. When lemon was squeezed in, it turned pink due to reaction with the acidity. Neat! I had the recommended oyster shooter. Nice sauce with fried garlic... very Asian tasting oyster shooter. Next was the Frog legs. Wow, these were amazing. Tenderly cooked, lightly fried, a nice salty sauce with complexity of flavors. Finally, the boat noodles was a nice volume of beef parts and noodles. I'm not sure why the noodles were so packed up in one big ball, though. A good experience. I'm Asian, and hence a slightly harsher judgment on the food... flavor balance of appetizers and beef quality in boat noodles... loved the staff and ambiance, tho! read more

Covered Seating outside with heaters although I'd imagine it would be lovely on a nice day. It's Thai food but with a twist. EVERYTHING on the menu sounded spectacular! But sadly I had to narrow it down: Oyster shooter. OHMYGAWWD! It was SOOO good. It was floating in a sweet and savory juice with fried garlic slices. Soba Tom kha noodles (chicken) in med/hot. It had a nice kick to it and I accidentally ate a pepper and WOOT!! it waaaasss hhhooottttt, which I loved! Soba noodles were soft and perfect, Chicken wasn't too try, hot/sour/ coconuty soup coated my throat. Not only did it look cosmetically appealing, it was so tasty! I didn't think I was gonna get full off of it but don't like the large shallow plate fool you! I was stuffed when I left! Oh! It's pretty dark in there so watch out for the lemon grass bits in there! Highly recommend this place. The atmosphere is nice - floral/grassy decor. Once we ordered the food came out at a good time too! And the food is next level amazing. So many things are gluten free but they don't compromise on taste. Those at our table who aren't gluten free didn't miss it in their dishes. We got the calamari (great), chocolate ribs (don't skip these!), devil wings (very good), and frog legs (a first and great). Our friends got a noodle dish with basil and lamb that was absolutely phenomenal. My kids had a chicken noodle bowl that they enjoyed too! It's also a great place to try new flavor combinations. This is the most missed Asian food I had been craving for. The taste is close to what I had at my home country. We called it "Laksa" in one word. Though it was Slightly too sweet. It was flavored with chives, mushrooms, and spices. The egg and shrimp were also delicious. I requested no pork but looking back I wonder if they could have substituted tofu. The dish was great, but seemed like it was lacking another protein source since I omitted the main meat. The desserts sounded interesting but I was too full to order one. They had a ginger hibiscus tea that was amazing but my server filled my glass with a lot of ice. I wished we could have had a refill because of this. Came here for lunch. Food is phenomenal. Could not believe the place was empty at noon. Seems a little pricey at first but super high quality and huge portions. I got the brisket ramen and my coworker got the duck curry. We also shared the chicken wings. We both loved everything. She thought wings were a little spicy but I really enjoyed them. I have always enjoyed Nudi's food, atmosphere, and staff. However, I ordered two noodle soups for takeout, got home, and both soups didn't have any noodles. Basically I got chicken and broth for $15 each. I called, and the person I spoke to said I could come back and get my noodles. When I said I was too far away I wasn't offered any other compensation. When I order chicken noodle soup I expect noodles, and not be the one who has to spend more time and gas to go back and get what I should have gotten to begin with. I guess I'm most upset by their flip attitude. read more
