Worce experience ever !!! After 2 yr of issues that accrued after the job was done and 2 times board of contractors was involved, I still continue having problems with flooring. Also the worce customer service from secretary Mery, she had been rude every time a called ! Please do yourself a favor and avoid this company. Ones you pay, you are nothing to them! This place is an absolute disgrace. If I could select no stars or negative stars...I would. My wife and I, have been lied to throughout this entire process, which ultimately resulted in the stairs portion of the project being unfinished and butchered. We chose to install laminate floors with a carpet runner (reference pictures below) At the start of the project, the installer cut our stairs down to the point that you couldn't step on them comfortably. I expressed my concerns and they assured me they would and on to the stairs somehow and extend the stairs back to their original size. Not only did this not happen, the laminate along the sides were nailed in, and the nails were extremely visible which looked awful especially on near black laminate wood, and the carpet runner isn't secure on the stairs so the edge of the stairs aren't stable and the carpet comes out of the sides every time you walk on it. Eric, the foreman for the wood crew, told us "I don't know why my guy did it that way" and that he would get the floors re-order and come back to fix....never happen. After expressing my disgust with the quality of work and the fact that about 3 inches of my stairs were cut out Manny came by to see it. After Manny comes out to see it and agrees the work is terrible, he tells my wife and I that they would fix the problem, which was the entire stairs. No one showed up for two weeks. The original installer returns without notice after I complained about the work he had done which was a tense situation. After notifying Eric (the laminate subcontractor foreman), he says the guy is an idiot and should have never came back to my house, which made my wife and I now feel uncomfortable. This was the last time we heard from anyone and we were never contacted about the completion of the job which was May 5th. Being that this company had done work for us before, they had a previous credit card on file, different from the one we gave our initial payment with to start this project. On July 13th, my wife and I get a charge on that account for the remainder for the job that we're still waiting to be finished. What a shady slimy company. I purposely blocked the credit card used for the initial down payment from any new charges because I had a feeling they would try to charge the amount without completing the job. You would think a company would call the customer after 2 months to say they were having a problem charging the card, but of course they didn't because they knew I wouldn't approve the final charge, so they fraudulently charged another card I had on file. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and when my wife called the office Mary had the audacity to have an attitude. Needless to say companies like this make it very hard to be cordial and respectful, they only understand being cussed out and customers having to use profanity with them. So now some Project Manager Ryan is suppose to call me to go over everything that needs to be done...Ill report when I hear from him...oh yea and these jokers charged me $2.19sq. ft instead of $1.89 which I paid previously for the same wood. Hopefully I do not have to report this to the contractors board and/or consumer affairs. I saw the poor reviews from before and I still made the decision to move forward with them, primarily because the other company couldn't get the particular laminate I wanted. The first 2 jobs Nulook did for me was good, but they got bad on this last project...I am more angry that no one reached out to make sure everything was good, they were literally just going to assume it was and charge my card...while I was left to deal with the subcontractors they hired to get things resolved...reviews are everything...read them! read more

Mr. Apollo Liu, you have clearly been given incorrect information as your statements are false. You are right that you are not on the same page with me, your installer or the handyman that your staff recommended to me. Fact: your company installed the Plinths. Given that you don't know your guys installed the Plinths is proof that you're not on the same page. The pictures don't lie. Fact: your installer initially removed the work that the handyman installed. My friend, who is also a co-owner of the property, simply finished what your installer started, which was to remove the remainder of the work because, as you stated, you would not guarantee it. The fact I wasn't charged for the work is proof that it wasn't me that removed it. Fact: your flooring is coming undone as shown and your Yelp reply did not address this issue. After 4 phone calls and 3 weeks later, the installer returned and said he was not authorized to fix the floor. He did not bring any baseboard with him either and only offered to caulk. He said a supervisor would contact me, but no one ever did. Fact: you wrote in your Yelp reply that paint was not covered. I agree and have never complained about paint. Perhaps you were confusing me up with another customer's complaint. Fact: My cell phone records show 15 calls with your company since May 1st and 4 with your installer, plus more with the handyman your company suggested to me. Like you, and probably many of your customers, I am also very busy and waited until my day off on July 4 to post my review. Fact: My final communication to you was on June 24 via your website where I put in writing that if I don't hear from your company, then I am going to post a Yelp review with pictures plus contact the BBB. After 10 days with no reply, I kept my word. The BBB will be contacting you next. As I stated in the email, I am done making phone calls just so you can be sure that you don't "leave behind bad work". You also have my cell phone number and the phone works both ways. read more

I chose a flooring company based on their Yelp reviews but their selection of the tile I wanted was limited and I didn't want to use one company for tile and one for laminate flooring. So I visited Nulook based on a good friend's recommendation whom I knew had done her research so I can't speak too much to competitive pricing but based on the size of the job, I got what I paid for. I had two weeks to get my newly purchased 1,400 square foot townhome ready for move in including some demo, painting (By the way, if you need a good painter, Miguell's Team is incredible: 702.415.1202) from top to bottom and flooring throughout:. Nulook has a great selection and I was able to meander their showroom as much as I needed. They are very busy there but I always got the attention and help I needed. Manny was great! He listened to my comments about the options and suggested a great design, a laminate that has three sizes of planks. It's interesting and has depth and I love it. I had it installed throughout the entire townhouse except the wet areas (kitchen and baths). The laminate can go homey country or warm and sophisticated with a taller base board which is what I went with. They also did the stairs exactly like I wanted. Who knew replacing all the carpet with rich, durable laminate could elevate the place so nicely! The Nulook installers are fast. (They were also great about complying with the specific parking restrictions in my community.) Once the supplies were ordered and delivered, it took about three days to complete. Make sure you give them the info they need to keep their momentum. Have your sections made (grout color, base board, etc.) so not to hold them up and remember, they don't do plumbing or painting. I've lived with my new flooring for over three months now and I don't see any imperfections in the installation. I'm really happy with everything. In fact, I'll be heading back to Nulook when I'm ready for my kitchen backsplash and counter top replacement. Again, I had no time for error and Nulook came through with flying colors. Did not have a good experience with this company. The customer service is very poor, they're not professional or good at communicating.

My husband and I searched at least three places when we stumbled upon Nulook. We went to their showroom and immediately knew that this was the place. We planned on changing out the flooring for our whole house. Tile downstairs, laminate in the master, carpet for everything else. Nulook has a great selection and there wasn't anyone hounding or pressuring us for anything. Don't get me wrong, there were plenty of people available, and everyone let us know that they were there should be have any questions. We did of course have a list of questions once we narrowed our options down. Our eyes were bigger than our pockets and the team helped us find similar options in our price range. Once we decided on our selection, the process of getting our place measured and materials ordered was quick and simple. Apollo came and measured that day, and we had the tile installed the following weekend. The installers were very professional and worked their you know whats off. The tile came out better than expected. We have two little dogs and they were super-accommodating so we could let them out to do their business. The tile was done over the weekend and the laminate and carpet were done the following weekend. We couldn't have been happier with their pricing, selection, installation, and most importantly their professionalism. We would recommend them to anyone in town - hands down. My husband and I recently purchased a new home and wanted to get the flooring done before we moved in. Nulook was highly recommended. The staff at Nulook was very tentative, and knowledgeable about flooring. As a first time home buyer, I had a lot of questions, so it was so great to work with Apollo, who provided thorough and timely responses, especially with me being in a different state. We chose engineered wood by Max Windsor in Coppermine for the downstairs and carpet upstairs. They did an amazing job and completed the project within a week, which was perfectly on time before we moved in with all our furniture. The new flooring adds a modern feel to our new home now. The absolute WORST experience we have ever had with carpet and we have put new carpet in four homes! We bought new carpet and pad, paid extra for thicker pad in April 2016. They installed a basic pad; felt like walking on concrete They had to come back and rip up all the carpet and install the extra thick pad. Carpet started to buckle in every room, including hallway. They came back to stretch three additional times. Holly made me pay for a trip charge, $97.00 the last time. The lip service and horrible customer service from her must have been free. She is a horrible person to have speak to customers; rude, condescending, and unprofessional. Up until now we had spoke to Manny - he is amazing! They called the manufacturer and tried to pass it off as inferior carpet, the manufacturer representative said, "nope." The company that reps the manufacturer told my husband they stretched it the wrong way. They came for the Last time (their words), took all the furniture out of the rooms for the first time, stretched again. The bedrooms seem to be fine, the hallway and entrance to bedrooms, buckling. Again. Ugh. I called and left a message, Holly returned my phone call ( said that Apollo refused to speak to me) Holly says she doesn't know what we are doing with our less than two year old carpet that we paid over $3,000 for; we could be using the "wrong vacuum, over cleaning, it's to hot in our house, or...wait for it...it's to wet." Yes, folks these people are carpet installers and sell carpet. Holly told me they will NOT continue to keep stretching my carpet, she also told me this has NEVER happened. Nevertheless, Holly was her usual disrespectful self, cannot believe they let her speak to customers she is a awful human. There is a special place in carpet karma for her. Ick. I've used Nulook twice now! They re-floored my entire 1,400 sf townhome (including stairs) five years ago AND now they completely refloored my 1,000 sf condo. I'm super satisfied and I'm probably a little high-maintenance as a customer just 'cause I need to understand every detail but Manny has incredible patience and knowledge. I didn't believe him when he said they could install LVT over tile but here I am today, loving my new floors without the addt'l expense of having to demo the tile, rent a dumpster, deal with the mess, etc. The installers were excellent and paid attention to detail including base-boarding around a large built-in and filling in a couple of areas that had broken tile. I also appreciated how the information and detail I shared with Manny, got to the installers! They were well aware in advance of the nuances of the job when they arrived! Fifteen days into my experience with Nulook Floor my review was going to say "Buy tile but never use their installers" but now, after 30 days of dealing with them and their nonsense (to tile 300 square feet), I would NEVER step foot in this place ever again. After my horrible experience, I noticed how many hidden 1 star reviews they actually have. That sounds much more like it. If you're detail oriented and way to know the specifics - here you go. I originally picked out tile and hired them to tile my bar floor (On July 22) which I asked to have done by August 13th as I was hosting a birthday party at my house. Within a day of having had Holly measure, I also asked them to tile my pool bath and have that done by the party as well. Holly assured me that wouldn't be a problem. On Tuesday, when the tile was suppose to arrive, it took me sending text messages to Holly ALL DAY to find out if it was in. On Wednesday, she called to tell me that the installer would start on Thursday night. She kept mentioning the bathroom so I asked about the bar. She replied with "we only talked about the bathroom being done before the party" which she would continue to argue about for the next month. I had emptied out the entire bar, then had to put everything back in, then empty it again after the party. Santos, who tiled my pool bath worked for about 1 hour each day and took cigarette breaks every 15 minutes. One day, I received a voicemail stating that he couldn't come back because it had rained for 10 minutes - I'm not sure what that has to do with an enclosed bathroom. At the end of installing the bathroom tile, my toilet was sitting outside. He told me that Holly was suppose to tell me that they don't reinstall toilets and that I either had to pay him extra or hire a plumber. Nice! I have black grout all over my walls which he didn't bother to clean up. The bathroom was finished the morning of the party. Now it's Monday and and time to empty out the bar again. Santos called to let me know he would be here at 9:00 but didn't show up until 11:00. He removed the laminate flooring and then called me in to tell me that there was an additional hardwood floor under my laminate and now it would cost extra to remove that - even though I had already paid to demo the room. I asked him what was underneath the hardwood floor and he insisted that my million dollar home was sitting on plywood, not cement. I searched around the edges until I found cement under the plywood. Santos explained that this was going to be a huge job and Holly let me know it was going to be $2500 more than the $3200 I was paying to tile 300 square feet! Santos spent an hour and a half hand sawing a section of hardwood and using a crowbar to lift the wood. He said that it was going to be so much work and he was going to need additional guys (even though he walked 5 guys through my house that morning ONLY to deliver tile - perhaps they should have stuck around). So of course, he left for the day. That night, my husband pulled up the hardwood floor and the subfloor in about 15 minutes - with a shovel. When I called Holly upset the next morning she insisted on removing Santos from the job and she was also going to deduct the money I paid him to install the toilet from his paycheck. Lovely! The next installer she sent out was no better. He left my subfloor sitting in front of my home for 5 days when he promised me that it wouldn't be there for more than 1 day. On Monday he never showed up and I had to text around to find out he wasn't coming to work that day. I have 5 extra boxes of tile leftover from the bar which is excessive and grout stains all over my bar walls. This was a horrible experience and I highly suggest you look elsewhere. read more

I had a water loss at my house, caused damages to my entire 1st floor which included the flooring and cabinets. When the incident first happened, I was told by several contractors that the cabinets would take 6 - 8 weeks to arrive. I was pretty frustrated becuz its hard to live without a kitchen in normal circumstance, and not to mention during this pandemic. When I reached out to Nulook, I didn't expect much and thinking i will probably have to wait as well. A few hours after the contractor's inspection and assessment, he called me and we met up at his shop to look at materials. Cabinets were ordered after i signed the contract. Repairs started almost right away and everything was done within 3 weeks, the finished works were excellent. I could not be happier with Nulook. All workers were very respectful and skillful. Very unprofessional service. I had them come to do an estimate on December30th, that same day I went into the office and picked my material. I still have not received my estimate. I have called three times and received three excuses. The last time I called they claimed they were working on it right then and I would hear something from them that day that was two weeks ago. If I had written this review when I first had my flooring installed about 4 1/2 years ago, laminate in all the common areas and carpet in the bedrooms, I would have given them 5 starts. Yes, there were a few issues at that time but they were quickly resolved. After a couple of years the carpeting in all 3 bedrooms started to buckle. The carpeting I had had in my house for almost 20 years had never buckled or needed stretched. Every room needs stretched and 2 rooms have limited foot traffic. This is inexcusable after only a couple of years but from the other reviews I've read, apparently a pretty common problem with NuLook's carpet installation. We purchased laminate that we were told was water resistant. This was important to us as this flooring was also going in our kitchen. We have numerous pets and with water dishes and "accidents" knew that there would be liquid on the floor from time to time. I would never call the flooring we got water resistant. Any liquids that have been on the floor have been cleaned up in a reasonable period of time yet we have sections that are obviously buckled and the laminate has started peeling at the seams. This happened within the first couple of years. We were just busy with life and didn't follow up on it and that's on us. The flooring supposedly has a 30 year warranty but I have no idea what it covers as in checking my paperwork I have no information on it. I sent an email to NuLook weeks ago asking who to contact regarding warranty issues and to see if my floor is covered and got no response. Disappointing. read more

AVOID THIS BUSINESS!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION! Especially if you are BIG on GOOD COMMUNICATION! I was just mind blown on how a business can be this unprofessional and horrible with their communication process. If you go on their "lowest rated" drop down menu here on Yelp....you will see how most of all of their low rated reviews are pretty much about them not responding and communicating poorly. Initially when I saw these reviews, I definitely did hesitate if I should start business with them. However, I decided to give them a benefit of the doubt as their pricing was reasonable. But wow...DO I WISH I trusted those reviews and moved along with another company. If so, I'm sure my floors would be done by now. Long story short, we got to the point where we put a 50% deposit in to get our guest bathroom floors done, and Manny scheduled us for our installment date for Monday Oct 25th with a 8am-10am window. My husband got the day off of work for this day and waited for them to show up. However NO CALL NO SHOW. So he called NULOOK and asked about the NO CALL NO SHOW, and the gentlemen that answered the phone seemed to have no idea what was going on and told him that he would have Manny give my husband a call. Hours went by, still NO CALL NO SHOW. Therefore, my husband reached out to me (I am at work). During my lunch break, I call NULOOK to ask about the issue. The gentlemen that answers my call says the exact same thing he told my husband and says someone will call me to give me the reason behind a NO CALL NO SHOW. Hours go by again, and I am about to leave work, and there is still no call from them. SO, I attempt to call them again after work (third time calling), and Shannon picks up and I explain the whole situation again. She tells me its about our materials being held up in California... SO my thought at this point is....WHY COULDN'T THEY BE PROFESSIONAL ENOUGH TO GIVE MY HUSBAND A CALL TO TELL US THIS PIECE OF INFORMATION...so that he is not waiting around for them all day!!! AND WHY DID IT TAKE 4 CALLS IN TOTAL FROM US TO GET THIS INFORMATION?!!!!!! MINDBLOWN! Next, I ask Shannon what we can do then to move forward, like what is our next action plan? And she informs me that either way if the materials come in that day or not she will call me before the end of day...BUT DID I GET THAT CALL...??? ABSOLUTELY NOT. The next morning, I called their store and another gentlemen picks up and had to re-explain the whole situation again...and at this point...I just wanted my money back. That afternoon, my refund was sent via my email by Shannon... It took them couple of hours to refund my deposit back...but couldn't just give us a phone call to reschedule our initial installment (if materials was the issue) OR just to simply to explain the situation to us (so that we are not waiting around all day, and our "day off from work" doesn't go to waste). I am just so perplexed by their business model and how they run things here. read more

BUYER BEWARE!! Took almost 7 months to do a small laundry room. Between their internal politics (arguments between the project manager and the Forman) too many no shows to even count after I rearranged my work schedule to be at home for them and a new crew every time they did show up so I had to explain the project many many times. Love the service. We came in at about 5:30--- we thought the store closed at 6, but apparently they close at 5. Apollo welcomed us in like it was 3:00 in the afternoon, didn't even mention that they were closed or try to rush us out. It looks like a pretty small store, but there is another room with more options, although when you walk in --- there are already lots of options to look at... it's almost overwhelming! Options are great, but not when you're trying to decide on you're lifetime floors and aren't good at making decisions! The great thing about their customer services is the knowledge Apollo had about everything! All our questions were answered w/out any extra crap that we didn't need to know-- or sales pitches. It was just strait forward information and tips on how to choose. [Even told us NOT to buy a particular wood that I chose because they were going to pull it off the floor and discontinue the sale.] Apollo gave us pricing on the spot- gave us quotes for the job we needed done really quickly for a couple different options we chose, and even told us that if we needed to come in to look some more to just give him a call if it's after 5:00. Walked into their showroom... it was quick, simple, and about 20% less than the lowest quote I received. Their installs are usually Mon-Sat... but I offered to throw a $100 tip if the guys could do it Sunday. Their installer said sure... We moved into our home in 2009 and got rid of the carpet and placed wood flooring. We love the wood floors! We did most of the house except for the 3 unoccupied bedrooms. We figured we could budget for it later and leave the carpet there for now. Well, we are now expecting our first little one and are in a mad dash to get his nursery done. We knew we wanted the wood floors for his nursery because it's so much cleaner & easier to maintain than carpet. We went back to the same company we originally purchased the floors from but they did not have any in stock. We went shopping around at other places and it was quite expensive and the wood was not exactly the same. We finally found the exact product at Nulook and they were able to give us a great price and have it shipped in a timely manner. The transaction was seamless. They were professional & friendly. I read a lot of yelp reviews before deciding on nulook and I have to say I am so very happy I decided to go with them. We bought a new house with white carpets that were horribly stained. We called Nulook and the next day they were here measuring for an estimate for laminate wood flooring. Nulook had so many different types and colors of flooring to choose from at great prices! We ordered our choice and Holly told us it would take a week to be shipped to the store, then take 24-48 hrs at our house to "settle". This was fine with us, but 3 days later they called that the flooring was in. They brought it over and the next day it started getting installed. Much faster than we first thought! Our installation team was Eric and his partner and they were very friendly and very efficient. The floors were even more beautiful than I thought possible. Eric did an amazing job. The floors, the trim, everything is absolutely gorgeous and perfectly installed. They were extremely clean and after each room was done they washed down the floors and baseboards. They never even left a trace of dust or dirt anywhere I am very happy with this company and their impeccable work & professionalism. We removed first floor carpet, tile and baseboards and replaced with pvc waterproof floors and upgraded baseboards. We are pleased with the results and glad Angel talked us into the waterproof floors. With a St Bernard dog, we know it will hold up for a long time. Overall the price, customer service and results have just been on point. Our floors turned out better than what we expected. We will definitely use Nulook again to replace our upstairs carpet and bathroom remodel in the future. read more

I had called everyday and check on them for my flooring estimate. They even made stop by at their store for the estimates and I drove 30minutes for that and i never received an estimate from them even after waiting for a week. Very bad lazy service, unresponsive and total don't care attitude even if I'm ready to give them an $25k worth contract. read more
