This is a great little breakfast & lunch cafe. Staff is friendly serving delicious eats. Lots of interesting twists to traditional breakfast items. You've got to check out this hidden gem in the heart of Avalon Park.

I had a delicious breakfast here after landing at MCO! To start, complimentary sweet dough croquettes were brought to the table. They were warm and fresh and had great flavor. After looking over the menu, I decided on the bagel ink sandwich. The NYer in me was saying no as bagels aren't good anywhere other than NY...but I was intrigued! Think a BEC....but PRESSED. It was so good! Did it taste like a NY bagel? No. But it was tasty. Everything went together so well. The bacon, the cheese, and the egg..so good! It is their signature item here and I can see why! It came with a side of breakfast potatoes that were yummy as well. Service was wonderful!

Second time having brunch at Nuno's! Busy spot in Avalon Park. We enjoy sitting outside. Great staff, mimosas and pancakes. I had the banana pancakes.

Nuno's cafe was highly recommended to me from a fellow food lover and I just had to see for myself. I'm so glad we went! The food, the service, the location, the mimosas.... 10/10. I'm already dreaming of the next time I'll get to have an omelette again. I love that it's in such a perfect spot that we decided to sit outside and just enjoy the weather and the views of the lake right across the street.

Avalon Park's best brunch is at Nuno's Cafe. Located in downtown Avalon, this cafe is a small storefront with inside and outside seating. I was greeted by Natalia and it wasn't long until we were seated outside on a beautiful, cool morning. Our server was Ashley, she was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were given some warm croquettes for the table as she read us the specials. I ordered a dry mimosa to start (you can choose between dry or sweet) and it is served in a cute little champagne flute. Usually I get the ever popular bagelini, but to switch it up I chose one of the specials which was a bacon, egg and cheese croissant served with their home fries. Soon the food was flowing while Frank Sinatra was playing in the background My croissant was just so light and fluffy accompanied by crispy bacon and melty cheese on a fresh egg this sandwich was absolutely perfect!! We brought our friends here and they had great meals. The bagelini did not disappoint and the eggs benedict was perfect. Please note that since egg prices have soared, they are adding a surcharge for any dish with egg. There is a sign on the door that indicates this so please factor this in when reviewing your bill. This place is worth the wait for brunch and the staff is ever so delightful. I am a huge fan and will be back soon!

We always have such a great breakfast here. The Bagelini is my favorite and I've started getting it with sausage instead of bacon.

The whole coffee flight concept is an awesome idea! Especially to coffee lovers who want to try more than one thing. A really, really solid idea that more places should pick up on. This is honestly what impressed me the most. Also, they're really creative about their coffee options. I love that there is a coquito latte, and initially that was what I was going to order but then I saw an iced nutella foam latte on there and that won my vote. I'm not really sure what i was expecting. It was beautifully presented and I love that it was not sweet, it was just right. The consistency however was more like a milkshake rather than an iced coffee and after having half of it I was already over it; its very rich. It's a small place with indoor and outdoor seating. I like that they have that Morro design inside just like in Puerto Rico. Service was friendly and timely. I do plan to come back again and try one of their sandwiches.

This is a delivery review. The Kobe Burger uses Australian Wagyu which is definitely beefier than standard ground beef and a bit different flavor than Angus. This burger was topped with Swiss, lettuce, sautéed onions, tomato, and I think sautéed mushrooms. The "problem" I have with so many topics is that it masks the higher end beef flavor. To me, if you're serving really good beef, go easy on the toppings. But I digress. I ordered it medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. Overall a very tasty burger and I will definitely come back just for that. The side of fries seem to be twice fried and maybe a touch over done. But still fine. The Chicken Parm was top quality and executed perfectly. The pasta was overcooked but that could be from the extra time for delivery continuing to cook and steam the pasta. So, maybe it would have been perfect in the bistro. Overall, a pretty good experience and I definitely want to head back. One detractor for dine in, for us at least, is this is a very lively place and the music is typically loud. So if you want a quiet meal, this isn't the place for you! And that has kept us away a couple times while walking around AP looking for lunch.

I was in the area visiting family and wanted to grab some coffee before the road trip home to South Florida. A local business is better than a Starbucks. Bonus is it's my favorite bakery in Orlando so I'm here for it. This Light on the Sugar is located next to the Regal Cinemas in Waterford Lakes. Squished between Charley's Philly Cheesesteaks and Zen Dumplings. What I dislike about this location is the wooden gazebo they built directly in front of these stores. It totally hides the name of the stores and it's not appealing. This made it hard to find too. They should honestly get rid of the gazebos, these poor stores may be losing potential business because people can't locate it. This bakery is the smallest one compared to the original two locations I've been to. It's ok because they still sell most of the same items, just less of a selection due to limited space. They offer the popular cream puffs, pastries, tarts, merch and drinks. On this particular day, I only got the Pistachio Latte and an Americano. My husband likes a good simple coffee with no bells and whistles. The other stuff is too much for him. Ha. I really debated getting pastries for the road but I was just at the Winter Park location yesterday and got an assortment so I was good on pastries. My Pistachio Latte was good, but it was a tad on the sweet sweeter side. I had my husband mix some of his Americano with my latte so it balanced out a little bit more for both of us. All in all, nice new and intimate location with a few tables indoors and outdoors. I still prefer the other beautiful and more aesthetic locations. Good thing this bakery wasn't here when I lived here, I would be broke! Lol.
