We now live in North Carolina and came to town for a wedding. We had to get our fix of NY style pizza and were not disappointed! All 4 slices were awesome. The crust was crispy and had a great texture! The sauce had a very nice flavor, and cheese was perfect. The atmosphere is that of your usual pizza parlor. The service was very good and everyone was very nice. If it is pizza you desire don't pass this place up.

Just tried this place for the first time and it is amazing!! It is definitely my new pizzeria. The Monty pizza and the pepperoni pizza is a must try. The staff is so kind and made my day. Highly recommend this place for anyone who enjoys fresh tasting pizza. I cannot wait to try more things from here!

Our server, Willem, was attentive and knowledgeable regarding the menu. The menu is quite different from our last visit in 2024 - better organized and easier to read. We atarted by ordering a Caesar salad and Tagliatelle Bolognese to share at the table as an appetizer - quite nice and a good start. Charlie and I both chose the Creekstone Ribeye ( I opted for the Horseradish Creme Fraiche) and our wives both chose the Crab Crusted Halibut. all entrees came out cooked to order and piping hot. We also shared an order of creamed spinach. No dessert as we were doing that at home, but the coffee hit the spot. JS is BYOB so don't forget to bring your wine. Defintely a destination restaurant, and we will be back!

I was especially looking forward to ordering the ribeye and lit up instantly when the server listed it as one of the specials. The server shared that he would need to collect the orders for all of our courses at the same time which was fine with me. I actually had more confidence in the timing of everything for that reason. Our server had a delightful energy particularly at the beginning of our visit. After we placed our orders, everything began to fall apart. It did get noticeably busy since we first arrived, but we ultimately waited for our main entrees for over 3 hours. 3 hours. The table ordered the charred octopus and the oysters to start. The oysters hit the table fairly quickly, but then we began to gradually notice how long it was taking for the octopus to come. I had only a slither of the octopus so that I could say I tried it. Everyone at the table raved about the taste. I did, however, agree that their oysters were delicious especially when dressed with a little bit of mignonette, lemon, horseradish and a touch of Tabasco sauce. I'm excited to now report that I am a fan of fresh oysters from the east coast, because apparently the coast matters. The table also ordered the canaletto stuffed with mascarpone, parmesan and another cheese, langostines and lobster with morel mushroom cream sauce, garnished with truffles. I passed on this one also as it was too adventurous for my taste buds; although, their delicious bread and our drinks did distract me for a little while. The restaurant is BYOB, so we had our wine to keep us company while we observed other tables come and go. We eventually asked to see the manager and was told there wasn't a manager on duty which was either untrue or a very poor decision on the part of the owners considering it was a Friday evening. Having someone occasionally check in with our table may have also helped to take the pressure off of the server who may have gotten overwhelmed or decided to prioritize other tables. Having a manager offer a personal apology may have helped us feel less forgotten about. After the three hour mark, we decided this was enough. I didn't have much to eat at this point, but I wasn't at all worried initially since I was there for the main event, the ribeye. I stopped a hostess who was walking past our table and asked for the manager. We were again told the manager is not here but can be called, if needed. I simply replied, "Please do". Shortly afterwards, I noticed our server who at this time was standing by the host stand briskly walk into the kitchen and then return to our table with our plates. I sent the food back which was a decision that was supported by everyone at the table. Let me tell you, that was a difficult decision to make, but I also was ready to call it a night. Our mood had changed, and I truly felt like we were derservant of having the same experience as everyone else that night. Our server apologized for his part to play in the ordeal which I appreciated since I know his intention was never malicious, but unfortunately we had to call this night a bust. He offered us dessert on the house, and our entire meal was comped which we felt was an appropriate resolution. I ordered the Cinnamon Toast Crunch bread pudding which was a favorite. Very good. Jasper Stone is a beautiful establishment with decorative yellow and white floral arrangements throughout the dining area. It is clearly a popular restaurant and has many positive reviews. I regret that I could not have a comparable experience.

Lunch time on a weekday seems to be the perfect time to dine here. I enjoyed everything I ordered, from appetizer to dessert. I started with the calamari which arrived fresh and hot, crispy and lightly salted, and didn't stand a chance at our table. I ordered the ribeye "Bryan style" which tops the steak with goat cheese, lemon butter, sun-dried tomatoes, and possibly parsley. I enjoy a more marbled steak, but this was a particularly fatty cut. Overall, the flavor from the toppings really came together for a well-balanced taste, mildly salty and savory. The ribeye comes with a choice of soup or salad; I chose the Caesar salad, which was brought out prior to my entree. It's a good, crunchy salad made with real anchovies. Making sure to leave room for dessert, I ordered the peach and blackberry crostata which is an open faced tart served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I ordered it to-go, and naturally my ice cream melted before I made it home. I was mostly interested in the peaches anyway which I attacked while waiting for the check. I will just leave it up to my imagination how it would have tasted with the ice cream. Our server was great, attentive, and was available for anything we needed. I would definitely return to this location.

I called late morning(Saturday) and was able to get a reservation at 5pm. Upon entering we were greeted by two large birthday parties in progress; for a 100 year old woman and for a 75 year old woman. However, we were seated immediately and brought fresh crusty bread and spicy olives, and our wine was opened. Our waiter, Joe, told us the evening specials and gave us a chance to look at the menu. To my disappointment, no gnocchi amongst the regular and specials. We decided upon entrees and when Joe returned I mentioned my and my wife's disappointment at the absence of gnocchi. Joe excused himself and went into the kitchen returning shortly. He said the chef would make us an order of gnocchi even though it was not on the menu. He said the chef would prepare it any way we wanted; this in a jam packed Saturday night restaurant. Now that's service! We told him to surprise us with chef's choice and we would share the order as an appetizer. When he returned it was with a large platter of gnocchi with small potato cubes, and sweet acorn squash in a savory, slightly tomatoey, cream sauce. Each item perfectly cooked with al dente precision. Our grilled shrimp and frenched pork chop entrees also perfectly cooked. Joe also brought out complimentary Ice cream and candle to accompany our cappuccino and espresso. We both found it to be a great dinner! Thank you Joe and thank you chef!

I have been standing here watching you for the past 30 mins and saw you make my pie 10 min after I walked in! Finally get the pie 5 min after that and they offer me a free 2 liter for my wait. Fair enough, I'll take it. Then I get home and open the pie box and it looks like this! Horrible undercooked slop! I call them up and tell them I want a new pie. He says no problem and will deliver it to me, where I literally live 2 min down the road. 40 min later, no show so I call back. He says he sent the driver 10 min ago and should be there any min. I give it another 30 min and still no show. I call back up again and said, if my pie isn't here in the next 2 min, I'm coming back for my money. He said he will call the delivery driver. 10 more minutes go by and I just go back to the restaurant. Guess what, the delivery guy is there with my pie!! Absolutely ridiculous!! For those of you who have not been there, Camillo's is more of an Italian restaurant, than a pizzeria. It has a pretty large seating area in the restaurant part of the building. It looks to my untrained eye that they had some extra room and decided to put it in a pizza oven near the entrance. From what I've described, I had the feeling this was going to be a disaster. But there was also a lot of foot traffic and diners in there which always make you optimistic. I ordered a large Sicilian (square) pie and a large pepperoni (round) pie. The crust on the sicilian pie had that great sicilian pizza flavor. It is thick and very chewy, but surprisingly light. If you are a cheese and sauce lover, this pie is for you. The cheese is fresh and tasty and is definitely premium. The sauce is well seasoned and very tangy and delicious. My opinion is they should probably cook it a little more because with all that cheese and sauce, there's not a lot of crispiness on any of the crust. I'd probably recommend eating it with a knife and fork because it can be that messy. The pepperoni pie that I ordered what was surprisingly thick. Again, this offering is of the thick and hearty variety. This pie, however, was not soggy and the slices stand up. It's not exactly crispy and crunchy, but it's not limp. The sauce is definitely the star here. Overall I was pleasantly surprised. I want to go back and sample some of the restaurant offerings. Overall Rating: B

The breadsticks and especially my favorite creamy Alfredo sauce is why I was there! The breadsticks as always were warm, buttery and right out of the oven. The Alfredo sauce was creamy, thick and absolutely scrumptious. I even asked for a second bowl! That being said, compared to Italian restaurants like Luca's and Dusal's on Route 27 -- frankly speaking, there IS no comparison. Olive Garden is the Applebee's of Italian cuisine.
