My go to place for fresh sugarcane drink around San Jose. I always stop by when I around the area. It is inside food court. So far thier sugarcane is the cheapest I find so far and it is very fresh. There is no extra for add on like add kamquat as some other sugarcane shop charge extra. You can see them squeeze the sugarcane on the back. The order is ready pretty quickly. If you like sugarcane and around the area, you can give it a try. In the food court there are other food stall so you can have meal and sugarcane. Other good thing is they accept credit card and no extra fee.

I don't know many sugarcane juice places around here but I saw this when visiting the food court. I have been obsessed ever since! Their regular sugarcane juice tastes amazing with a slight orange citrusy flavor. The cup portions are great as well. Service is always fast.

Whenever a couple of my friends and I are around Story or Tully in San Jose, it always feels like getting some sugarcane juice inevitably makes its way into our plans. What to do after lunch? Sugarcane juice. A pick me up after picking up groceries? Sugarcane Juice. Just because we're in San Jose? Sugarcane juice! Although we usually head to another shop in Lion Plaza for sugarcane juice, we decided to check out Nuoc Mia Bach Dang after seeing them while ordering from Bo Ne Phu Yen in the food court. By comparison, the menu here is a bit wider and, honestly, a bit more interesting. In addition to the aforementioned sugarcane juice, they also have a mix of fresh juices, smoothies, and teas with an assortment of toppings you can drop into your drinks. That being said, we obviously knew what we were going to get before we even came here. As the worker handed me my SUGARCANE JUICE, the first thing that struck me was how it looked paler than others I've had. However, in terms of taste, this wasn't too shabby. Although it did feel a little thin (diluted?), it wasn't necessarily the worst thing, as it didn't taste quite as sweet. Plus, I thought the slice of orange added a nice acidity to balance the flavor as well. While they aren't quite as good as my go-to spot in the complex (CD Bakery), Nuoc Mia Back Dang's sugarcane juice is more than sufficient to get the job done, especially if we're going to be eating in the food court again. Plus, I'd be also curious about trying their other drink options as well one day!

I had high expectations before coming in to try their sugarcane drink since so many people raved about it. I didn't realize that they were located inside a food court until I was looking on the maps. I even noticed that almost every table had one of their drinks on their table. The place reminded me of a mom and pop shop. They have a variety of drinks available, but I decided to try their most popular sugarcane drink. I tasted more of kumquat rather than sugarcane, which was a bit disappointing. I wished I knew sooner, so I could have asked for just sugarcane. I'm curious if they add other ingredients to their other drinks as well.

I had to order a durian smoothie since durian is my favorite, Very delicious and reshing. The staff is kinda limited in English but I was able to point and order what I wanted. They accept credit card. Didnt notice they are famus for their sugarcane juice. I gotta order it next time im in the food court. A huge variety of drinks and selection,

Nuoc Mia Bach Dang is located in the Food Court area in Lion Plaza. Small little businesses with a shared dining area. The service is nice, helpful and friendly. It had been decades since I was last here and mostly it was che desserts, and a couple of food stalls. Now, it's mostly food stalls and one drink place. Sugarcane Juice (4/5). Choice of 16oz or 32oz drink. The sugarcane juice came with an orange slice. I am not a expert here but I thought it was refreshing and sweeter than I've had in the past at another place I tried. Tamarind Drink (4/5) - they asked if I wanted to add peanuts to it. It already comes with some beans in the drink. Its a good balance between tart and sweet. The beans were an interesting and enjoyable twist. Support your local business.

Best place to get sugar cane juice! $20 for a half gallon and $7.50 for this large cup! I drank some before taking a picture because it's so good. They barely put any ice as well!

Large sugar cane in Jan 2026 ($8.25) had dense color and tastes a more like tangerine than sugar cane.

Price keeps increasing and quality decreasing. Prices just increased from last month, used to be $7.50, now it's $8.25 for a large and $6.50 for small up from $5.75. The drink looks darker in color and tastes more like tangerine than sugar cane. Disappointing. At least they still don't charge a bogus fee for credit card or "cash only" like the other places there. Everything is getting more expensive, just wished the quality would too or at least stay the same.

I really enjoyed that this place had a huge selection of drinks ranging from smoothies, teas, milk, milk teas. I guess they weren't able to make smoothies today so we opted for the Salted Calamansi, Corn Milk, Sugar Cane, and the Jasmine Rose Tea (which came with chia seeds, coconut jelly, other toppings). All were delicious and not too sweet which for Asians is a high compliment. The Salted Calamansi wasn't as salty as other salted lemon drinks that you'd find at Vietnamese establishments, it had thin slices of real calamansi fruit so it'd get stuck in the straw. I didn't mind chewing on the rinds but for others that are sensitive to it, it might give your sip an ever so slight bitter taste. The Corn Milk was interesting and exactly what you'd think it'd taste like. It's as if you boiled corn in milk and cooled it over ice. So it's rich in that sweet corn flavor, and it's refreshing for a hot day like today! The Sugar Cane was probably the most surprising for me, I've literally never had sugar cane that tasted creamy! The texture to me reminded me of drinking soy milk, there was this lingering earthy sweetness that stays in your mouth. I really enjoyed it but my sister only thought it was aite. I recommend trying it, this was the most unique drink for me and it was definitely the most sweet. The Jasmine Rose Tea had all the extra toppings like the chia seeds, crystal boba, coconut jelly, etc. So this was the most fun to drink since chewing keeps me preoccupied. It makes the drink last a lot longer. Total for these four drinks was $26.50 for the small sizes. They offer a large size as well for $1.75 more per cup. All in all enjoyed this place and would definitely come back whenever I'm in the Lion Plaza!

While waiting for our order from Bo Me Phu Yen, we saw that almost every table had a sugarcane drink! We tracked it down to this spot and saw that a regular size cup was $5.75 and a large size cup was $7.50. We decided to try it out since it seemed so popular. I haven't had sugarcane much before so I'm not exactly sure what's considered good. But I really liked the drink. It wasn't overly sweet and had what seemed like orange added to it to give a citrus kick. The cup was huge and I like that they did not have too much ice in it. Service was quick. I ordered the drink and got it within 5 minutes. They have a ton of other drinks as well.

don't seem to see fresh sugarcane juice often, was pleasantly surprised to find it here! good flavor but it was orange forward. on the sweeter side. fairly fast service as well

This gets a five star from me because it is just that good!! I came to the food court to try bo ne but saw that everyone was ordering this drink to go with their various hot meals. Upon further investigation I saw it was fresh sugarcane juice! I got the smaller size and watched them make it. That first sip was magic. It was refreshing and sweet with the slight tang of the orange slice they put in. Having not had sugarcare juice in years, this brought back memories of night market adventures in Asia. The people working the counter were very nice asking if I liked it. I loved it! So glad to have seen this place on my visit to the food court.

Enter through the front entrance of the Grand Century Mall, turn left and make your way down the hall to the food court. Among the colorful array of food shops, is a bright green shop that is Nuoc Mia Ninh Kieu where a silvery machine to the left is seen squeezing out sugarcane juice! I shouldn't say that I hate carrots -- that's unbecoming of me -- but I strongly dislike carrots. This is one of the only ways I would enjoy carrots: nuoc mia ca-rot! I rarely order anything else from here but I would encourage you to explore their menu and come back for more! Nuoc mia ca-rot has a wonderful blend of mild earthiness of the carrot and the grassy undertones of sweetness from the sugarcane. It takes the edge off of what would otherwise be a very sweet drink! I would much prefer nuoc mia over boba milk tea (particularly on hot, summer days!). Sugarcane juice is a bit pricey here, but I chalk it up to this is a specialty shop just for nuoc mia which lends a certain nostalgia for Vietnam. There are versions of the drink here that you can't get anywhere else. If you want to experience a taste of Vietnamese culture, Nuoc Mia Ninh Kieu is a great place to start! Try them out!

Ninh Kieu is pretty well-known for their fresh pressed sugarcane juice (made when you order!!) and also got a bunch of specialty healthy juice combos. I went on a Saturday around lunch time and it wasn't too busy, waited like 5 mins for two drinks. My all-time go-to is the OG sugarcane juice with kumquat... soooo refreshing, sweet with that little citrus kick, just hits every time. I also brought my bestie with me and it was her first time trying sugarcane juice ever, and she loves strawberry so I got her that flavor... tell me why she got OBSESSED. She literally finished the whole thing in 30 mins and was still talking about it 2 days later saying she was craving it again lol. Price is pretty average compared to other spots, nothing crazy, but the quality is always consistent and fresh which I appreciate.

It was a Wednesday and Devin and I were looking to make it a productive work day. We stopped by later in the afternoon. There is ample seating but most of the booths were occupied when we arrived so we sat at a table. Club music was being played loudly so working here would not be ideal if you have to present in meetings. The tropical paradise fruit tea would've been better with a topping or two, but in an attempt to cut down on calories consumed I've began getting drinks without toppings. Unfortunately fruit tea without toppings is just not the same, but this was totally my choice and on me. The WiFi worked well. There are some outlets under the booths but none at the tables. I've been to other Rose Tea Lounge locations and I'd say that this one is definitely more club-like than others. Not the ideal place to work remotely by any means, but that's not to say that the drinks are bad or ambiance is poor. If you're looking to chat and catch up with friends, this spot would be a good choice.

I remembered Hien Khanh Dakao opened recently and decided to stop by. The inside of the shop is small, though the seating arrangement inside looked roomy with bar seating against the window, tables, and even a bench. The decor and ambiance were very floral and inviting as well. The shop was completely empty when I arrived aside from a lady behind the counter who appeared to be eager to take my order. Since soursop is somewhat hard to find on a menu anywhere, I decided to order the Soursop Snowhite under blended drinks (I'm not sure if the misspelling was intentional or not). This was one of the two most expensive items on the menu and came out to $10.95 after tax, which is quite pricey for a simple smoothie without anything added to make the price justifiable. My drink was ready in about five minutes. If I had to guess, the cup size used was 16 oz with overflow in the cap. The drink had the soursop flavor I was hoping for and the texture was thick, but fortunately not overly thick that it was hard to suck out of a straw. However, I only noticed smalls bits of soursop as if only a small amount of real fruit was used and the rest of the flavoring was artificial or filler. For $10.95 I was definitely expecting more in terms of quality and I felt ripped off getting this smoothie. Perhaps I should've played it safe and ordered a che dessert or one of their special drinks. I'm not sure if Hien Khanh Dakao gets busy during peak dining hours or on weekends, but I could see why I was the only customer during the time of my visit. I think I would've had a better experience if the pricing was not much higher than drinks from other businesses in Vietnam Town.
