Cute little place that is much more than burgers and fries. Most of got just that and missed the two other menus with Asian rice bowls and Mediterranean dishes. I went with the Arizona Cheesesteak where Hatch chiles liven up the sandwich. It was a monster. The shoestring fries were a little dry oddly. It is right across from the school so be prepared for a big lunchtime rush of kids. I don't know if I will ever be back in Globe but I would return to try the other menus.

I had the vegan Beyond burger with added avocado and it was prepared perfectly! It was big, but I ate the whole thing because it was delicious. The shoestring fries were just ok. Cute little patio and fast service even though they were very busy.

The whole place is decorated with cool, nerdy stuff. The warp pipe was the best in my opinion. We sat outside on the patio/porch area and were greeted by such a friendly server. I got a cheeseburger with shoestring fries and my husband got the Raising Arizona. We wanted to try the peanut butter shake, but they were sold out The burgers were both delicious. They were fresh and hot without a bunch of fancy. The fries were crisp and tasty. Everything was perfect. Portions are very generous, I couldn't finish!! Best hidden gem in Globe. See you next time as we FOR SURE will be back.

They're super nice, and every time I come to town, I keep giving them more chances. But the burgers are way too meaty, way too wet, and the bun is just mush. And fries taste like they came out of a freezer bag. I really want to like it. But so far not great, ever.

This is our go-to spot for food anytime we drive through Globe. The burgers are fresh and incredibly flavorful and the fries are exactly what you want to add to the meal. The outdoor patio has an eclectic mesh of Mario and Star Wars (search for some hidden gems hiding in the rafters)! Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food does take longer than fast food, but it is well worth the wait!

What I love about Yelp! is the ability to connect others with great, little local places! We were driving through Globe on the way home from Lake Roosevelt and needed a bite to eat. We looked up "burgers" and we were so glad it lead us to Nurd Berger! We had excellent service. We loved the small, community feel of the diner inside. Our food was great! I had the Marston burger which had jalapeños, an onion ring, bacon, cheese and bbq sauce and it was really tasty. My only tweak I could have asked for was the burgers were cooked to "doneness" and I prefer medium, but that to be said that it was juicy! My onion rings were cooked perfectly and hot and fresh. Worth the stop in!

What a hole in the wall. The food was fantastic, and the environment is unique. The servers were humble and accommodating. Truly a diamond of a spot!

This is a favorite Road Trip stop for our family. Love the diverse menu and all the nostalgia/memorabilia decor. It's like if comic con had its own small diner.. I got a Greek chicken wrap and my family all enjoyed different burgers, fries, and shakes and no complaints here on the food or service.

    Caramel shake, it was awesome

This was a really great burger. If you're ever in Globe, Arizona, there are a lot of good places to eat, and this is one of them.

The service is alway fast and friendly and they will happily guide through your selection and answer all your questions. The portions are huge! The restaurant is very clean and comfortable. So far I've had the Bistro Burger a couple times, the Curly Joe, onion rings, okra, cole slaw, the chips and pulled pork and the brisket nachos. Andrea has has the hangover burger and the midstate burger with cottage cheese and shared in the chips and nachos. She also stole huge bites of my burgers and several of my onion rings! Everything has been awesome! So awesome, int fact, we stopped on the way uo north to Alpine from Gilbert, and decided to stop in again the following day in the way home! The Copper Bistro great excuse to get out of the valley for the Phoenicians!

We trekked to Globe, AZ to view Besh Ba Gowah…read more We also planned to set out at such a time so that we might try a local eatery. Our choices were Copper Bistro and Nurd Burger Cafe and for no particular reason we decided on Coper Bistro. We were surprised and richly rewarded by their cheese burger, fries and onion rings. I may have made mention in other reviews that a burger patty must protrude beyond the bun in order to attract my attention. This patty protruded well beyond the brioche bun and, better yet, it was hand crafted, not pulled out of a box of 300 other patties that were shaped exactly the same. And the beef was flavorful. We both enjoyed the fries and onion rings. Our meal was so filling we didn't eat dinner that night. Oh, the staff are super friendly, attentive and downright welcoming. If you find yourself in Globe, you could do a lot worse that supping at Copper Bistro.

We were in full shade. The owner handled this as well as our order and bringing out the food. He was friendly and engaging. The place is cute inside and was clean. The only disappointment was that the half pound of brisket I got was chopped rather than sliced. I am sure that is on me for not realizing it would come that way. Regardless, the meat was lean and tender and has a nice smokey taste. I prefer not to use sauce and this meat didn't need any. The burnt ends (both beef and pork belly) were good but I would stick to the brisket. My husband got a baked potato and it was loaded up nicely. The fries were very good and served piping hot. The order size was generous. If you find yourself in or near Globe, this place is worth a stop.

I first heard about Gila Hogs BBQ from a BeardMeatsFood episode, and honestly, it looked too good…read moreto pass up. So when I found myself near Globe, I made the detour--and I'm glad I did. The place has a no-nonsense, small-town charm. You walk in and it smells like someone's been tending a smoker since sunrise. I went for the brisket and ribs combo, and it was everything I hoped for. The brisket had that perfect smoke ring and melted in my mouth, and the ribs were fall-off-the-bone with just enough bite to keep it interesting. Their house BBQ sauce is tangy with a little kick--not too sweet, not too spicy, just right. What really stood out was the portion size. It's not just generous--it's borderline ridiculous. Watching HUGE BBQ PLATTER CHALLENGE | BeardMeatsFood, I thought it might be exaggerated for the camera, but nope. They serve up serious plates. You can see why Adam (BeardMeatsFood) was sweating through that challenge. The staff were friendly and seemed genuinely proud of what they're serving. I chatted with one of the guys behind the counter who mentioned they've had folks come in just because of the YouTube video. It's cool to see a local spot get that kind of attention. If you're into food challenges, the vibe is very much like what you see in DRUNK GUY BETS BAR STAFF I'LL BREAK THE RECORD ... and THIS CHALLENGE HAS BEEN FAILED 70 TIMES! | 13TH ...--fun, a little chaotic, and full of personality. But even if you're just there for a regular meal, Gila Hogs delivers. Bottom line: if you're anywhere near Globe, AZ, and you love BBQ, this place is worth the stop. It's not polished or fancy--it's just damn good food made by people who care. So Sad this place is now closed since I was there !!!!

Gluten free eater…read more I've been here before for the hot fudge. My mom loves them and I try to avoid dairy. So my normal go to are fries. This time my husband and I wanted lunch. It went down hill from here. My husband ordered the double stack hidden valley ranch burger meal. It was so soggy that the bottom bun had disintegrated. The top bun was so hard he couldn't bend it. Appears to have been sitting out for a while. The fries were stale. The iced tea isn't my favorite brand of tea. That isn't their fault. I'm picky for good iced tea. His burger had no lettuce but without me asking (I ordered the same as his with modifications) mine came with lettuce. My order was correct. I got the same burger as my husband minus onion runs, bbq and a bun. They got all that right. Honestly that probably is part of the one star rating. I rarely get fast food to get me my order quickly and correctly. My burger had a ton of lettuce on it. The lettuce looked frozen and thawed. The ribs were discolored. It felt soggy. But it was bright green. I removed it all. The burger tasted like a frozen patty that was microwaved. I don't mind a good frozen patty, I've been to other local places that do them well. The bacon was fine and the cheese sauce was okay. To be honest it was one of the worst meals I've had in globe. We will only be returning for their ice cream items for my husband and my mom.

Finding gems like these on Yelp is what keeps me loyal to Yelp! Ive been on Yelp since 2006 (close…read moreto 20 years and well before Google maps or reviews ever existed) and without it, I would have missed out on a lot of cool and neat places like this! Thanks Yelp for helping me find 20 years of good eats, drink and fun! La Luz Del Dia means "the light of the day" in Spanish and boy is this place bright and cheery and the perfect start to a glorious and beautiful Sunday morning. You know this place is gonna be good because as I drove down the deserted road nary a car through downtown Globe and arrive at this place, you see a bunch of cars parked huddled near this place. I knew it wws gonna be good. I walk into this unassuming place and almost every table is taken at close to 9am on Sunday. There were a few seats at the counter facing the open kitchen so I made a beeline to sit down. Wait staff and customers in here are so nice and friendly! The cute girls working here are fast and efficient, and super sweet and all with a smile. I was pretty hungry as I hadn't eaten since Friday breakfast and was ready to gobble up a good breakfast. I had a chorizo burro (same as a burrito, still trying to figure out the difference) and a cup of coffee. Coffee was ok, and did the job. But, the burro was great! Southwest breakfast burritos are some of the best, and when you're in the Southwest, definitely don't pass this up to have. This burro was also huge and despite the fact I was famished, I could only eat a half of my burro. You can get red or green salsa, but since I am a spice pansy, I opted for the red, which was still more spicy than I can handle. By 9:20am, I was finished eating and ready to go. You go up to the cashier and pay there. There's a desert and drinks case by the register and lots of goodies there to choose from too. There was baklava, organized cake and brownies on offer. I also spied a chamoy pickle for sale too, here in the Southwest when the summers get so hot, having a pickle is sometimes in order to replace the salt we lose sweating so much! Overall, I loved this place! Loved the atmosphere as its kind of an old school diner, and everyone in here was a delight and the food was delicious! I'll be back again when coming thru Globe again! And you should definitely check this place out when passing thru Globe!
