This is a pretty cool burger joint. The junkyard grill is built like you're in an old garage having a burger while you work on your car. The burgers are huge. 1/3 to 1/2 pound. They have a decent amount of toppings. Strangely, two of our three burgers had toppings on one side. A little annoying but easy enough to spread them out. The green Torino has a char grilled Anaheim which was pretty decent but not at all hot. The pepper jack is probably the hottest part of the burger. Could use a little kick overall. Trunk junk is pretty solid. Both grilled onions and sautéed mushrooms are pretty good. 1/2 pound so share or bring a huge appetite. The fries are pretty good. The beer battered onion rings are the best think there. read more

I was really looking forward to my visit based on the reviews and photos, and Nutty's did not disappoint. We weren't expecting such a big crowd, but this is obviously a popular spot during lunch hour on a Sunday. The parking lot was jammed and it took about 35 minutes to get our food, but the wait was still worth it. The burger, fries and fish and chips were all delicious, and let me tell you, the onion rings were incredible, being of a portion size that is fit for splitting. One goes a long way! We were very impressed at the amount of great quality food we received for the price, and I would recommend Nutty's to anyone who's in the area looking for drive-in type food. Amazing food! The burgers were so juicy! The line was a little long but our food came out pretty fast and the service was really good and helpful! Came here upon a recommendation from a friend. This burger joint up in Arlington is tucked away just a few blocks from most of the other eateries in town. Order your food inside and they will bring it out to your car (sorry no eating inside right now). The 1/3 lb burgers are fantastic. I got the Smoke-Out burger which had great bbq and pepperjack flavor. I loved that the burger was served on a pub bun. The fries remind me of the fresh cut fries from Dick's burgers. The best item on their menu are their hand-dipped milkshakes. I was in milkshake nirvana when I took a sip of their Orange Creamsicle milkshake. Sooooo good! Update to the recent post. I stand by what I say about the food, but the staff are unbelievably rude. We went there two days ago and they were closing early for some reason. My wife and I being disabled, there was a motorcycle parked between the two handicapped parking places, making it hard to park then hard to get out of the car. When we went inside my wife mentioned to staff about the motorcycle being in the way. It was a staff person's...almost immediately, the staff were rude and stated that they were closing early and could not serve us. Now, all the doors were open, they were still serving others and there were others in line after us. I asked for a manager or someone in charge and no-one ever came out to talk with us. If this is the way that an establishment treats their customers, then we will not be back. I have seen other comments on here about the staff and the way they treat customers, maybe they need some training. After being treated the way we were, my wife and I will never be back. read more

When it was our turn to order, we stated we'd never been there before and weren't sure what the protocols were or what was included on their burgers. They have really cool, vintage decor and it's very reminiscent of the '60s & '70s--think of it like the grungy, woodsy older cousin of the popular burger place, Triple-X in Issaquah, WA. The food is pretty good! It's everything you'd expect a burger place to deliver in terms of portion size, flavor, and variety. It can be a touch greasy, but it also comes with the territory. Wait times can get a little long during the dinner rush, but it's worth it because you can really taste how fresh everything is. We like to try a new diner/grill type place especially for burgers. Nutty's did not disappoint. The burgers are fabulous, great fries and humongous crispy onion rings. Best yet were the hand dipped shakes, I had espresso, my wife had raspberry. Yes, it was busy, in fact a long line waiting to order, but worth it. As much work as they had the staff remained calm, friendly, and efficient. Also, in our case, worth the hour& 10 minute drive. Stopped by on a rainy Sunday for some lunch and was super impressed with the quality of food, service and the classic automotive decor. The fries are hand cut, onion rings are crunchy and melt in your mouth. The 1/2 pound bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions was delicious. Washed it all down with banana and Oreo cookie milkshakes. I can't believe I haven't reviewed Nutty's yet! Guys. This place is SO GOOD. We will drive 30 minutes to eat here no problem. The burgers are always amazing and the onion rings are next level! My favorite is the Green Torino! It comes with Anaheim peppers, jack cheese, cilantro mayo and the best bacon ever. The flavors are something I've never had on a burger before and I can't help but get it every time we go. My husband has tried a few different burgers like the Shelby Bleu and Trunk Junk. The Trunk Junk is HUGE. It's a delicious 1/2 lb. patty (compared to 1/3 lb. on the other burgers) topped with sauteed onions and mushrooms, cheese, and bacon. Definitely come hungry for that one. If you like onion rings, GET THEM. They're beer battered and amazing. They have hand cut fries here and while I'm not a fan of that style of fry, my husband loves them. The inside is really cool. My husband being a car guy totally geeks out in there with all of the old car and truck decor. The employees working the counter have always been really friendly even when they're slammed.
