We had a company party there. We made a reservation for 6:45pm, everyone got on time, and they serves the FIRST slice of pizza exactly 8:14pm. Almost 90 minutes late. The store wasn't crowded, but they were taking the to go orders. The pizzas are ok, nothing extraordinary. Also, we asked for desert pizzas, we ordered 5 of them and after 20 minutes, the waiter said that they couldn't make those pizzas because the fruits weren't available. Also, after everything, they charged us 18% of gratitude. I asked the waiter and she said that it would be for every table with more then 6 people. But nobody told me it before. He said another couple came into the restaurant and weren't greeted and eventually flagged down a waitress to place a to go order, she handed them 2 menus and walked away and never came back, they waited a long time and finally put the menus down and left. The whole process is a nightmare, they are so disorganized. Now for the food, it was overpriced for the amount you got and it tasted average. Waste of time and money. Someone needs to completely overhaul this business. The cheaper "pizza pizza" place across the parking lot has better food. So disappointing I really wanted to love this place. Delivered to nearby RV Park. Delivered on time and order was correct. The pizza, an extra large veggie was .01¢ short of delivery minimum so had to add a cannoli which was good. The pizza however was stuck to the top of the box! Veggies were undercooked and the cheese was gummy. This is one of the few times we threw the leftovers away. Craving pizza and with a broken foot, I couldn't drive to pickup from my local favorite(The Pie). The only 2 options for my address are Dominos and NY Pizza Patrol. Never having had NYPP before, I opted to try it. Reviews seem to be hit or miss. For me it was a miss. I ordered two 14" pepperoni pizzas and an order of garlic knots. $49 with delivery fee and driver tip. The delivery driver was pleasant...the pizza was just so-so. For $49, maybe I expected too much? NY style is thin, yep, but lightly scattered cheese and pepperoni is just skimping. I hate to compare LC pizza, but you get more for a lot less money. So extremely disappointed. My two young children and I came in tonight after 12+ hours in the car looking for some comfort food. We were excited to see this place within walking distance from our hotel. We decided to go in and give them a try! We were seated quickly, and our server was very nice. We placed our order and then the waiting began. And it continued. We watched tables fill after we placed our order, and then within minutes they had appetizers... then their full dinners... over the course of 20 minutes we did not receive any food. Then, we finally received my 2 year olds Mac and cheese, and then nothing. I waved down my server and just asked that our order be boxed up when it was done. My children and exhausted, and we were extremely hungry. The server apologized and stated that our personal pan pizzas usually don't take this long. That is a statement I agree with, seeing as though the tables around us had MULTIPLE full size pizzas delivered to them before our toddlers Mac and cheese. I don't fault the server at all, as our ticket showed she input our order within moments of us placing it. So overall, we waited over 45 minutes for no food, and still paid full price. So sad to have this sort of experience, when we could have spent a fraction on better pizza with faster service else where. read more

Went here with two friends hoping for a good experience. The waiter came to our table with a pretty strong smell of alcohol. There were only two other tables in the restaurant at the time of service, we watched our pizzas sit for 10 minutes. When they got to use the larger pizza was fine but the smaller pizza was soggy from the amount of cheese and the time sitting. When we mentioned the issue we got blank stares from two employees, then a manager came out and offered cannolis and blamed the others for not being attentive. I'm a HUGE fan of NY style pizza. I try it everywhere I go, including NYC so yes, I have been to the source on the multiple occasions. For the record, the best I've EVER had was not in NYC, but St. Augustine, Florida. But I digress... My wife and I were HUGE fans of Nevole's Pizza in Draper back when NYPD first opened. We decided to try this place back then to see how it compared and it was awful. Bland, bad service, etc. But sadly Nevole's closed (due to bad management, not lack of quality) and there's been a void in Utah for authentic NY style pizza ever since. Tonight, years later, we decided to give NYPD another shot. WOW, complete 180! Good food, excellent service, and the price was right too. Although it still isn't quite as good as Nevole's was, it definitely is a decent replacement when you're craving NY style pie. I'd recommend this place to anyone at this point. read more

I made the mistake of going to this place for lunch. I made an order to go and while standing there I was watching the kitchen helper not using gloves handling food. While he was making a sandwich for someone else he gets a call quickly reaches out to his packet but then changes his mind and continuous to cut the bread and out the cheese in it. He then leaves to the back side pulls his mask down, places his ear piece on and makes a call or listens to his voice mail. On the way back quickly picks his nose and puts his mask back on. He then continues to handle the food and puts the plate on the counter for the waiters to delivery to the customer. He went on like this without ever washing his hands. I will call be calling the Utah health department on them. read more

THEY HAVE GLUTEN FREE PIZZA and it's the best dough ever. I brought the left over pieces home and the quality of their well made pizza remained on point; the flavors sat and the pizza was even tastier. Some of the most authentic tasting New Year style pizza in Utah. Take it from an east coaster who grew up on New York pizza, this place is worth the visit. Their wings are also top notch. They have very good Brazilian pizza. However, we were very disappointed when we asked for "extras." One of the times we went there we conpthat the amount of catupiry the put on the pizza changed since the last time we were there and we were told that "it's always been the same, we always measure the amount we put on it, if you want more you have to pay extra." Ok then, so the next time we go we ask for extra catupiry and the person on the phone seemed to make it kind of difficult asking a bunch of questions and then charging us $4 for the extra. We love the pizza so much and we're craving the catupiry that we agree to pay a total price of $30 for the pizza with extra topping plus a soda. It was so disappointing to get home and open a box of pizza with NO extra topping. I get that catupiry is imported from Brazil but if we were willing to pay extra for it, give us extra!! Me and my family(party of 4) arrived around 9pm to be seated when they closed at 10pm. We felt very very very rushed as the server asked us 5 times within 4 minutes if we were ready to order. We order our two XL pizza and asked for the pizzas to be slipped into 4 different kinds. When we finally got out pizzas 30 minutes later (9:40pm) one of them was only a single flavor. We asked for our pizza to be taken back and remade but the server Lucas told us the kitchen had closed at that point. Right after this a couple walked in with the wrong order and their pizza was remade with no issues. We asked if the pizza could have been taken out of our check as it was not correct and was clearly the servers fault for putting in the wrong order and he said NO. He told us if he took it off our check they would keep the pizza or they could give us a 10%discount next time we came in. We decided that we would rather not eat the pizza at the point and our pizza was taken back making 2 of our family member not have dinner at all. This was VERY disappointing experience and I would NEVER AGAIN recommended anyone there. We were rushed into leaving after we had barely finished our only pizza. My husband wasn't even done with his drink and the server just took it away without asking. Horrible horrible horrible experience. THANKS for nothing. read more

I feel confident in saying this is the worst pizza I've ever eaten. Ordered online, tipped well, and showed up on time for pick up. 30 dollars for a large pizza and salad. Pizza was sitting under heat lamps when I showed up, and stayed there for ten minutes as I waited for the side salad I also ordered. Got home, and the pizza was cold and sticking to the bottom of the box, the toppings would just tumble off like they had been thrown on after the rest of the pizza was cooked. I've tried pick-up twice recently, and both times I regretted going in there. Never again. There are employees running around, but no apparent designated host/hostess for you to tell that you're there to pick up a pizza that you ordered online. Both times, I finally had to flag down a busy transiting food server and I felt like I was interrupting their work. Also, if you value your life in the covid era, don't go in there when it's busy. It's overcrowded, and it's impossible to socially distance if you are standing there waiting for your take-out pizza. I'm amazed the Dept. of Health hasn't shut them down. The pizza isn't bad, but not cheap, and as stated before, difficult to access if you're taking out. There are easier, safer alternatives for take-out in the Draper area. read more

I LIKE IT. This is foldable, tasty, fresh NY style pizza, people! Surprisingly, they make a remarkable attempt at creating a legit east-coast crust. It's impossible, mind you. But they really do give it a great effort. The crust is pretty solid for a Utah pizza joint bent on dishing out a pie good enough to be worthy of their NY name claim. I'm certainly not an expert, but I've had NY pizza. I know what I like, and I like this place. Toppings are ample with crispy veggies and tasty red sauce. Vampires, be on alert. I love that you can get fresh sliced garlic as a topping! Broccoli is another unique choice, for those who don't get enough broccoli otherwise... Here's a sampling of the many NYPD pizzas we've had the pleasure of scarfing down: - Margherita AND Mariano (similar to each other; both aaaaaamazing & my personal favorites) - Manhattan Meat Lovers (Hubby's fave) - Queens Deluxe (Hubby's other fave) - Brooklyn Bleu Cheese & BBQ Chicken (wow. just eat it. so huggin good.) Departing from the pizza menu, they also have some relatively tasty entrees. Like, I really appreciate their very simple but tasty Garlic & Olive Oil Spaghetti. Also, their Baked Ziti is a refreshing change-up that you don't often see on Italian menus around here. It's not as good as my own Baked Ziti, of course, but still worthy. Try the garlic knots - these little heady-bready gadgets are pretty good. Particularly if you happen to order a side of marinara or alfredo in which to luxuriously bathe them. But one did it for me - that's a lot of bread. The salads are okay. One of my biggest peeves with any resto is when there is any use whatsoever of iceberg lettuce. Even for a wedge salad, I'm against it. Iceberg lettuce has no justifiable application in my world. NYPD seems to like it, because they overuse it in 99% of their salads. I think their Caesar is the only one that is not scourged with iceberg lettuce. I'll pass - at least until they pull their heads (of lettuce) out, and start using more professional and acceptable greens. We have tried the Italian Wedding Soup, which is surprisingly good. I love this type of soup in general, even out of a can. They do a nice version of it. Meatballs I've had elsewhere can taste freezer-ish, or completely faux. I didn't avoid the meatballs in this one. The serving size seemed a little miserly, but as an appetizer it's good. I must mention the sweets at NYPD. I can't recall the last time I even considered any dessert at a pizza place. I mean, The Hut's cinnamon sticks make me want to rip out my intestinal tract with a crochet hook; and Little Seizure's knows better than to even offer dessert options...(I may need a minute, composure-wise). One word - Zeppolis. Soft and sweet donut holes served to you in a paper sack, where they're tossed in either plain powdered sugar, or cinnamon-laced sugar..............we've done both. I personally prefer the plain sugar, but the cinnamon version is also magnificent. I wouldn't kick either version out of bed, if you get my drift. It was slightly reminiscent of the world-class Beignet coming out of New Orleans' Cafe Du Monde. I have regular full-scale dreams about them. We've always had fairly quick and friendly service at NYPD. With a rare exception, all staff seems to be happy to be serving you. Most also have personalities, and don't mind interacting with diners. Even when we've picked up pizza to go here, they're conversational and welcoming. They also have some handy money-saving coupons available if you look around for them; on their website, and they'll even give you coupons when you're there for next time. A final important but semi-confusing tip - they claim to have no affiliation with the real NYPD. And I've never seen Ice-T here, either. So, I believe them. read more

All I can say is, see my pictures attached to this post. We ordered a Philly cheesesteak pizza and garlic butter wings. The description of the pizza boasts that it's smothered in ribeye steak and grilled onions and peppers. Well, it's not. The meat is pretty much the frozen steakums stuff that people buy when they've smoked too much weed and find themselves lost in the freezer aisle. The wings were fried to death, and became dry little nuggets with jarred garlic spooned over the top. Maybe it was just a bad night, so I wouldn't write them off. Pizza was thin and crispy. I really liked it. The sizes weren't the usual that you normally see but they had the pans out so you can see what your getting. The prices are pretty reasonable. I recommend it. I felt the quality was pretty good. The store had a nice cozy feel to it. The service was good and the food was ready pretty quick. This was a really good sit-down pizza place. Bad experience. Not sure if it was just the day or the person that "helped" or if they really lack in professionalism but ... Pizza was extremely dry, not flavorful and far from "brazilian pizza". They were so rude on the phone when I was placing my order and when I got there to pick it up, they said I never ordered anything, despite having paid over the phone. Very unprofessional. Passion fruit mouse was also very weird taste and smelled old milk. From someone that used to have passion fruit since a child, I say that the only real passion fruit on that desert are the seeds on top, the mouse is very artificial flavor. Wish they were what some of the other reviews said about "real authentic Brazilian pizza", but they need to change so many things to be the real thing, starting by treating customers better.
