First, great service from the young person at the front counter. She was attentive and cheerful. The bagels and bialys, however, leave a lot to be desired. I grew up eating bagels and bialys, and these miss the mark. There is no discernible chew to them, and the crust is rather dry. I question whether or not they are boiled. Toasted, the bialy needed a fork and knife. They aren't bad per se, but their textures are way off. For my money, Chompie's and even Einstein Bros are better choices. read more

Reading other raving reviews I have to believe we got a very bad batch of bagels. Got sesame, poppy seeds, blueberry, and bialys. All of them very dry, no flavors (other than the strong blueberries aroma), not chewy at all, and pale looking; in particular the bialys (they were awful). Didn't matter how we toasted them or what we spread onto, they were flavorless and extremely bad texture. Sorry, but not buying here again. read more

Had 3 orders of bacon (regular), one jalapeno cheddar bagel, pepper jack, bacon, and egg sandwich w a cold brew and a garlic bialys w cheddar, scrambled egg, and bacon. All of it was really good! I DID ask for the sandwiches to be toasted and may consider not doing that next time, as they're a bit crunchy, but the flavors are great and I was really impressed w the cook on the bacon...not too crispy, but not limp! We've been here many times and it has been going down hill every time. Today's experience has led us to needing to find a new usual breakfast place in this area. The server was slow. We were sat but had to ask after 10 minutes for silverware and water. When the food arrived, things were smaller than the last few visits and the most disappointing part of the hard poached eggs on the Benedict. We originally asked for extra hollandaise sauce because there was hardly any on a Benedict. After cutting into the eggs and finding them to be overcooked, we asked for a new eggs and we were then served a bowl of undercooked poached eggs still sitting in water. After speaking with the manager who recognized us as long term customers, the hash was taken off our bill but we were then charged for the hollandaise and remake of the poached eggs. The other locations of this place seem to be much more organized than this location. read more

I'd be worried for my heath had I drank that. clean you machine or make sure things are not expired idk what the issues was but you're going to make people sick. fix that seriously. Dirty. First time visit, first impression is cleanliness isn't a priority. I drive by this place in the morning and decided to give it a try. It was 7 am and not busy on a Tuesday. I ordered coffee and a bagel; the staff was friendly. The coffee station it was filthy. The condiment tray was disgusting and literally had gooey stuff from leaked open packets of whatever liquid they contained. I thought twice about using the coffee stirrers from the same station. There was also a stainless-steel pitcher of coffee creamer that was completely warm to the touch. First time and last time visit. read more

Overall just 4 stars for the way our visit started. But 5 Stars for Evan. We have been eating here for a little while. Our favorite breakfast spot on the weekends. This morning was an unusual start. We were seated at a table and then kind of forgotten about. Sat for 10 minutes without being offered drinks or even water. At that point we decided to move to the bar. After moving, we had the pleasure of having Evan as our server at the bar. He was very accommodating, attentive and just overall pleasant and personable. I was also shocked to not find any salsa in the bag when I got home. My bride had the caprese avocado toast and it too was not seasoned. The bread was soggy and there was minimal avocado on it. The sandwiches here don't match up to the breakfast items. The lettuce was black and green and there was a giant slab of onion like you would find on a burger. The fries were fresh, but compared to their breakfast potatoes, these shoestring fries were a bit wimpy. Turkey quality was good enough. Nice to have a new breakfast spot in the neighborhood! We got there early to beat the crowd - no crowd - where are you, people? Probably, like us, you didn't realize they'd been open for a couple of months - get over here so I can bitch about having to wait for a table next time ;-) Service was spectacular (and not just because they weren't busy - Kathleena (hope I got the spelling close) was sparkly (hard to achieve before 0730, but she pulled it off) from the moment we opened the door until we headed out. My wife decided to try the Slam, and I went for the (no surprise here) Traditional Benedict. My wife said the french toast was probably the best she'd ever had - the pancake is in the currently popular thick-and-cakey style, which isn't her favorite - the eggs were cooked perfectly to order. The Eggs Benedict was very good - hollandaise sauce was a browner-rather-than-yellow/orange than usual, and I think it made it look more made-from-scratch rather than out of a can - tasted great, too! Eggs poached perfectly and ham and english muffin were very good. The home fries were different than any I've tried - cut in crescent moon wedge shapes and deep fried - very tasty and crispy and evenly browned. They got several walk-in/takeaway customers while we were there (bagels to go, etc.), so we'll have to try the bagels - and several other things on the menu - btw - the lunch menu is available for breakfast, too - and I spotted a Reuben on there, so gotta try that soon! BTW - if you, like me, had no idea what a Bialy is - it's basically a bagel that is just baked, not boiled-then-baked. And now you know...the rest of the story. So, if you've gotten this far in the review, I'll expect to see you sitting at my table next time I go, so I can be cranky that I have to wait for a table...it's ok, I'll get over it. ;-) read more

The menu price for a plain bagel is around $2 but if they toast it they charge you an extra $2.... Seems steep considering all the other items I purchased at the same time. Omg, I have no words. So good. I told husband we won't be going anywhere else for breakfast or brunch. This will be our new spot. Service is great. Food is amazing, interior is clean and music above is some good tunes. I have no complaints, our waiter was nice and remembered our complicated order without any mistakes. The large BLT sandwich was the exact same size as a small sandwich, but $3.00 more. We asked for the tomato's that came on the corn beef sandwich to be on the side.. but they charged us $3.99 for that. An overall horrible experience!!!!!
