Buffets are slowly dying in my eyes I think, I grew up with them and seeing this one in the middle of East Oakland felt a bit dumbfounding. Their car park is very small that I had to get out because the amount of anxiety it gave me was not bearable. Inside is a big space, with plenty of food but not too sanitary. The floors felt wet and there were a lot of pealings from the counters. Felt fine with some food options. For the price, it felt okay, not sure what scenario to put it in; either you're moving and have no time to cook then this is the place or some sort of situation in life like that brings you. Service is direct, nothing extravagant. Would eat here if someone paid for me but not to go for a stretch.

Rice, beef quesadilla, short rib. Chicken wing, and fried shrimp.

First off, with how much they charge for dinner ($27 per person), you would think they would get better furniture. To be honest, I was scared to even eat the food, but after paying $135 for 5 people I needed to at least try the food. I did not like it. I am so frustrated. The only thing that tasted okay was the BBQ short ribs. One of the things that I felt good about was seeing one of the cooks wearing a face mask. I do not recommend this place.

Lots of choices, and the price is worth, I come here each month enjoy the seafood, sushi and sashimi. Price includes drinks. Four star because the crab not good as it reopens.

On the plus side, they offer a senior discount, and you pay after your meal, which is convenient. The food selection was okay. I wish they had more variety, but there was a decent amount of seafood and meat options available. They also had four different soups to choose from, which was a nice surprise. Unfortunately, the crab was disappointing. It was very hard to crack open and had very little meat inside, so it wasn't worth the effort. The rest of the food was decent, though nothing particularly stood out. It's not the best buffet I've been to, but it's not bad either. I think the restaurant could really benefit from refreshing the menu and updating the overall appearance of the space. With a few improvements, it could make a strong comeback in the buffet scene. If you decide to visit, I'd recommend going during lunch. The price is lower and offers much better value for what you get.

My sister made a reservation for six people that included two high chairs and four adults. When we arrived, the restaurant was quite empty and they did not have our table ready. Luckily, it did not take too long for them to set one up. They also closed the outdoor seating, which made this place so fun and unique back then! We did the AYCE for $43 per person! So worth it especially if you could eat a lot of meat! One À la carte plate of LA style Galbi here was already $38. For four adults, we definitely ordered at least eight plates of just Galbi with several plates of brisket, thin pork belly, seafood, and other sides. The Galbi was all of our favorites! It was so savory, sweet, and tasty! They marinated the meat so well! Such a surprise for an AYCE place! It was better than most of the Korean restaurants we tried in the Bay Area! Definitely recommend Gogi Time if you would like a good deal on well marinated Korean short ribs (Galbi). The place was not smoky but slightly loud. The workers were nice but did not come around as often as other AYCE places. We had to ask the workers several times to switch our trays when it was burnt from the Galbi. Another issue was tasting sand in my lettuce for the wrap. That was gross! Aside from all that, the kbbq was still worth the price! Would recommend the delicious Galbi!

I don't know how they can miss this, unless they weren't washed at all! - meat was sliced paper thin, feels like more got stuck to the grill than was eaten - only half of the grill heats up, made the cooking process a pain in the ass - banchan doesn't include kimchi! Instead they gave us Mac n cheese which has gone rancid - overhead fan doesn't work and it got really smoky - restaurant was running at maybe 15% capacity, yet it took forever for them to take our order. For our second round they came back 10 min after taking our order to ask if we're ready to order, then it took another 10 min for the food to come out - keeps giving us pork belly when we order bulgogi - best part of the meal was the free churros they brought out at the end. I think they should open a churro stand instead All in all, new management sucks, and not a single part of our meal justifies the $55/person price point! Don't come if you know what actual Korean bbq tastes like.

Food came out pretty quick compared to other AYCE sushi places I've been to, which was nice. I've had times where I've forgotten I've ordered and food comes out to me unexpected, 30 minutes later... not here! We definitely ordered the one omikase box allowed per table. The raw fish is pretty good for an AYCE place and they have a nice selection of rolls and cooked food as well, most of which was pretty good for an AYCE place. Of course you expect that nothing is top of the line if you you come to a place like this but if AYCE is what you're looking for, I'd definitely consider this one.
