Spark Handyman is brilliant. I initially called Sam to mount a 55" television to the wall on an ergonomic mount - he was friendly, respectful, and had it done in no time. Later, I had bought six bamboo curtains that are ceiling mounted, but didn't realize that my ceiling was reinforced with concrete. I bought a rotary hammer but still wasn't strong enough to drill the holes myself. Turns out there was more than concrete reinforcing that ceiling! Sam came over in the evening less than half a day after I reached out (30 minutes out of the way on a workday) and stayed for two HOURS trying several different methods of puncturing that forcefield of a ceiling. It was evening and he didn't have access to the drill that was needed - I got the wrong one. When it was clear it wasn't going to happen, he insisted that I not pay him since he didn't get the job done (he reluctantly accepted a tip eventually). Weeks later he sent me a message of wooden curtains he had just put up in another home and offered me a discount to get mine up with the right tools this time. I had already found a solution at this point, but learned it had really bothered him he hadn't been able to complete the service. Sam is a man of his word. He works quickly, he's affable and kind but I could not for the life of me get him to stop calling me "ma'am" or apologize. He's the man for the job!! read more

The experience was fast and efficient, and yeah I requested a service and received service Nothing was draining in my shower, then sink, and finally the toilet, then it overflowed - that's when I finally called - should have called earlier. Didn't know what to expect. Was impressed with the shoe covers like they wear in hospitals so that nothing got tracked around, literally that's what was on my mind, was having someone I didn't know do this and in my place. Probably could tell talking to me that it was a big thought on my mind. Hired Spark Emergency Repairs via instagram. I needed to install an ac and heating unit in my shed. The tech was polite and did a great job with cutting a hole on the back wood wall of the shed for the exhaust. He hooked up hoses for drainage and sealed it. The shed is now cooling properly.
