Nice little old school style diner! Stopped in for lunch and I ordered a pastrami sandwich and a cup of clam chowder, it also includes a baggie of chips which was nice. On the pricier side, but you're on the beach so what do you expect? I'd come back if I was in the area.

Stopped by for breakfast and had a nice meal. Located a block from Nye Beach on the Oregon coast this is a cute spot for breakfast and lunch. Spanish themed menu, I went with something NOT Spanish and ordered the baked French toast. Consists of two pieces of bread and they put egg and some nuts on top and BAKE IT. Then it has marrionberries on top and whipped cream. It was good but not great. Will get a Spanish themed item next time. Got a side of bacon and it was over cooked. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I can see why this place is popular

Incredibly delicious food and friendly service. The favorites we had today are the homemade salsa, huevos rancheros, caprese sandwich on gluten free bread (truly the best GF bread ever!). They also had other pastries that we didn't try but looked incredibly good. Highly recommend this place!!

Great breakfast! A small eatery that I am sure will be very busy on the weekends. We showed up mid morning on a Thursday in October. We got one of the last tables. This place makes all their breads from scratch as well as their biscuits. Everything on the menu looked amazing and it was hard to decide. I got the John Denver three egg omelette. It was stuffed to the gills with veggies and meat. I didn't care for the hash-browns, I wish I would have gotten the potatoes that came with the hash. My husband got the corned beef hash and that was amazing. The corned beef melted in your mouth. There was a great selection of hot sauces. Coffee comes in cute handmade mugs that are for sale. Would love to come back again when we are passing through. There are so many things I want to try. The service was quick and friendly.

We came for the GF chowder. They have GF bread Hubs got a turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich and it was toasted with cheese on the outside! The chowder was hearty and chunky. You can get it to go. The kiddo loved how cheesy his quesadilla was

I made it back again and had a great Sunday lunch. Funny enough, I got the same thing I got last time! Turkey, bacon, and avocado grilled sandwich. It came with a side a chips (mini bag of Kettle chips). My kiddo ordered a cup of chowder (one of her favorite things) and she devoured the whole cup. They helped me out by adding the chowder as an upgrade to my meal so it came out cheaper than ordering is separately. Love a place that helps me save money! Great little lunch in a cozy little spot.

Small and a bit cramped (some might say cozy) but it's got great homey vibes, and these guys have been slinging fantastic breakfasts and lunches for years. I've been several times in the last couple years and this last visit did not disappoint. My Blythe Breakfast burrito was absolutely delish -- who knew pairing polenta with eggs, beans and avocado would have such a great mouth feel? Hefty, too; it's my new fave. Wifey's breakfast sando (the Jude) was off the hook as well. This place is usually busy for good reason - plus they make their own bread. Friendly service, no attitude, and looks like it's family-run, so all in all a very comfy meal at a local gem.

Very nice caffè, welcoming and cozy. Big thumbs up for their offering of gluten free pancakes and French toast!! Overall taste was just ok. I wouldn't go back for overall "deliciousness". But because of GF offering, I will. Good coffee. Easy parking.

Well this place did not disappoint! Got the breakfast and everything was delicious! Great biscuit and gravy and this Georgia girl knows!

PARKING // Easy breezy - literally and FREE. Stret parking only but plenty of it. FOOD // scrambled eggs dry were very fluffy and light and flavorful. Biscuits are homemade and the jam is real fruit in-house made as well. Hash browns were a bit undercooked, but still edible. Coffee was very good. The cups are made by a local artist. AMBIANCE // Eclectic beach vibes meets boho. They pull it together very well. Spacious with just enough tables. Small ball area that serves alcoholic drinks as well. And a breakfast bar. SERVICE // this is a small family-run business. The service was very good. Very attentive, but not overbearing. This is definitely a breakfast stop on my list when I'm in Oregon.

We lucked out and arrived right as the largest table in the tiny place was finishing up so we got a table that comfortably fit the six of us. The waiter was super nice and helpful, especially since we started out saying we needed three checks. I ended up getting something I used to get years ago and was thrilled to see that they still had: pan-fried Yaquina Bay oysters and eggs, along with the homemade biscuit. Love that they have homemade bread and bread their own oysters and fish. I was worried that this place wouldn't be as good as it was when I used to go there 12 years ago with the new owners but it was as good as ever. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the waiter was super kind and funny. Love to see this place still thriving.

We got the seafood platter as an appetizer and it was so delicious! We got to try a little bit of everything. We were pretty full just off of that but got entrees. The ahi poke in the seafood platter was so good I had to get it as my main. The sauce was so incredible with fresh avocado. I NEED that recipe. I would come back to Newport just for the ahi poke bowl. My fiance got the dungeness crab mac and cheese and it was without a doubt THE BEST mac and cheese we've ever had. We are Mac and cheese connoisseurs so that says a lot. The sauce was so perfect and the crab was very generous. To top it all off I thought the post cards at the end were very sweet. I came to Newport when I was a child (maybe 7 years old) and I had lots of old memories that I relived on my trip. I sent one to my mom. Our waiter was absolutely lovely. We were sat pretty quickly but not offered a high chair for our toddler. The restaurant vibe is a little off. Weird decor, cloth napkins, and loud music with the waitress singing very loudly which was annoying. By reading other comments, this is the owner's granddaughter. I heard another waitress tell the granddaughter that a couple of tables left suddenly who were sitting outside because no one checked on them. The granddaughter said rudely to the other waitress "those are your tables. I'm not allowed to touch them." It sounded like she knew the customers were there and didn't do anything to help them or tell the other waitress they were there. Not a very good way to run a business and a staff. We put in our order rather quickly and I had to ask where our food was after waiting for 45 minutes. The granddaughter apologized and said there was a 10 top and a 5 top ahead of us and all they were waiting for was my toddler's PBJ sandwich. The 10 top was sitting right next to us and they had already gotten their food, ate, and paid by the time I asked where our food was and the 5 top was already eating for 10min by the time I asked about our food. We finally got our food after waiting almost an hour for it. The food was good and thankfully hot when it came out. The granddaughter offered us a free dessert to-go for having to wait so long for our food. Specifically to-go like she didn't want us there anymore. We probably won't come here again, but it was fine enough food for lunch right by our hotel.
