O'Bryan is 1 of the top plumbers in the area. They're knowledgeable, reputable, reliable, and do a good job at whatever task they're on. I also appreciate that they're always on time, never have to move an appointment, and treat me like an important customer. I first reached out to them to get a quote to install a whole home water filter/softener. Although I didn't go with them (+$700 more expensive than the other quotes I got), I knew if I ever needed future plumbing services, they'd be the folks for the job. Sure enough, I needed their help a few months later. One of my toilets wouldn't flush after we had the big freeze and thinking it was a frozen drain pipe, I waited it out only to realize it might be something more. Low and behold, they resolved my flushing problem in a very timely manner. What was the source of the problem, you might ask? Poop. Apparently, you can't flush brown steamboats if you have new low-flow toilets. You gotta pinch and flush, pinch and flush, wipe and flush (repeat as necessary), and don't you dare combine those tasks under 1 flush! My bad, bro. So not only did our guy deal with a gag-inducing job, he informed us along the way of how to prevent this in the future and things to bear in mind with the shape and type of our toilet. Our main toilet stopped up Monday afternoon. I called the company with whom we have a contract, but their next appointment was one week away! In the meantime, we couldn't use this bathroom without overflow. I called at least 5 plumbing companies and no one had openings until Wednesday. I found O'Bryan Plumbing through Yelp. They agreed to come out the next day, and they unstopped the toilet so now everything is working. I was impressed with the manners of both plumbers, as well as their attention to cleanliness...they covered their shoes with booties and cleaned up the whole area before they left. We had a gas leak opportunity . I use AHS for most plumbing needs but this was not covered. O'Bryan Plumbing took almost 5 hours to replace a water heater that was drained and disconnected when they arrived. The installed water heater had a manufacturing defect upon installation. The quality of work was disappointing. Water spilled in the attic stained the garage ceiling. Items like mixing PVC and copper in the overflow connected by a push to connect fitting (like PEX or shark bite). Overflow has 3, 90 degree couplers. Poor placement of shut off valves plus other items of note. read more

This has been the most difficult company to work with by far. I've been in the construction industry for 10 years, and what an absolute nightmare. Beware their warranty means nothing, they will deny you if the owner is simply having a bad day. The owner likes to start arguments, has no customer service and even hung up on a client. Be very careful as the owner is quick to get defensive and can't have a normal conversation. Make sure you shop around or you will regret the final outcome. Very disappointed in their customer service. During the great snow storm in North Texas they decided to just ignore their customers. Their idea of addressing customers inquiries was to place a voice message on the answering service and not respond. I know they were very busy and I didn't expect service right away. This team rocks! Returned from evening bike ride. Tried to take shower but no hot water. Checked the water heater and water was flowing out. Luckily was able to call O'Bryan to come out and replace the next day which they did. Jillian and Bobby were very professional and courteous. They were also very open and honest. Explained all my options, presented pros and cons. Having read some reviews of water heaters online (enough to be dangerous) they confirmed that they take extra steps to protect their customers and provide honest recommendations based on their experience. What more could you want from anyone? After installation, Jillian went over what they had done and how they added a scale collector to the inlet line which my previous water heater didn't have. They just completed a large plumbing project this last week that consisted of tunneling underneath the house and replacing broken pieces of cast iron plumbing with PVC. The price was reasonable for the size of the project. They were respectful, quick to respond, and fast and efficient workers. They also want out of their way to do a few extra things for us.
