Don't waste your time the food was not hot, the salad was horrible lettuce old not to mention it was an up charge of 2.50$$ what the heck for that old salad. We tried this for Sunday lunch. It was disappointing all the way around. The restraint was not half full. We waited 30 minutes to be seated. Once seated we had a nice waiter. He did a great job. It took 30 minutes to get our food. Two of our party had the meatloaf with fried okra and sweet potatoes. The meatloaf was ok. The okra was under cooked. I did not try the sweet potatoes. I've been going on mondays for the chicken finger special for quite a while .for 5.99 I get chicken fingers, a side ,and a drink . The ordering online process is simple. I check-in when I arrive and my food is brought out by a smiling and friendly person .Its just that simple .A good , hot meal and great service for 5.99! Just wanted to grab a quick bite to eat while out running errands so we just stopped in. This is a chain restaurant, and the food is chain restaurant. Nothing bad or exceptionally great about the food. I will not necessarily select his place with all the other options in Hiram, unless the crowds were an issue, but if you haven't been in awhile you may enjoy returning. I really felt that the food was prepackage tasting. Nothing unique. I wish I could give it tons of praise. The food is trash. My daughter ordered fish and it was clearly fried in old grease. My other daughter ordered a cheeseburger and it had a strand of hair on it. I stopped in here a couple of times recently. The service was very friendly. The food surprisingly surpassed my expectations. I would put it as a top tier middle of the road chain restaurant. They also brought crayons for my little girl. They were very patient with her. She had one of those nights where she dropped her utensils multiple times. The drinks bartender Stephen made were very good. The food was subpar in presentation and taste. The presentation of a burger at McDonald's is better than here. The asparagus was dry and over cooked. We have ordered pick up from the location 3 times and delivery a few times and almost everytime they mess up at least one item. They have consistently replaced items without calling or telling me about a change. They forget the drinks. We had cold food delivered once also. I've been to this location several times simply because it's like 5 minutes from my house. Today I ordered one of their lunch specials-fried chicken house salad (half size). It was $5.99, but delivery for this is not an option. Therefore, I had to use the curbside take out service. Using the online ordering site was very user friendly and easy. I pulled up to the curbside lot and waited on someone to come to my car for about 5 minutes. I finally had to call the store, and someone quickly brought me my order. The greens in the salad were fresh. The fried chicken, on the other hand, was cooked TOO hard. There were some pieces that I couldn't even bite through. That made the salad unenjoyable. The rolls were even dry and pasty. It just wasn't the best. I'm still giving this location 4 stars because all of the other meals I've had from there have been really good. I just know not to eat their chicken tenders again. read more

Not sure about how to start this review as there was so much wrong with our experience here. First off, and this applies to the vast majority of restaurants out there, there are no options for caffeine-free and diet drinks offered. I am diabetic and caffeine bothers me as well, I can't sleep if I have caffeine after 3 pm or so. There are a few restaurants that do offer this option, specifically Moe's and Steak and Shake. I had to order water. Since one of the greatest profit items on most restaurant's menus is the beverages, I simply don't understand why this option is not offered. Secondly, we arrived at approximately 4:20 pm with a party of 5. Even though the restaurant had MANY tables available we were told that there would be a 15-20 minute wait. After waiting about 25 minutes we were told after inquiring that "the wait staff that can handle large parties don't arrive until 5 PM." Wow, first off, a party of 5 is not large and secondly, it is such a shame that such a party should inconvenience you. In case the owner and management don't realize it, a good business will take care of their customers regardless of the inconvenience. Third, my wife ordered decaf coffee with her meal. When the cup was empty the waitress just took the cup...never asked if my wife would have liked more. The rest of us had our cold drinks refilled but very slowly. Fourth, we ordered fried pickles as an appetizer. The dish came with about 20 pieces of pickle on it. Much smaller than what we have received at other restaurants. Finally, I ordered a full rack of ribs, While the ribs were tasty, the rack was full of splinters and small chunks of bone. I may be wrong but to me, this is indicative of a less pricey slab of ribs and they were not inexpensive on the menu. The waitress did try to accommodate us by asking if we wanted more rolls and such but overall failed in her expected duties. Overall, we had a very bad experience at this restaurant. read more

This location is a hit or miss when it comes to service and cleanliness of the restaurant. I've come here in the past and had a 5-star O'Chucks experience and other times I've left feeling like I wasted time and money. As far as cleanliness I would recommend always looking at their food scores. This place has slid up and down the food ratings like Mariah Carey singing a musical scale. Currently they have an A but before they failed, and precious to that Bruce for a low B. Doesn't seem too consistent which could possibly explain some of the issues. The service is always hit or miss as well. On slow nights you'll still wait long times for your food, beverages and rolls. On the positive: the food is always good. The tables are always nasty when I walk in. It just has a dark gloomy grungy look. The tile floor has been slippery on all three visits . This is definitely an accident waiting to happen. I'd have mash potatoes, sweet mashed potatoes, grilled veggies or rice pilaf. The veggies have been stiff , stale and looks freezer burned; and they lacked flavor. The mash potatoes cold and appears to lack freshness, sweet mash taste and looked old and if it had been sitting under a light or from another patrons plate. The rice pilaf was the worse . The rice was hard, cold and looked old and tasted like rocks. The fish was ok, not anything to rave over . If the place is unkempt and the food is subpar. I don't want to come back again. The waitress who had walked all around us till then and never acknowledged finally came over.said sorry but didn't know it was her table. We were polite and said it was ok. We ordered. Food came out wrong but still we were polite. Had to ask each time for our drinks to be refilled. Don't go often for these reasons. We are never rude to our waitresses or waiters.
