I flew to Nashville but had to drive 30 minutes to a small town called Lebanon, TN for an important occasion. When I tell you that small town hospitality doesn't disappoint, it's right here! I haven't been to an O'Charley's in years being that I'm from Georgia but I enjoyed it here. The atmosphere was cozy and full of warmth. The service was old school and friendly and that's what I loved about everything! Brittany, Sarah, and Noah, were excellent! Their service was on point and I really appreciate it! I ordered the cheese wedges, fried okra, and a glass of pinot grigio. Everything was tasty. It's so nice to visit a small town where everyone is treated like family. I ordered a pickup, and when I got back to the hotel, I saw that the fish I ordered was essentially nuggets with little meat on the inside, a far cry from the thick fish battered fish and chips I order all the time from other locations. I paid $23 for this meal, subbing salad for the fries( and paid extra. The manager said they had a different vendor and they weighed it out and it weighed the same. But offered to give me more, because what they had previously given I would still be hungry after eating, it was so bad. I hardly leave reviews or complain. I had not even seen the rolls when I called. They were not the round and fluffy famous Charley's rolls, they weee like square rolls you get at Kroger and hard. I hate to think this was because it was a pickup order and they would have served this in their dining room. He manager was nice and offered to fix the problem, and when we picked up the new fish and chips, even when I was told it was them using a different company... why my meal was lacking. I posted images of the thicker pieces that were the normal breading and meat they always are. To show next to what I was given first was not only smaller it barely had fish in it. I gave 2 stars instead of just one because the manager made it right. He did his job. My stance is that we have to hold companies accountable when they try and give us a happy meal, for $23 and let them know that we see them. I would give 1 star review because I'm done with all companies taking advantage of customers and shrinkflation. I never call and complain, it was just that bad. The food was terrible that I got at first. Rolls and fish. But the manager offered to have more food picked up for me, and he even threw in fries. The replacement, was the meal it should have been. I guess you have to dine in, to get the food they show in the pictures on their menu. The staff seemed great, I will try and assume the best they are acting on their companies policies. I don't know why there's so many bad reviews about this place. But I will tell you I was going to leave three stars but because of how the bartender Lex bent over backwards for me, I had to give it 4! Cons: Upon entering, it smells a little musty, they don't have Louisiana hot sauce, they didn't have the rum I like, and they don't have cucumber vodka. AND MY DRINK CAME WITH LIME WHEELS!!!! WASTE OF COMPANY PROFITS! UNUSABLE FOR GARNISHING, NO BETTER THAN JUST ANESTHETIC GARNISH!!! GRRRRR!!! The lime Wheels fiasco was fixed. I asked Lex if they had actual wedges, and she took time to go to the kitchen and cut me a whole lime into wedges! She was super nice, super professional, and super attentive. I've had a pretty bad day, well only when I got to Lebanon, and I left out of there feeling on top of the world, so thank you Lex. I didn't use the restroom, but the rest of the establishment was really clean. I just think the carpets might need a good steaming. I ordered a plethora of cocktails. Ranging from vodka and soda to Cuba libres. All the while with my trusty cup of lime wedges.. I ordered the cedar plank salmon, but had it blackened, which kind of doesn't make sense for someone to do that but that's what I wanted. I ordered okra and slaw for my sides. They don't have any Louisiana red hot sauce, so I just used Tabasco. The okra was typical. The slaw was actually pretty good and the salmon was cooked perfectly. I typically shy away from ordering salmon at restaurants, because nine times out of 10, it's more like jerky, but the cook back there knew what he was doing. I'll probably never stop in Lebanon Tennessee again, I'll probably go to gordonsville or Nashville, but this place completely reversed my mood of being here. Let me start by saying that as a long time Wilson county resident, I'm ashamed by this restaurant. O'Charley's used to be a go-to place with good food, reasonable prices and a good atmosphere. This place has become an absolute dump, yet still charging outrageous prices. We probably got about 20 stale chips with our spinach dip, which was cold and yucky. My salad must have been at least 5 years old. Salmon was undercooked and smashed potatoes were cold. If I could give ZERO stars, I absolutely would. The server was loud and obnoxious. Stopping on our cross-Tennessee trip just outside of Nashville, we selected O'Charley's for its reviews and its proximity to the highway. I'm not usually a fan of chains, but beggars can't be choosers on an 8-hour road trip, so here we are. Connected to a hotel, O'Charley's had the usual quick and easy businessmen meals and nice, leisurely entrees. We were there for lunch to eat and run, so everyone was ordering something that wouldn't take forever. To my surprise, the Grilled Salmon bowl was what I was hungry for. And not in my dreams would I have figured it would come perfectly mid-rare atop orzo sautéed with kale, quinoa, carrots, and onions in a roasted red pepper sauce that I wanted to lick from the plate. That orzo was delicious, the veggies and the feta adding the perfect foil to the creamy richness of the pasta. The salmon was a nice, large fillet with perfect seasoning and a lovely sear. I visited this place when I was in Tennessee and I charged part of my bill for .63 cents. They charged my credit card $10.39. I have a receipt in my hand for the .39. O'Charley's is a casual chain restaurant with locations across the Midwest/South. I had never heard of O'Charley's when I moved to Nashville then discovered their headquarters are in this city. The Lebanon location of O'Charley's came to the rescue when a late-night dinner was in order! Their website makes it easy to order online and choose a pickup time then they have spots for curbside pickup. The curbside pickup is a great idea in theory but we waited for 10 minutes then finally just went inside and got the order. I ordered a club sandwich ($9.49) which comes with honey mustard dipping sauce and one choice of a side. This sandwich has turkey, ham, bacon, two kinds of cheese, tomato and mayo. For my side I got the thick cut chips which were crispy and well-seasoned. However, they must have made a very fresh batch because the chips were so hot they burnt holes in the plastic take out container! The sandwich was so large and cut into quarters so I only ate one half then saved the other half for lunch the following day (which it kept really well due to the sturdy french baguette bread!) All of the orders come with a couple of sweet dinner rolls and butter as well. Overall, I was satisfied with the quantity of the food I got for a takeout order and the quality was good as well. I wasn't thrilled about the curbside pickup situation but I would try O'Charley's again! My boyfriend likes the top shelf combo appetizer and the New Orleans Cajun chicken pasta and he is a fan of this chain so I am sure we'll be back. read more

SIGNIFICANTLY EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS I had the Pepper Jack cheese as on appetizer. A double Woodford Reserve was under $10. Two 22oz Sam Adams Summer Ales came to $11. My entree was steak/ salmon combo with broccoli and mac n cheese. The salmon was cooked PERFECTLY and heavily seasoned (which I enjoyed). The steak was good... I guess... for sure it wasn't bad. "Out" in the restaurant the service is usually really good and friendly. I like their fried pickles and fried cheese starters too. So I went and order a pork chop and shrimp. Everything was fine until I cut into the pork chop. It was still pretty pink. Since I would be giving some to my son I wasn't comfortable so I asked for a new one. The server took my plate with my picked over food and cut up pork chop. Brought me the new pork chop ON THE SAME PLATE. Pretty positive that's a health code violation. I know at a buffet you can take your plate back to the food! The manager asked if I still ate the pork chop ! NO SIR. They asked to make a 3 one but at that point I was good. I just Health department needs to go revisit for sure read more

It's really sad to see this place go downhill like it has. It use to be you could go and have a decent meal at a decent price. Not so much anymore. Ordered the battered shrimp and it was just awful. Way too much breading and very over cooked. The broccoli was nasty. It tasted watered down and old. Had to send husbands steak back because it was still mooing after it was ordered med well. Right off the bat our waitress info us she was ready for the day to be over. She had 45 minutes left in her shift and she was outta there. Not very attentive at all. We got a to go order from this one in Lebanon Tennessee tonight. My husband got the Catfish Cajun Poboy and a loaded mac & cheese He said it was to die for! I tasted the mac & cheese and it was excellent. I got a side salad and the chicken tortilla soup was off the charts! He also got the caramel pie that was excellent.
