OMG! Where should I start? I called to schedule an appointment and was told there would be a $49 charge to send someone out. I said okay. I then received a call from the electrician telling me it would be $250.00 (each) to "diagnose" the two problems I had called about. So, $500 (plus the $49 service call) to tell me what's wrong. I am about 99% sure the problem would be remedied by installing two new plugs. Had I known, I would have called someone else. Now I have to start again. read more

We live in a 60's house with 1960's wiring and we needed help with getting new dimmable 3-way switches to cooperate with new LED lighting. We are shocked at positive reviews. I am elderly and my daughter made arrangements for O'Hagan to come by and quote electrical needs for a Townhome we bought last August. My daughter liked his website and his assistant mike responded immediately when she wrote him. After we were put in their system (I think he called it Sierra), they refused to use convenient email and phone as listed on website. They wanted ONLY to communicate with us via text. I don't test and My daughter rarely uses texting and there is no way to keep track of communication or print anything out. O'Hagen's people did not assess our electrical needs (so much needs to be done) their quotes were written in electrical terms (not good for a layman). There are lots is issues inside and out. They said they could not asses where electrical lines to ascertain where to add new plugs, and they made a huge fuss about what they called guess work (don't electricians have that capability?). They sent someone to install a doorbell (when we got back to the property the bell didn't work and he had to come back to redo). Their people damaged the newly painted ceiling and plaster when he hung a light (HOW???) and his people actually TOOK a new box for a light switch fixture (This item was not theirs, but it was BRAND NEW IN BOX light switch and something we intended on using later). HE was very rude to my daughter, when she insisted he email her (owner Steves said he couldn't email due to their system). Twice they showed up hours late ... my daughter waited seven hours for him one Saturday and had to go out to shop (I was there to write the check). They tried to make it look like it was HER who stood them up. Avoid this electrician, he is bad and they don't want you to be able to document anything. When understand and sympathize that the owner's dog died during this time, but clearly that wasn't the real issues and he made the most of that excuse. Months later are finding oversights in his eval. NO GOOD. read more
