    Shepherd's pie

I love the historical feel of this place as well as the Irish decorations! The ambiance really makes it a nice place for a dinner, but the food was even better! I got the shepherds pie and it was super tasty, I loved the cheese on top and the fact that the meat wasn't too saucy (just the right amount). The service was great as well, our server was friendly and patient with us. We also got a visit from the manager at the end and he was great as well. Everyone we interacted with was so nice and it was a great experience overall, I'll definitely be back to try more things!

Excellent place to dine! Server Linda was most attentive and friendly server we have experienced in a long time. The food was wonderful! 2 appetizers, 7 different meals, and 3 desserts and each and everyone of them were perfect. Prices were more than fair! Atmosphere was very warm, welcoming, and comfortable. Even as we departed a kind man (I'm sorry I forget your name, maybe Patrick or Robert) came running to open the door for us and thanked us for dining with them. We will be regulars.

Food was very good. I had the Baja shrimp tacos. My daughter had the Sirloin and my granddaughter ate the Whiskey Salmon. Service was very good, the kitchen closed at 9 and we arrived around 9:15 and they sat us down and served us a wonderful meal! It's a nice bar indoor and out. Our waitress even served us another drink at closing time. A very nice place.

We enjoy their food however they seem to be slipping. Last week we ordered Irish puffs, boneless wings & a side of fries. I did not realize that the boneless wings came with fries however those fries were soggy, and the fries that I ordered separately were crispy and flavorful. The boneless wings were really good and I appreciate that they were not heavily breaded. They did not have breading on them, which made them even better. The Irish puffs were much smaller than I expected, but they were still very good . Last night we ordered Mediterranean chicken cooked in a white wine sauce with vegetables, and a side salad . We received a piece of chicken on top of a salad.. We also ordered Mulligan stew and nachos. The nachos were a very small portion for $12. They were about the size of a nacho Bell grande at Taco Bell. Those were kind of disappointing, but the flavor was there and there was quite a few toppings on them. The Mulligan stew was really good except it did have this huge cube of gristle in it and multiple bone fragments. Last week I would give them four stars, this week I would give them two stars so it's gonna average out to three. I think maybe they were trying to close because shortly after we picked up our order the online ordering system said they were closed . We will, of course, give them another try, but things have definitely changed in the last few years. Their quality is diminishing.

Got a seat in the fireplace room. For once it was not freezing back there. Started off with some pbrs. Just wish they were colder! We had a couple put on ice so problem solved. I got the orange shrimp bowl. Delicious! Plenty of shrimp comes with rice and broccoli. Hubby got pastrami on marvel rye. They did forget the cheese but brought some out to us. Neighbors got bangers and mash. Another great choice! And shepherd's pie. You can't go wrong here. Finished it off with some dessert. Peanut butter pie. Great night and service was great too!

Love the place, got a Ruben and a mahi mahi and neither disappoint. Great service and decent prices!

Assuming their menu is a reflection of better days past, I hope they get it back. Eat here in the name of hope.

The menu is huge so our server had to come back several times while we decided. LOL! We finally decide on the French toast breakfast with roasted potatoes and a few over medium eggs. The French toast was delightful and came with a cinnamon sugar butter ( no syrup necessary) my eggs were over cooked which is why this is a four start review and not five. The potatoes were roasted to perfection and salted, so good! The chorizo breakfast crepes were also delicious! The crepes were light, and flavorful the eggs, chorizo, cheese and side of sauces were perfect and was just filling enough not to be heavy. My dates lobster Brie Bennie was delicious as well, their only complaint was the water crest they added as a garnish atop the sandwich which she easily picked off. The ambiance was a bit busy for my taste even if it was a Saturday morning but other than that, five stars. Because it's right near the beach, get there early unless you don't mind waiting.

Our server , Karlyn was amazing and had such great energy. We chatted about food , yelp and travel and her and my little one chatted about toys and coffee lol. I ordered a caramel cappuccino for my breakfast along with the country fried steak and eggs, home potatoes and biscuit and holy moly I didn't even make a dent ! Portions are huge . My little one had the kid jr French toast breakfast with a scrambled egg and extra bacon and said it was delicious. Service here is truly amazing and everyone was polite and conversed. Because of my Yelp check in , I received a free cookie which was so good we ended up taking a few back to the hotel for later. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and do have an all day menu as well as a smaller portions menu. We are definitely coming back tomorrow for breakfast again but I'll be picking for the smaller menu lol.

We walked in and were sat immediately and our server Paige was super nice and made great recommendations we eventually settled on the chicken biscuit to share, the corned beef skillet and the lumberjack breakfast. The corned beef skillet was the best thing we had today which was well seasoned, tender and full of flavor, the home fries were okay and the over medium eggs were perfectly done. The lumberjack breakfast was Huge but just okay, not good not great. The homemade biscuit was very mealy and dry, not flaky and buttery like a good biscuit should be. The owner came out and apologized for the biscuit being what I described as a "disappointment" which it was because as I explained to my server, the owner and the other kitchen manager, I have been all over the world eating great food and this doesn't measure up. The chicken biscuit was also very okay. We ended up leaving 3/4 of the food we ordered on the plates to be thrown in the trash. The ambiance was exactly wheat you would expect from a diner on a Sunday morning that attached to a mall, busy, kinda loud and people everywhere. I really wanted to like this place but it's a NO for me.

To be fair, we were told by the manager to call, give them another chance to make it right etc. However, we didn't call and only gave them a second chance this morning with friends. The reason I didn't call to "make it right" was I want the experience I have at a restaurant to be organic, and not get special or specialized treatment because we made a complaint. Now, on to our adventure today. We (a party of 4) arrived around 1020ish and were seated pretty quickly. The restaurant was pretty full, which was expected as it was a Sunday morning. The lady who seated us (not our waitress...tall with long dark hair) was very friendly, chatty, and funny. We appreciated her service. Our waitress was quite inattentive. We each got a cup of coffee, along with waters, iced tea, etc. Once we got our drinks and the orders were placed, we didn't see the waitress again until after the food was delivered (i.e., a very, very long time). The tall dark-haired lady finally came around and refilled our coffee/tea/water after they had all sat empty for 10+ minutes. The wait for the food was so, so, so long. We waited close to 45+ minutes for our food (nothing special, nothing fancy, straight up off the menu, no changes or alterations). This has not improved since the last time we were there and it is just baffling to me that it takes so long to get food out. The biscuits and gravy were enjoyed enjoyed, however 2 of the 4 biscuits were so hard she could not cut them with the fork, and with very very great difficulty with the knife. The tops of the biscuits were soft and pillowy but the bottom were pucks. This time the eggs seemed to have been cooked properly My husband was not happy with the omelette he got, and they took that off the bill without us asking. She did mention that she could have another order put in for him but (and these are her words), "It would take about 15 hours for you to get your new plate of food." We declined a new order and thanked her for taking it off the check. I got a sandwich and it was fine, nothing special but also not awful. Our other friend got a full breakfast platter which he enjoyed. He said the pancakes were very fluffy. So, in this updated review, I have increased the stars for the food because it wasn't *as* awful as last time, but still problematic. The worst thing, which was an issue with our first visit, is the wait time for food. It is just too. dang. long. I look at a place like Lennys, where we would have been in, seated and eating by the time we got our first coffee refill (also much too long in a breakfast place.....just....have coffee ready??). We did note when we walked in there were only 3 servers for the dining room --- perhaps they were short staffed which is why we only saw our server 4 times --- once for drinks, once to take food orders, and once to check on food, and once to drop the check. It was the lady who seated us who had a great rapport with the table, who was cheerful and friendly who can take credit for the two stars in ambience. In the end, we gave them another shot. No one at the table was impressed. The kitchen is woefully slow. The service was inattentive. we will not be coming back.
