My husband and I stopped here for dinner on a Saturday evening (around 5:30-6 pm). We decided to sit outside because the weather was nice and it looked a little bit more pleasant. They are dog-friendly on the patio, which I love dogs, but it's a little bit gross to see the dogs sitting on the chair cushions. Obviously the customers should have a little bit of common sense and keep their dogs on the floor. We started with the mozzarella stick appetizer. I'm not picky about cheese sticks, but these weren't worth $6.50. For that much money I thought they'd be the big thick ones, but they were more like the kind you can buy in the freezer section at the grocery store. No big deal though, but really only worth about $4. I ordered the French Burger. It came exactly as described on the menu - with only cheddar cheese and bacon. I usually prefer my food on the blander side, but the meat wasn't seasoned at all. My husband ordered the Jack Daniels sirloin, and his was cooked and seasoned perfectly. He really liked it. The fries here are delicious! I ate every single last one, and even thought about picking at some of my husbands :) The server was very friendly, but we waited a very long time to both get the check and get our receipt. I think she had a lot of tables because we could see her running around. We'll definitely go back if we're ever in the area again. I want to try the Irish Cordon Bleu next time.. Great atmosphere great staff. however I was there last Friday and a employee came in late for work complaining about Dunkin' Donuts and her order being screwed up scream and yelling at staff being very very unprofessional. My family and I frequent this restaurant multiple times a week and was very disappointed that this is at least the third time that we've seen this employee act in such a manner that she shouldn't even be working or be a manager she is very unprofessional and every aspect of this business. This has been addressed with multiple poor levels of different management and other staff and nothing has been done to take care of the situation. Been here a few times as I'm local. Personally I think it's still open because they are close to the hospital and beach and offer strong drinks and drink specials....food has never been a fav here! Shepherds pie is terrible! Lots of cheese on top I believe is to cover the lack of flavor in the dish! French onion soup they offer could actually use more cheese and less salt! Friend had chicken wings that were over cooked and hard. Nicely asked waitress for another order and it finally arrived,after we got our bill! Yes,chicken wings were on it! Decent Irish pub with good outdoor seating. I had the Shepherds Pie and it was very good. I also had a bowl of some kind of bean soup, cannot remember the name but it was tasty. The only reason that I took away a star is they don't serve Harp Beer on draft. I would definitely recommend the restaurant as their other dishes looked appetizing. This restaurant has a long history and has been a favorite for many years, however it seems that resting on that laurel is working. I had a pastrami sandwich which turned out to be some pastrami with my bread. The bread swallowed up the petite portion of meat and all for 15.00! Totally not worth it. Went here with a group on May 28th. Not very busy. I had the Cobb Salad was pretty good. This was the day of the Indy 500 and it was not showing on any of the TV's. Asked about it and no one could figure out how to bring it up on screen. Granted this is not a sports bar but it woud have been nice if someone knew how to operate the TV. read more

Went here for dinner tonite. We were not to impressed . Restaurant was not very busy and service was very slow. Waters showed up after the French onion soup. The soup was pretty good. We also ordered the wings. Not to impressed they were dry. I ordered the Shepherds Pie. It was really bad. Pub grub that's hot and a lot. The menu was pretty expansive, but I took my time with it as I snuggled into the comfy booth and watched the private TV in there. You can change the channel and volume if you choose which is awesome. The décor is standard for an Irish flavored pub which I was digging. The twelve top beside us was taken by the Clearwater Firefighters who really knew how to order so we were privileged enough to get to see a lot of the dishes on the menu. The ribs looked great, the tacos were huge and piled so high, served in taco holders too. I decided I'd be able to gauge my experience by ordering standard tater skins. They were totally standard. What made em great was the service. Server let us know the key Lime Pie was made in house so that's what we went with and it was killer! Will certainly be back. read more

This was my best friend's tale of her horrible experience at this place for a St. Patrick's Day party. $5 to get in, then $9 for a cheeseburger. She said, "NEVER, EVER again!" We went here on karaoke night so the place was *hopping*. Despite that, the waitress was excellent and everything came in a very timely manner. Their burger selections were excellent, mostly because they had some awesome ones I had never heard of. You can even get a burger made of raw meat!!! I got a California burger with no bun (no carbs for me!) and an excellent avocado sauce. Side salad was also delicious and it was 2 for 1 beer night, so I had two Michelob Ultras (don't judge me, I can't have carbs and this is the lowest carb one out there! :P) We will be back, for sure, but I think not on karaoke night, because there were soooo many people there, it was packed! read more

My daughter is very sensitive to MSG. I talked to the manager for about 20 minutes about MSG in the food. He assured me over and over that the place had no MSG. We ordered fish and chips. He lied about the MSG. My daughter has a severe reaction and was in the hospital for a week. The hospital bill should be about $100,000. read more

Went to this place for the first time last night. We had great service by Tyler who was behind the bar. He gave us the history of the place and was very knowledgeable.
