    I replaced my cabin filter!  It was gross!!

    Descent service once you get the employees to notice you. Gotta speak up, otherwise you might be ignored. Know what part you're looking for. Request that part, pay, and be on your way. They seem to work better with phone customers. I did not know the cabin filter needed changing about every 6 months. I thought it was done with the oil change. Nope. I didn't know it's on a different rotation then oil changes! Also, didn't know it was part of ownership. Filter changes need to be done about every 12000 miles. I'm for sure way past that on this vehicle. Cabin filter was gross. How embarrassing! See pictures posted below. Totally, my fault for not being educated/informed. Research stuff via the internet on your car. Google is your friend!! Employee, sent me down an isle. Well, all that stuff looks the same. It's not as easy as pick that color lipstick, and boom you're done. Everything comes in a minimum of 200 sizes per object needed. What a hot mess I'm into! Eventually, the employee noticed I was lost. He returned to help me. I got the feeling if I'd not been a woman, I'd have been there for a long time. Since we know men almost never ask for help or get lost. I will return because they seem to always have the parts I need. 2021

    I just had a bad experience with Autozone at Allen TX. I was waiting in line for service. One young…read moreman hurrily walked past me to get his parts checked out. I assumed that he was really in a hurry. But when this young man finished checkout and I was walking toward the cashier, an older South Asian man walked in the door carrying some items to return, cut right in front of me. I was really frustrated and I asked him to wait for his turn. He ignored me like he didn't understand. The clerk did not do anything to right the wrong. Seeing the injustice, I raised my voice on the Indian gentleman. Instead, another clerk stepped in to tell me to calm down. I feel the clerks should respect the orders in the store and not let unruly customers run the show.

    Brought daughter's car in and had codes read. Supposedly PCV valve bad and cylinder one recorded…read moretoo many misfires. They did not have the PCV valve in stock. Had to go to O'reillys for that. Came back and had check engine code read again, same thing minus the PCV code. Which by the way on the Volkswagen Tiguan engine a bad PCV valve can throw a cylinder one misfire code. Just swap coil packs and see of cylinder misfire changes, at least you can rule out coils. PCV valves are notorious for going bad in a volkswagon. The car ran better but still had problem. Bought 4 spark plugs and socket, which is special for that type of plug and replaced in parking lot. Drove it, check engine light off. Thank you auto zone for offering all the servicing you do and the parts and letting me fix it on the parking lot. Person that helped me was super helpful and nice. Store was clean and parking lot easy to get to work plenty of parking.

    The main reason is that I'm giving a BAD rating is I had order a part $160.00 and the part was…read morebroken, so I had them order another part. Also had to run to Sherman Tx, 20 miles to pick up the defective part. They were to check it and they didn't, it was broken as well. I didn't find out until I had gone out there to pick it up. Okay, so you may say that third time a charm, right. Not, the third one was sent out to the shop doing the work. They did a great job in putting it in! But when I went to pick the car up, they told me that the wire harness was missing from the part; they had to remove it from the old one and put it back on the new part (cooling fan, 2006 Toyota) . So when confronted the O'Relies manager said that it wasn't their problem and clearly he had no idea what was going on. He wasn't prepared to call anyone, especially me, he didn't have a clue about anything around the situation. Then he started to explain that it was the shop's fault for not calling O'Relies back? I asked him for the DMs number and he refused to give me any information. I'm sure the person is not up to be a manager, no people skills, rude, and passes the ball off to others to take the fall. I'm now waiting for the DM to call me back. And I will be wanting respect and reimbursement for the faulty parts. I'm not Impressed! Management skills lacking, people skills zero. And the fact that his didn't hone up?? I rate him a zero, and that's giving him too much credit.
