Following a car accident, I trusted Rich's Auto with body and suspension repairs. Daniel (office supervisor) and Julian (adjuster) were dismissive of my serious concerns. Rich's Auto subcontracted the suspension work to 'Super Shop,' who not only failed to fix the issues but also damaged the lower control arm. I ultimately took the car to Midas, where they immediately identified and repaired the safety issues missed by Rich's. I had to diagnose the body, alignment, and door issues myself, only to have Rich's staff argue with me and act condescendingly regarding their faulty workmanship. Rich's Auto Repair hired Super Shop for accident-related suspension repairs, but they only applied temporary, unsafe patches despite multiple attempts to fix it. After Super Shop repeatedly failed to properly repair the vehicle, I took it to MIDAS, who correctly addressed the issues and fixed the damage caused by Super Shop's negligent work.

First the dual price is NOT told to you when you select the service you want, give them your keys, and go sit in the lobby. It's only told to you when you go to pay after the service is completed. There are signs in the lobby. I didn't notice them until it was too late. I'm sorry but credit card fees are just the price of doing business. I'm paying $100+ for the service. You can eat the $3. Or don't advertise a price on huge banners outside. It's a bait and switch. Outside the service is $99. Inside they charge you $104. Again it's not about the $4. It's about the dishonesty. I pulled into SpeeDee Oil Change & Auto Service, and the gentleman there immediately asked how he could help. I explained the situation, and he quickly checked all my tires, letting me know the right front was low--but took care of it right away and made sure everything was good. This wasn't my first visit either. Just two weeks earlier, I had my oil changed and got my smog certificate done there. Each time I've come in, I've been greeted in a friendly, professional manner, and the service has always been efficient and reliable. It's reassuring to know there's a place like this you can stop at, even unexpectedly, and get honest, helpful service. Definitely a shop I feel comfortable returning to.

*KEEPS GETTING TAKEN DOWN* *REPOST*…read moreI took my car to Jiffy Lube in Merced Ca on V Street for an oil change and left with an UNSAFE DRIVING Vehicle!! My air intake was ripped in the processes of the worker putting it back to its original position. The car was APPROVED READY & DEEMED Safe to Drive by multiple employees. I didn't find out my air intake was ripped until the next day on the highway. My car bogged out and dropped MPH quickly causing cars behind me to slam on their brakes and go around. This could've easily caused a tragic accident and nobody would've even known that JIFFY Lube on V Street in Merced was responsible!! My last post got deleted here in Yelp about this incident.
