I had help from Amir who tested my battery that was failing under the 2 yr warranty and still showing it can be charged on the trickle charger... Amir went above and beyond when the battery wasn't taking a charge well or fast enough and made the executive decision to warranty it for a new one especially in the case I'm crossing the country with a new truck and faulty battery and now I can stress less. Went to get my battery changed out because I had a bad battery. The men working said they couldn't install it because of "protocol". Seems fishy considering any other store would do it without the "proper computers" They simply didn't want to change my battery for me but were kind enough to jump my car so I could go to advance auto parts to get a new battery, better service, and a good experience. I mean, they get a star because I have to give one. But when I'm told that I'll receive a call when my battery is done being tested, I expect it to not take over an hour and no phone call to find out that it's done. Wound up coming back because it had been so long, and they were not at all busy and the battery had been sitting on the counter for an hour and 20 minutes. On top of that, the selection as far as parts was pretty slim unless you're a man/manly. Either that or over the top girly. Couldn't find what I was looking for. On the bright side, at least I was able to get a new battery. But that's pretty much the only positive that came out of this visit. And actually, I'm editing to take that last part back. Went to get new windshield wipers at this o'Reilly auto part store. Mind you it's pouring rain outside. This was my fist time getting windshield wipers. They were extremely helpful in getting me what I was looking for. The man who was checking me out said he would help me put them on. We go out to put them on in the POURING rain. I don't write reviews, but Ray at the O'Reilly Auto Parts in Jacksonville Beach deserves a commendation. I just wanted a windshield wiper for my 2019 Hyundai Sante Fe. I visited other auto parts stores that were closer to my home in Ponte Vedra, Florida. They didn't have what I needed. When I stopped by O'Reilly in Jacksonville Beach, I was greeted by Ray (last name?). I told him what I needed. He said, "I think we can help you." The next thing I knew, he found the part and went out to the vehicle and installed it... and, the price was cheaper than I could find it on the internet! I was so impressed, that I asked him for some other things that I needed. He gave me some recommendations and I took his advice. I am an O'Reilly customer forever! 5/5 stars... 2019. I was in town for a work trip, and thought an evening walk on the beach was a good idea. Until I returned to a dead car. Got a jump and went to this location, where Frankie was SO incredibly friendly and helpful. He went the extra mile to diagnose the battery condition, and when it came to be that it was something outside of the scope of fixing in a parking lot, he was HONEST with me about it and gave me a recommendation for where I could take it for repair. He could have sold me an expensive battery that would have been ruined in a few days, but his integrity is greater than that, which is rare in this world. Stop down here to get a fuse or circuit breaker for my car. My power windows wouldn't work so I figured let me stop in here and come get some help I'm sure somebody can help me out since I don't know too much about cars... I pulled out the circuit breaker for the power window walked inside and asked the man in there if you can help me out and see if this was for my power windows.. very very rudely he said that's a circuit breaker and I don't know what it could be for.... it just blew me away because I was so hot I was so sweaty me and my husband had a long drive and we just asked one question and we were hoping for some help and for somebody be so rude to us we walk back to the car and run or manual for a while. Who is an older gentleman I guess he was in a bad mood but again we walk back in and we asked him is there anyway you can find out if this is the correct circuit breaker that we need for the car or if we can touch one for the car.... he pretty much ignored us and just stared at the computer until then I cannot help you... so we laughed and said okay we'll just go somewhere else.... I will never go back to this place ever again there's too many options out there they need to hire somebody there that at least knows what they're doing we have been there before and had hoped it was a younger gentleman and help us out greatly but this older man was very mean and I wish I had his name.... they told us I'm the manager here and I cannot help you.... so we just took her merry way to Advance Auto and they help us ...greatly... read more

I was scheduled to take a friend to an outpatient medical procedure at a new hospital near the airport. The trip, one way, is about 40 minutes. Because he had to be there at 7:30 a.m. on a Monday, we were going to be traveling in the early morning darkness. Sunday, about 5:30 p.m., the bulb in one of my headlights died. I was able to find an open auto parts store (not O'Reilly's), and bought a bulb. The clerks in the store tried unsuccessfully to replace the bulb. At 6:00 p.m. On a Sunday, I doubted I could find an open auto parts store. Wrong. O'Reilly's was open, and a nice young man named Shawn adroitly replaced the bulb in my headlight. He had a great, helpful attitude. With a smile, he teased, "Next time, buy your bulbs at O'Reilly's." I plan on it! read more
