Response was quick and informative. Fortunately there was a cancelation and i was able to take the appointment. I dropped off my car and the options were confirmed to have a ceramic tint. This establishment does not participate in Groupon since the quality of materials is much better here and they do not cut corners. Trimming is all done by hand with craftsmanship and pride in the product. This place also has experience with applying Tesla cars which can be important. Since there are establishments that will not touch these cars. We discussed pricing and this place came in about average for other places. I had to repeatedly call the shop myself just to get updates. I was originally told my car would be ready Wednesday. Then I was told Thursday. On Thursday, I was suddenly told they had to reorder a part, so it wouldn't be ready until Friday. After all of that waiting, I finally picked up my car Friday--only to get home and discover a coolant spill. I was extremely upset, called the shop, and was told to have the car TOWED back to them. After waiting days for my car to supposedly be properly repaired, having to tow it back because of an issue immediately after picking it up was completely unacceptable. And it didn't end there. When we picked up the car again, we drove off the lot and received a notification that the hood was open. This is a serious safety concern and completely unacceptable after a vehicle has supposedly been inspected and is ready for the customer to drive. I was told the hood was intentionally left that way because they wanted to "shut it gently." They are an auto repair shop, so the fact that the hood was not properly secured before handing the car back to us is honestly baffling to me. I contacted the owner because I was extremely upset and wanted to give him the opportunity to address what happened. His response was essentially that his team had been on vacation and that this had unfortunately caused a bad experience for me. Honestly, that response made me even more frustrated. I understand that people go on vacation. What I don't understand is why the customer is left to deal with the consequences of staffing issues, poor communication, delays, a coolant spill that required a TOW, and a hood that wasn't properly secured--and then the response is essentially, "Unfortunately, this happened to you." There was no offer to compensate us for the inconvenience, no meaningful attempt to make the situation right, and no real sense of accountability. I have never had a mechanic experience this frustrating. I expected much better communication, attention to detail, quality control, and customer service. The entire experience was stressful, inconvenient, and completely unacceptable. For reference, the repair was around $3,700 with the car being at the shop almost 2 weeks. I would seriously think twice before bringing my vehicle here again.

They installed a BDS lift kit on my Ram 2500, and 8 months later I experienced a serious steering…read moreissue that nearly caused me to lose control of the truck. When I brought the vehicle back, I was informed that hardware was missing from the installation and that additional parts would need to be replaced. What disappointed me most was how the situation was handled. Instead of taking ownership or providing clear evidence of what had happened, I was told the issue was likely caused by another shop performing a re-torque, despite no documentation or proof being provided to support that claim. I requested photos, documentation, and an explanation of why certain components needed to be replaced. The biggest frustration was the warranty support. The installation was still within HKP's one-year workmanship warranty, yet I was told the repairs would not be covered. Rather than helping me work through the warranty process, I was left to handle everything myself. I contacted BDS directly, and their technical support questioned whether replacing the entire OEM track bar was even necessary. They requested photos and documentation from the shop to evaluate the situation. HKP did not work with BDS to facilitate the warranty process or help obtain the replacement parts. Instead, I had to personally communicate with BDS, gather the required information, and coordinate the warranty claim on my own. In the end, BDS honored their warranty and provided the replacement parts, which I greatly appreciate. When customers pay a professional shop to install aftermarket suspension components, they should expect support if something goes wrong, especially when the installation is still within the shop's workmanship warranty. Having to manage the manufacturer's warranty myself after experiencing a serious safety-related issue was both frustrating and disappointing. To HKP's credit, they did communicate with me during parts of the repair process. However, when it comes to suspension work and vehicle safety, I expected much better accountability and customer support. I ultimately paid to get my truck back on the road, but the overall experience left me disappointed. Based on my experience, I would recommend that anyone having suspension work done request detailed before-and-after photos, torque records, and written documentation of any repairs or recommendations. Hopefully HKP improves both its communication and warranty support so future customers don't have to go through the same experience.

They answered right away, were friendly, and made it easy to get my car in the very same day.
