I have used this store a number of times. It has been helpful in the past but I recently went there to buy a rear wiper blade for my 2006 Jeep Liberty and the young man who helped me told me they did not sell that wiper blade. I asked him to please print out the part name and number so that I could buy it online. I unfortunately trusted that he knew what he was doing because he worked at an auto parts store. I ordered it online (E-Bay) and tried to install it when the wiper arrived. It did not work/fit because it was the wrong part. I went to Big O tires and they further confirmed it was the wrong part and they did not have the correct part either so I gave them the incorrect wiper blade after they kindly told me that San Pablo Automotive had the correct part. I went there and got what I needed and got help putting it on. I plan for San Pablo Automotive to be my new go-to for car parts. read more

I was having a really off day- my child was sick and at the same time my car wouldn't start I called o'reilly's because I noticed that my battery was sold there after googling who sold the battery brand. I didn't recall the exact date it was purchased and I wanted to check if it was under warranty. Monti (sorry if I misspelled it)was great at helping research if the battery was still under warranty. He was very resourceful and treated me with the most respect and professionalism. He went beyond to actually research if my battery was under warranty and assisted me with getting back on the road. Some people are at jobs for the money and some people are really there to help others and he is an example of that. I ended up buying a new battery and was up and running. They have served many guys who arrived after me before even though I am in line... 3 peoples in front of me turned into 6 and about 1hr even though they were 3 workers at the time. Calling in the night & talking with a friendly manager who let me know it would be no trouble switching out a battery for a car that barely made it there walking in I get greeted by a passive rep named Luis. Working with the other associate who was pleasant I ask if they can help (per our conversation the evening before) as I don't have the 10-inch wrench, luis cuts in that no one can help since there's no staff (no ones there) & you should be able to install this yourself. Condescension was prevalent throughout our two minute talk. I returned the $200 battery within a minute & asked if "there was someone else I could talk too?" I went here to purchase brakes what should have been my first sign this place wasn't good was there was no one in this store. I told them I needed brakes for a g35 infinity they punched in the information and grabbed the brakes no problem. The next day I drive to get them installed and they are the wrong brakes!! First off what is the point in looking all the information up and come back with the wrong thing?anyway I quickly head back to this location to get the right brakes(keep in mind I had a early appointment to get this done at the mechanics so time is a issue) I get there again not a person shopping in this auto parts store tell the cashier my problem and she looks up the item again. She says well the person who checked this before did something in correct the brake shoes you have are not in stock however we have these MORE EXPENSIVE ones available.Ok this was only a ten dollar price difference but I feel this should be overlooked due to the fact that it was all your fault. I just asked for my money back and went to the local Autozone were I got the same item with a lifetime warranty for ten dollars CHEAPER.i am sorry but the only requirement I have only one requirement from a auto parts store is to be right, that's it ,don't guess I wish I could give lower than one star don't go here. read more
