They had everything we needed & even rented out big tools if you needed them. We will continue coming here for our automotive needs. read more

I had not been in here since I think it belonged to another firm. I found them adequately staffed so I didn't have to wait at the counter. Of the three auto parts stores in south Salem I would rate them #2 behind Napa (maybe a dead heat with Napa but Napa's staff seem much more gracious) and wayyy ahead of Autozone. I've never bought big, expensive parts here but I did get a windshield shade and it was far and away superior in quality to those stocked by the other two chains. These folks seem to deserve a shot if you need quality accessories. read more

My Dad was a mechanic so I learned my way around Auto Parts stores very young. I always had good luck with O'Reilly back home so I called to order a part. I stated that I needed a DRIVER'S SIDE windshield wiper arm replacement as I was vandalized the night before. I was asked all the right questions as to make, model, etc. I ordered on a Saturday and was told it would be in on Monday. I stated that because it was my left/driver's side wiper arm I was nervous about driving in the rain. I called back and asked if the wiper arm included the wiper blade. I was told that it did not. I asked to add that to my order. I asked of it was a set of two. I was told no it was just one. I asked to add both the driver's side and the passenger side blades to my order. When I went to pick up my new wiper arm. I was told it was for my rear window not my windshield and not the driver's side. I don't understand how my order could have gotten mixed up like that when I used the words driver's side and passenger side multiple times in both conversations. Also I wouldn't need two wiper blades if it was for my rear window. I was told they could not order the correct part for me and that I should call my car dealer or go to a junk yard. When I got home I went on their website and sure enough the only wiper arm they have available for my vehicle is the rear one. So it's not like the employee who placed the order had to scroll through multiple wiper arms to choose the right one. There was only one to choose from and clear as day it was the wrong one. Considering that it rains so much here in Salem, Oregon that would have been really good information to have on Saturday not on Monday night when I can't do anything about it. I did call my car dealer on Saturday but parts was already closed which is why I called O'Reilly. I didn't call my car dealer today/Monday because I believed I had my part on order and was picking it up tonight. If you have a customer who is ordering a part that directly affects safe driving and time is of the essence, it might be a good idea to make sure you are ordering the correct part. read more

The old guy John that works here is a dick. He'll tell you to wait for him to help and then ignore you while he helps other people until 20 minutes later a coworker helps you and it takes him about 1 minute. Then he's too good to even give an apology, or say anything at all. It took restraint not to knock everything off a shelf while I was walking out. read more

Had to buy a new battery and the sales clerk here was very helpful and nice. Found the right battery for my truck and worked REALLY hard to get the old one out and the new one installed. Really appreciate the effort and time he spent. Thank you. read more
