All the diet cokes were expired for a few months. I let the cashier know..... he said he'd tell the manager. The next day I went to get a serpentine belt - wanted a diet coke....yep....all the expired cokes were still there. I asked for a manager.....and he took them out of the display and said he'd take care of it. A few days ago....went back to the Autozone for some things.....and ..... lo and behold.... ALL OF THE DIET COKES WERE EXPIRED......all of them. I took them out of the display and notified the cashier.... let's see if three times a charm. I realize this is petty but it isn't about expired coke.....it's about placated and lied to.....to my face. Oh well.....much bigger things in life to worry about.

It's the tires that can't last forever so used (good to better rated) I get from Afford It Tire & Wheels on 2164 North of Loop 288 a few minutes drive. There are numerous alternatives and I have purchased from a couple but none are so great as Afford It in every possible way, and I really mean every point of comparison. The inventory of both new and used is impressive. I suggest calling ahead and Li'l Rock will be ready when you arrive. 30 minutes is all you need to get 2 tires replaced (old off, newly acquired set mounted, balanced and installed. That would include completing the biz part. The founder and co-owner along w/Li'l Rock is Henry. He is the "Tire Whisperer" and hunter gatherer of the shop's used tires. My size for the Chevy is a hard to find 16" model which I know to call a couple days ahead or a week is better for those more rare sizes & styles. I dare you to find a cleaner restroom and office/customer lounge in the County. I am always working with a limited budget which will push me out of many tire centers price range. I do not believe any budget can handle the prices here! Truly, I have a meager Senior Citizen fixed income with a adult child SLACKER at home who will not stop eating so I need a tire center who understands customers like me; I still get treated like a "heavy" with a wallet stuffed full of $100 dollar bills. This is the 2nd/Newest Afford It Tire Wheels location in Denton; the other is on University (380) just west of Loop 288 sitting on the South side of University. The folks at the University shop, Stacey usually handles phones & Admin. and Randy is the Principal who also does the mechanical and heavy lifting stuff, anything really. The entire staff are professionals at providing all the right wheels and tires then completing all necessary steps to mount, balance and install any sort of tires and wheels for almost any purpose. Basically after parts and labor it would possibly run me over $700.00...............yikes. not fun and not in the budget. I show the info to my neighbor and he says to get the parts he'll fix it for me. I make a call to O'Reilly's and they have two of the three in stock and can have the third part the next day. I've been to this store a number of times and they are always helpful and they almost always seem to have what I need. Plus they say on the phone that they will price match if you find something cheaper elsewhere. That's a good thing to know. Hopefully my car problems will be fixed soon, but I know that I can make a quick run over to O'Reilly's and I'm sure they will have what I need.

After a really bad experience at another local alignment shop I had trusted for 20 years, I wanted…read moreto share my experience with TRUXX for any Jeep owners in the area. I spent a good amount of money at the other shop having a 3.5" MetalCloak spring lift and Bilstein 5100 shocks installed along with an alignment, only to end up with a severe death wobble the minute I left the shop. I brought the Jeep back and explained the issue. They performed another alignment, charged me again, and then told me they couldn't stop the death wobble and had done all they could do. At that point, I was basically left hanging out to dry. I then contacted Ethan at TRUXX. They looked over my 2023 JT and immediately knew what needed to be addressed. I left the Jeep with them, and they had everything corrected within 24 hours after the parts arrived. The Jeep now drives the way it should -- and then some. If you own a Jeep in Denton County and need suspension, steering, alignment, or death wobble diagnosis, I highly recommend TRUXX. They are extremely knowledgeable, know Jeeps inside and out, and actually take the time to properly diagnose the problem instead of guessing. A+++ experience
