This guy has zero clue what he's doing and incredibly unprofessional. Avoid. I went here because it's next door to me and on a time crunch, never in my life have had any issues properly and legally inspecting and passing my car of 8 years without any changes. It's modified within the legal limits with top of the line parts and within legal sound limits. Have discussed this with many police officers as well in the past while knowing the up to date handbook. Guy has zero real knowledge of legalities, safety, or regulations, and has zero customer service skills which should be a necessity. "I can't inspect your car" as he drools with no real explanation other than "too loud" when it's factually not and is a legal exhaust system, no louder than anything on any other road legal performance vehicle or truck. I've been in the automotive industry for 15 years working for the top automotive companies that also do inspections and know how it works like the back of my hand, meanwhile this guy makes false, uneducated excuses to push away customers with safe and legal road cars. Waste of time and not up to standard. Go to a more reputable inspection place whether it's a dealership or reputable shop. Which is what I'll be doing as I do every year anyway. read more

I should've listen to everyone's review and complaints because I went this afternoon and ran into the lady that y'all must've been talking about. The first thing she did was hit the curb in my car and dented my rims. She then proceeds to fail me because I had a flat...from the curb she hit. I can't make this up. She repeatedly touched my personal belongings in my car while trying to find the mileage? There's no need for you to open my trunk or go through my console. She did everything wrong in my eyes from all the inspections I've ever done and it's crazy that I got my inspection from here last year with a guy that was way better. The only reason we have utilized this place has been purely for convenience and nothing more. The customer service is truly nonexistent. It's like being at the DMV. You are clearly just a number and nothing more. The woman who works there is very abrasive, rude and disrespectful. There are plenty of other options out there. they damaged my OBD port and tried to tell me that it's not the original one. took it to back to the dealership that it was at prior and they said that they forced it in that's why it was damaged called the inspections location and they were telling that it was my fault.... I had my car front tires changed about year ago brand new and this lady that works there didn't check the tires right instead charged me and told me to go get new 4 new tires. I had my car checked at walmart and they said. I only needed 2 rear tires and this lead failed my inspection and said go get 4 new tires rather than 2 new rear tires. Do your self a favor and don't go there if your car fails inspection they will not tell you until they charge the fee and then they will tell you to come back within few days if not they will charge you again. Lady that works there is rude. Regret that I went there every year for the past 5 years. read more

I cannot recommend this inspection site enough! Quick. Convenient. Awesome. My car initially wouldn't pass inspection due to my front tires. Instead of charging me anyway he just said get new tires and come back. I did and in about 5 minutes I was inspected. I couldn't believe how not busy they were and the fella running the place today was extremely friendly. As long as I live in this county this will be my go to place for state inspections. read more

Staff is friendly and dependable. A very courteous lady met me and explained the process, then asked me to wait while she did the inspection. A very rude man honked at her and tried to argue that he was next (but he had to drive passed my car in order to get to where he could see her. He saw that I was already waiting, but figured he could argue his way into being next). The female inspector didn't miss a beat. She politely explained to him (what he already knew) and came back to my car and finished the process "with a smile". We had such a great experience with Express State Inspections. Normally we go to places that do state inspections in addition to other services, and it always takes forever. We showed up at 11 a.m. on a Saturday, and it was so fast. There is 1 person there doing the inspections, but it ran like a well oiled machine-- fast, efficient, and friendly. I went there for inspection few months ago. There was a minor thing that needed quick replacement. They didn't have one and I asked is it ok if I come after 10 days. After I returned back to town, I went there. They told me that I have to pay inspection fees again as it is over 7 days. I don't mind paying but I wasn't happy with the integrity and honesty of the people working there. read more

I went there on Saturday April 24, 2021 for routine annual emission inspection. This guy came across in a very militant fashion - checked my one-year old front tires (I drive a luxury car and the tires are pricey) and decided that I needed new tires. He also looked at the rear tires (they are older than the front tires) and decided that I needed two rear tires; according to his warped mind, I needed to go purchase FOUR new tires before he will conduct the emission test. The guy appeared to be making new rules - I was there for EMISSION test only. I left and within 45 minutes, I passed the emission the test at a more professional test facility. Prospective customers should watch out when they visit this facility or AVOID it! I will NEVER use that facility. read more

I took my SUV for inspection and the test was normal but the lady was taking pics of my vehicle or either me and was very odd acting. Now the next morning after 4 yrs of having my vehicle parked in the same place it was stolen. Coincidence? No. They run a scheme at this place. If you have a nice car don't get here. read more

The fellow said my tire tread depth did not meet the specs even though I was sure it was OK. I then went to Discount Tire and they said the depth was fine and should have passed the inspection. In fact, the tire was clearly above the wear bar at all points across the tire. So beware if you go there. read more
