Really great service. Staff really know their automotive product. I often see customers fixing their cars in the parking lot and staff assist when needed with advice. There is something very community oriented and old school about this process. I have no knowledge in cars and appreciate maintenance. I believe I read that customers can borrow specialized tools. I could be wrong. I'm so happy a place like this exists. The slogan is super catchy and I like the various locations. The smell of the various oils and car lubricants brings me back to my late grandpa who had a garage with tons of car tools. He fixed up anything from vintage cars to tractors. I picture the movie Gran Torino. It's that imagery of Clint Eastwood and going to O'Reilly's. The next generation may not know how to fix cars because it's not passed down. Amazing service - quick, efficient, friendly, prices are good, what more could you ask for? Came here on a sunny Friday afternoon looking to get my battery checked as my car was dead two days in a row. I was greeted warmly and helped right away. The manager, Ambrosio, checked my battery and then jumped my car because my car had died in the parking lot. After that, he checked the battery again to ensure the issue was my battery and not something more serious like my alternator. Luckily, it was just my 2015 dated battery that needed to be replaced. Ambrosio installed the battery in less than 10 mins and I was on my way. Will definitely come back next time I need anything car related. read more

I'm giving this store specifically a rating based on my work experience here. I was employed during Covid, very genuinely cared about each customer that came through and thoroughly enjoyed helping assist with individual problems. I commuted from Tacoma every work day as a single mother. Not once have I ever felt so disrespected as I have here. I had my daughter enrolled in soccer starting in Spring. Upon requesting morning shifts to accommodate work and getting my child to and from soccer the manager Greg told me if I didn't show for a shift, weather it was scheduled during a time I had to take my daughter to soccer or not he would let me go. Calling and speaking to HR didn't help as it was a "employee disagreement." I would never recommend working under such a disrespectful company as this. Being a single mother isn't easy by no means and I was throughly shocked to the core given the response from corporates HR and the management. The standards for which people have to spend working need to change. Response and protection of employees need to change. NOBODY should have to deal with indecency working class or not. Everybody has rights and EVERY PERSON deserves respect. Corporate offices need to change the way they handle things. read more

The employees here are absolute gems. One guy actually came outside and helped a family install their new wipers. We came in because my headlight died. The guys there were so friendly, and were really happy to answer my questions about the different lines of bulbs, what exactly was different about them, if they actually made a difference in visibility, etc without making me feel judged in the slightest. They were so welcoming and helpful! The guy that rang us up was super helpful and gave me a few tips for installing the new bulb (getting a tight seal, a $1 oil that would help). Excellent service from Lazlo, Gabe, and the manager Greg. Gabe was quick and efficient helping me find and loaned me tools to fix a brake light. Next day Lazlo fixed me up with tire chains for crossing the pass and two days later Greg the Manager gave us friendly customer service when we returned them since we didn't need them. (we had a rental car.) Eventhough it's not their policy they understand that life doesn't follow a "policy". Thanks you've got a customer for life. read more

I had a dead battery and was able to get a jump to drive over here to check it out. They said they could take the battery out to try and charge it in the store for free. I decided to get a new battery as it was on the older side. They loaned me the tools I needed and I went to work in the parking lot. I am an idiot with cars and ran into a snag and an employee came out to help me. I'd recommend this place to anyone as the employees were super helpful and the prices seemed reasonable. read more

We had a really poor experience at this location. Bought a car battery there and within a couple of months it went bad - no problem, it was still under warranty so we brought it in. A nice manager named RP tested the battery and confirmed that it was bad and asked one of his employees to begin processing our refund. We didn't have the receipt so we opted to look it up by the phone number used for a rewards account. The phone number (my current number) was still registered in their system under the former owner so he said he would need to confirm it through the credit card used. I pulled out my 3 cards because I couldn't remember which one I had used and he began cursing saying things like "I can't do this sh*t" and "why does a person need 3 f*cking credit cards". We had to ask the manager to take over for the rude employee - RP quickly found the transaction and processed the refund professionally as the other employee stormed off. RP was really great, but we won't be returning as long as the other employee is still with the store. read more

This O'Reilly's is good. We stopped in here for some oil as my bf's car was ridiculously low. The store itself is well organized and full of pretty much anything auto related you need as well as household items. We grabbed some oil and a funnel and the guy grabbed a pair of pliers to help us remove the cap in the engine. No complaints. read more

Really helpful people here. I had a brake light that did not work. They have such a huge selection that I would not have had any idea of which one to pick. Not only did the guy behind the counter tell me which one I needed but he came out, took the broken one out, got me the right one and came out again and put it it!! Could not get much nicer. I needed new wind shield wipers. I got out of my car in the pouring down rain and was instantly greeted by an associate that was collecting the garbage. He could see me struggling and immediately came over to my aid and showed me how to remove the blade. I thought to myself, that looks easy! I can do this. He asked if I needed help with the other wiper and I said no as I would do it on my own. I did manage to get it off, however was not aware to always make sure you hold the stick the moves the whiper down gently as if it goes down fast, it will smack and crack your wind shield. True story! I went into the store on a mission to find the blades I would need. I was greeted by a young women who looked up my vehicle information and guided me to the size I would need. I looked at the selection of all the whiper blades and was debating which ones to buy. The associate, Viola came over and let me know what she knew were the best for Seattle and the sale that was going on. I got my blades and while cashing out she asked if I would like assistance putting them on. After already cracking my windshield, of course I'll take all the help I can get. Keep in mind its down pouring. She still came out and thats when I told her what happened with me taking it off. She was immediately apologetic and advised me to speak to the store manager. She said that there might be something they could do. She then showed me how to install them and installed them for me. She was very empathetic, kind and genuine! I got home and was tired from work so I didn't make any phone call to the store manager. The next day the store manager called me. I was shocked! I didn't expect such kindness for me busting my own windshield! The store manager, Jim or George I think was his name said they wanted to help me out and sorry that happened! They have me a repair kit for the damage to my vehicle! Absolutely amazing customer service during such crazy time we are all living in! About a month ago I went in to borrow the shop's code reader to find out why my check engine light was on. Unfortunately, the reader they had available wasn't working and they couldn't find their backup. This was a little disappointing at the time, I admit. However, overhearing the conversation, an employee, Marg, offered to let me use his personal code reader. He ran out to his car, and showed me the codes and explained what they meant. This kind of service needs to be appreciated, and it is what brings in loyal customers! I was going to give you all four stars, but I'm bumping it up to five for Marg! read more

Great service from Carlos. I came in to get wiper blades and a new dome light. Within a couple of seconds, Carlos greeted me and asked if I needed anything. I told him about my needs and he looked up the part number. A minute later he was walking me down the aisle picking out which wiper blades he recommended as well as the better light brands. Usually that would be the most expensive brand right? Nope, he pointed out what he usually uses which was medium in the price range. I bought the parts and Carlos didn't try to push anything else on me. I even told him that my wiper blades just wouldn't come off. So Carlos comes out with me to my car and helps install the wiper blades. I will definitely be back. Got it and out in less than 10 minutes and it only took a minute to get the old blades off and the new on. The prices aren't bad and the service is great. Also, from the people I've talked to at this O'Reilly's, there isn't much judgement if people don't know much about their car. read more

I had come to O'Reilly whenever my headlights need to be replaced. So far I've come to the store 3 times - twice in Lake City and one in Bothell. Out of those 3 times, the first two were very satisfactory. The staff were helpful in helping me find the correct bulb for my car, they rang me up, and helped me remove the dead bulbs and replace them with the new ones. It was very fast, and I knew I didn't need to tip but I wanted to - to show my appreciation of the help I was getting. Both tip were politely declined by them. The last experience I went to the store in Lake City, though, the experience was very different than the previous two. From the moment I pulled over to the parking spot, there was this guy staring at me in some kind of 'hatred'. I don't know what his problem was, but from his shirt I knew he worked there and was on his smoke break. I entered the store, there was another staff who was in the middle of helping another customer. I minded my own business trying to look for the bulb because I was already familiar with what I was looking for since I already bought the bulb before. I got the bulb in my hand just in time this guy who was on the smoke break was standing behind me and asking, "You need help?" I sensed the rudeness in his tone but I ignored it and told him that I was looking for a replacement bulb. He walked to his computer to look up the item. He walked back to the aisle and handed me the store-brand bulb. I told him that I've always used Sylvania all of this time (which I had in my hand already). He seemed exasperated and told me that it would be exactly the same, just that Sylvania would cost me more. I began to feel annoyed with his attitude because I could sense he must have stereotyped me as a female customer (or a spoiled brat) who had no knowledge and didn't understand at all about cars with plenty stupid questions that will annoy the hell out of him. I took his words that the bulb would be exactly the same like Sylvania bulb that I had.. At the cash register, I asked if he would be able to help me replace the bulb and he had a smirk on his face and told me, "Nope, you need to figure it out by yourself." I paid up and swore to myself that if I had to return to the store and this same guy still worked there, I would rather take my business elsewhere. I did figure out how to replace the bulb myself that night, but because of the different brands, my car ended up having one bulb brighter (Sylvania) than the other one (that store brand). I'm giving 2 stars considering the good experience I had the first two times I went to O'Rielly, but this guy really ruined it for me and had discouraged me from going back there ever since. read more

I am the type like to do on my own, if possible, so always O"Reilly guys know that I will be asking them questions until I get my answers. They are kind and patience if your questions don't make sense, in which possible since not all of us experts in cars. Also I found that you can find good deals and selection that fits your budget. Just went back today to replace a headlight that went out. My car's headlight was super tricky to remove because there are three screws in place that were incredibly inconvenient to remove due to their terrible placement. Luckily for me, Gabe was a complete godsend and took the time to help me out. Gabe was so competent at what he was doing and his customer service was amazing. Someone else probably would have walked away, but he was determined to figure it out. This has got to be the best auto part store in Seattle due to the people that management has hired. Came here to get a part for my car and I barely got a good hello. When I was helped, I purchased the part to go on my car, but the employee could not figure out how to put it on. When I asked the other employee if he could help me, he said he would try, but was afraid to get his hands dirty. I know next to nothing about cars, so I love when fixing hassles with them is easy. My car badly needed new wiper blades, but I couldn't seem to find the specifications in my owner's manual or online. This O'Reilly's had a nifty little computer screen in the Wiper Blade section to help me find precisely what I needed. And then there they were in stock, easy as pie. The guy at the register obligingly installed the wiper blades for free, helpfully let me know they had a one year warranty, and from start to finish I'd say the entire O'Reilly's process took less than ten minutes.
