Two stars for being IN the Estrella lake area. I'm not picky if the food is cheap however: Ordered an egg/cheese bagel and large coffee. Cost, just shy of $9. The coffee across the parking is better by a full mile and half the price. The other place also has the same white bread "bun/bagel/muffin/whatever" with the same bare bones egg and cheese for, once again, half the price. read more

Not everybody behind the counter was wearing masks. According to the manager, the woman who prepared my food was wearing a mask but the other two working in there we're not wearing masks. I work In the area and used to come often for a bagel sandwich for lunch. The bagels are good, and the sandwich is great -- but for me and a friend it was $33 for 2 sandwiches, 2 bags of chips, and 2 drinks. This is insane!! Since change of ownership, the quality of this bagel shop has rapidly gone downhill. Starting with the new owners rearranging the layout of the shop, it's unfortunately, not as welcoming as it used to be. And with an employee standing in front of the bagels, it makes it difficult to see the selection. Which brings me to my next point. In all the years prior, they store always had enough bagels to complete orders. However, the last two times I've been here, they've run out of most of the flavors quite early, leaving the morning rush lacking in varieties available. On two occasions, we've stood waiting to be acknowledged by any employee, even for them to say, "I'll be right with you," without this happening for at least ten minutes. Both times, we left and went to Safeway for bagels instead. Let me also just say, I understand when people are busy, it might take longer to get to everyone, but there were employees in the back, just talking to each other, along with one in the front who was cleaning the cases. Lastly, we were eating there once and the owner was on the phone, talking about how this store is just an investment he picked up as a quick flip. When Michelle owned the store, you could tell she truly loved what she was doing and loved the community. The new owners' lack of interest, other than making a quick buck, truly shows. My boyfriend and I found Oasis bagels on yelp and wanted to try something new since we were in the area, so we stopped by and got the blueberry bagel and he got the breakfast bagel with Taylor ham, eggs, and cheese. The bagels were SO amazing!!! As we were leaving we got to meet Jerry the owner and he was such a wonderful and nice guy. Told us how he wakes up early to make the bagels fresh every day. and the history of Oasis Bagels. We can't recommend this place enough! On the way out Jerry gave us some Biscotti to try and it was delicious! Best biscotti you can get on the west coast. Try this place if you are in Goodyear! read more

This is the perfect little breakfast nook ones searching for. It has a variety of different breakfast sweet and savory options. They have a grill in the back and make everything fresh to order. The ladies that worked both days I went (oops!) so sweet and polite and knew their folks coming in by name. Fair reasonable prices and worth it! Breakfast deliciousness in Estrella Mountain Ranch. If it happens to be a weekend it's best to call your order ahead so it's ready when you get there. Hear me out. This is the only place in the foothills that isn't a fast food chain, but damn that service and price point. I've been twice and both times they have messed up my order. I asked for a Bagel with Lox (Lox is on the menu) and both times I've gotten back the bagel with salmon cream cheese. The staff looked like they were having a good time, but four people working and my bagel with salmon cream cheese took over five minutes, this is with one person ahead of me. Come on.
