I've been coming here for a long time and get the same pedi treatment. Yesterday it wasn't the same. It was very quick and didn't do all what they normally do and I could see if it was busting busy but not! In fact some of the ladies were waiting for customers to come in. I was happy to see them w the proper Covid regulations and cleanliness. However i called and asked if they do designs and i showed them what i was looking for. They said yes and got to it. The guy doing my nails although nice kept complaining about having to do "too much filing". He didn't follow the pattern I asked for, but i figures I'd go w it. He kept complaining about the filing w the glitter and left it chunky. I assumed he would do more filing when i realizes he was done. And left ring finger nail empty. I asked if he would do the hearts and he said no that he doesn't know how. I asked him how does he not know how when the owner said he was the design technician and would do as the picture i showed. He then left to talk in their language and came back looking upset. He said he didn't know how so he would try- at that point the receptionist came over and even out loud joked "what do u mean u can't do a heart all of a Sudden?" He finished the hearts; they charged $50 for this and i left. Not even a week later my nails were lifting and hair was getting stuck in them. I went back a week later and the receptionist helped me glue them. Safe to say they look like I've had them for three weeks, they keep lifting, there's bubbles there's a opaque look to them. I think this is one of the best nails salon in Pinole. I been coming here over a year now, since my mom comes here. they always do what I asked for. Of course, just like any other nails salon, whenever I got my nails done multiple times a month for some reason twice the nails wouldn't last more than a week but whenever I went back to complain she fixed with no charge, since it usually would last 2-3 weeks. I am very pick and I'm always getting nails with designs, and Kelly usually have a lot patience with me. You know, I usually let them know if there's something I don't like about the shape, color, etc and they always does what I ask them. I always book with Kelly because she knows how I specific like certain designs so it's easy for me. read more

I was a long time customer about 15 years ago, and always loved how oasis did my nails. This time not so much. I had to ask the person who did my nails if she was going to straighten out the nail on my index finger and cut them short so that are very natural. By the picture you can see all the bubbles under the acrylic, and they are very thick and wavy. They used the dip method which is not nearly as good as the brush method. I didn't want to believe all the negative reviews, but the quality has really gone down after 15 years. I'm going somewhere else to get them fixed. read more

I came here as a walk in and they took me right in. The place itself is very chic and clean which I really appreciate. The massage chair was so great to use and very comfortable. They seemed pretty irritated that I wanted acrylics instead of dipped nails, and wouldn't do pink and whites at all. The technician rushed through my fill and the nails were very uneven. I had to ask her to fix a couple, which seemed to irritate her further. I was absolutely not trying to be difficult and asked very politely. I even tipped well, because I felt that I had made a difficult request. Overall, my nails are so-so. Not the worst set I've ever had, but far from the best. Hence the three stars. The woman at the station next to me got dipped nails, and they did look good on her. So, if you wear dipped, I think you'll probably like this place. They had about a ZILLION powder colors to choose from, too. read more

Best salon in pinole/el Sobrante hands down, Really good color selection to, I been going all over salons lookin for a off white color by OPI called funny bunny and the 1st white I picked up was it! I was so excited to try this color also Whiny just busted up my nails I'm so happy with the job she did, she was really nice and listened to whatever I wanted without making me feel uncomfortable, and did not pressure me about extra add ons. the salon was nice and clean and it's pretty inside to. I got full set with gel, medium length French tip. For $40 dollars! I thought that was reasonable, anywhere else woulda have charged a lot more. Unfortunately this place seems to be cheap for a reason. My friend decided to treat herself to some nails since she was in the plaza. She asked for a SHORT french tip and this is what they gave her. You can see the bubbles under the extensions and the lines are THICK and UNEVEN. I am completely in awe they looked at this and let my friend walk out like that. I dont have a photo but the gel is also incredibly uneven and bumpy. We will not be coming back. read more

I came in and the store and the register lady looked at me and my mother up and down, judging us.... We asked for an appointment she said they were occupied, but weren't. She said she would call us half an hour later... We went shopping for two hours around the place and never got a call, we passed by to put our shoppings bags back in our car and they were attending white people and helped them, but not us because we were Latin. This a HONEST review with ZERO fabrication. I got the time to tell you a story, so listen up. First and foremost, the quality of the nail work was SUBPAR. When I glanced down at my nails, I noticed that they were all different lengths and widths. Imagine half a stick of Juicy Fruit Gum next to a piece if Trident Gum....you get the picture? To say I was shook was a bit of an understatement. I asked for adjustments to be made, but the tech/owner assured me that it would be fixed...."don't worry." I don't know about you, but when someone unconfidently says don't worry...I worry. within moments was clear that the technician lacked attention to detail and precision in their work. Furthermore, I discovered that two of my fingers had been CUT during the nail filing process. I mean ate the heck up... Not only was this painful, but it also demonstrated a lack of care and competence on the part of the technician. Like you don't see my finger meat???????? What made matters worse was the constant need to remind the technician to stop. They seemed to be inattentive and unaware of my DISCOMFORT. I had to repeatedly ask them to be more gentle and cautious, which only added to my frustration. It should go without saying that a nail salon should prioritize the comfort and well-being of their clients, but sadly, this was not the case during my visit. Moreover, the salon's atmosphere was far from relaxing -- I'm talking Jerry Springer, Wendy Williams vibes. Throughout the appointment, the technician engaged in nonstop chatter about other customers and their personal lives. This incessant GOSSIPING created a distracting and unprofessional environment. I had hoped to unwind and enjoy a peaceful pampering session, but the constant talking only served to heighten my discomfort and prevent any chance of relaxation. To make matters even worse, there were instances of arguing and tension between the technician (owner), other staff members, and CUSTOMERS (2 during my visit). This back-and-forth only added to the already NEGATIVE ambiance. It was challenging to find a moment of tranquility when the salon's own employees were engaged in disputes and Ego Matches. Overall, my experience at this nail salon was extremely disappointing. The poor nail work, the lack of attention to my comfort, the constant gossiping, and the arguments within the staff made it an unpleasant visit. **** I would not recommend this salon to anyone seeking to keep their fingers, peace, and money. **** If you want to succeed as a service based business, you have to give AT MINIMUM decent service. It is crucial for businesses in the service industry to prioritize their customers' satisfaction, and unfortunately, this salon fell far short of meeting even the most basic standards. Oasis now offers shellac nail manicure service. This manicure service according to the manicurist should last three weeks without a touch up. The Oasis pedicurist performed a thorough pedicure service, since the Far East Asian pedicurists do not perform a medical pedicure like Oasis pedicurist. Far East Asian pedicurists only remove the nail polish, trim/file the toe nails, massage the feet, and re-apply the toe nail polish. So, my feet needed a medical pedicure service after being away for two years! The only complaint I have is Oasis' manicure and pedicure services are expensive, but receiving their service is worth every penny. read more

The salon is clean, they wear masks, they pull out a packaged with clean tools every time. They always have relaxing music, I love the massage chairs! Many time I came in this salon but this time was the worst experience . Came today 5:45pm and asked the receptionist girl may be it's their business. But I'm not happy with it. I asked her at the same time that I want to have nail extensions and pedicure and I asked her if they will do it she said okay. Wait for 15 minutes she said. I waited for more than 15 minutes and one lady did my pedicure was okay not too good and not too bad. Around 6:30 I told her can you put nail polish on so I can go for nail experience and she nodded her head and said no. The receptionist girl said sorry we can't do it because it takes 1 and half out. My question is that why did you say at first "okay" if you didn't wanna do it. She said you can schedule an appointment or you can come tomorrow. I told her that I wanna go somewhere tomorrow that's why I wanted to get it. Why girl, do you think we are free? If you didn't wanna do it why didn't you say at first so I could go somewhere else. So unprofessional. No one has that much time. And they forced my husband to have a pedicure too especially the lady who did my pedicure . Why though? Only care about money ? Not about customers? All I needed was dip powder on top of my natural nails and she couldn't even deliver. Never in my life have I had a nail tech completely drill off every single cuticle. Getting your nails done should not be a painful experience but Oasis is built different. She didn't even drill the rest of my nail to make it look smooth like you're supposed to do so I had nails that looked like bubbles. For some reason she only drilled the part closest to my cuticles and of course drilled all my cuticles, breaking skin. Only positive thing I can say is the lady was nice. But I seriously doubt she is liscensed or went to school because she doesn't know the basic fundamentals. The first and only nail tech that managed to break skin on all ten cuticles. Jeannie did it again! I LOVE my nails & the ladies @Oasis. I went in with an inspiration picture and came out with WAY prettier nails than the pic. I just love their creativity and the way they work with me in making my vision come true. Especially because I'm very indecisive. (Sorry Jeannie lol) They put up with me and I love them for it.
