I'm very picky about the cleanliness of a nail spa. I have visited multiple locations in the Richmond area, and this is by far the best one in Richmond/Pinole area. The staff is kind, the appointments are reliable and consistent, and the inside of the spa is well maintained. I'm very content with the service I receive and my pedicure always comes out great! Best pedicures hands down. I liked the shape and quality of the dip manicures I've received as well. Friendly and qualified staff. Definitely best to make an appointment a week ahead. They accept walk-ins but I often hear them provide windows/eta's about 2-4 hours out if you're lucky to get squeezed in. read more

Have been coming to this nail place for about a year. They are always super busy! So make an appointment when you can. All the ladies and one gentleman are very friendly, very little talking to the patrons, which I am ok with. The prices are a little higher than the San Leandro area that I was used to, but overall great prices for the service and quality. I went there for the first time yesterday for a pedi. Their selection of nail polish colors was very minimal so that was kinda odd. But what bothers me is here I am on day 2 of the pedicure and already the nail polish is coming off! Love this place. A lot of the negative reviews refer to wait time and service. Ladies. If you are walking in to a nail salon and expecting concierge level service with a glass of champagne and a hand massage while you wait, book an overpriced mani pedi at a hotel spa. I judge a salon based on their skill and price and these ladies do a great job for a very reasonable price. I also realize that appointment or not, coming in at 12pm on a Saturday means I will probably have a wait. I expect it, and I don't mind at all because the finished product is always great, and my acrylics don't ever lift or break off like they do with many other salons. These ladies work incredibly hard, and appointments no show a lot so yes they accept walk ins that may interfere with your appointment time. Who cares? Bring a book and chill out. I drive 30 minutes to get my nails done here every 2 weeks- totally worth it!! read more

COVID-19 protocols not observed! I was there on Saturday to get a fill. On my way to the bathroom I passed by the employee kitchen which was small. It was being used by 5 to 6 women preparing their food and no one was wearing a mask! (Women were practically shoulder to shoulder in the small space). Additionally, all the pedicure stations were being used by customers. There was no distancing between the pedicure chairs and there was no plexiglass between each customer. The staff was friendly when I came in, told me to pick a color. I'm really picky about my colors and I like to get simple designs usually on one toe. I've been to this place a few times and I remembered on a previous trip my cuticles were pretty raw after. So when I felt a similar sensation from this recent visit I didn't think much of it. While I was walking around at home I looked down to find that I was bleeding. I tried to contact the manager but my attempts were unsuccessful (this included a facebook page run by a previous employee!?!). This turned out to be a pretty deep cut as I ended up having to stay off my feet for a good part of a day to let it heal and to stop the bleeding. read more

SHORT STORY: WORST MANI EVER!!!! ACRYLIC GUNK ALL OVER, BLEEDING SORES ON 6 FINGERS, SMUDGING POLISH THAT DOESN'T EVEN COVER MY SIDES......my nails are in PAIN. Long Story: I went in to have my acrylics soaked off and then a mani. First problem instead of having those little shell looking bowls which allows you to soak just you nails in acetone and the rest of your hands out, they had a big bowl where I had to submerge my whole hands in pure acetone for 30min. The woman then wiped the acrylic off of my nails but left the gunk all over my hands! She then filed off any remain and in the process grinded her file over my poor sensitive acetone covered cuticles. THEY ARE RAW and I have 6 SORES that BLED! She paints my nails and does a shoddy job. I sittin front of this little fan about 10 min goes by I ask if its dry and I am told it is I go next door for some shopping and two of the nails smudge big time! read more

I came here for an acrylic removal and a regular manicure. I'm now questioning why I returned after a bad experience with my pedicure. *Sigh* Had an appointment at 3:15. Didn't get started until 3:30. When I got seated, oh joy. It was the same lady who did my poor pedicure. The removal of the acrylics was very rushed. She removed them so quickly, they also hurt during the process. I'm quite surprised none of my nails broke in half. She missed many pieces. For the manicure itself, it was rushed as well. The coats are very uneven as you can see some streaks still. Sometimes she would even accidentally touch my nail that isn't dry and she didn't even care to paint over it. It was not until this time when she realized she missed pieces of the acrylic nails, so yes there were leftover pieces still glued on. And of course she did not say anything, but instead paint over it. She paused for a second when she noticed. But she kept on anyways. I'm really unsatisfied. I shouldn't have gone back. read more

I've been here a few times when I can't get an appointment at my regular nail salon because this location is convenient. Besides the convenience, I wouldn't recommend this place. First off, the ladies who work here are straight up rude. Every time I've been here, I get a different lady, and each time I've left unhappy with my manicure. I went to browse around to kill the hour before my appointment, upon my return they walked me back right away. As getting my pedicure she gave me a menu and I asked for a basic pedicure which I guess wasn't very happy about. She did a good job with cutting my big toes to prevent ingrowns but she did NO cuticle work on my toes and it honestly looks like my nails were done at home. On top of all this once she finished my crappy pedicure, she told me to wait in the lobby for the next nail lady because she had an appointment. Excuse me!? I went in here two days ago. I asked if I could have a mani-pedi without an appointment. Receptionist, lady with green dyed hair said they could take me if I'm only getting regular polish, not gel. Kim started me with the manicure. Kim was very nice and did a good job. However, midway thru the manicure, green haired receptionist came to me and told me to come back tomorrow for the pedicure. I said she should have told me in the first place that they can't do both. I wouldn't have started it if I knew that they will not finish with me. I had my gel manicure done by the man with the glasses lol I didn't get his name, but he did a really good and I was attended very quickly with a party of 5 people I came with, he took his time and even filled in a chip in my nail with no extra charge, he was gentle and focused and this is my first mani that I had no gaps on the sides or cuticle area! The "manager" who didn't want to admit that SHE was the owner did my nails while constantly picking up the phone and worried about other customers. The end result was poor... my nails were crooked and lumpy. I told the lady I was not happy with my nails (obviously no vendor wants to hear that) so she immediately got defensive. I asked for my money back but first she said she had to take my nails off, otherwise no money back. I told her to just chop them off and I would go somewhere else to get them fixed. She even got upset that another one of her employees gave me a second opinion, who agreed that my nails were crooked. At the end I got my money back and I asked for the owners phone number and name, which she didn't want to give up. She gave me DANIEL 222-8788. I called the number and she picked up...she said oops, I gave you the wrong number and hung up. I'm not a yelper and just opened this Yelp account because she immediately said that all Yelpers are liars. Mind you, Yelp wasn't even part of the conversation. This lady does not need to be doing nails and I don't think she is even certified to do nails nor knows about CUSTOMER SERVICE 101. DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE! RUDE!
