We've been coming to Oasis for many years. The food is always super yum. Just recently went back for a team dinner and as always, it blew us away. Servers were relaxed, friendly and knew the menu well. For appetizers we got their: 1. Bolani ($10): grilled flatbread stuffed with seasoned potatoes, cilantro & onions with cilantro chutney. 2. I took my husband and invited his family to eat here for Father's Day. I was nervous to bring my father in law and mother in law because they are usually picky with restaurants. We helped them order, and they seemed to really have enjoyed it! We were a party of 15 and the restaurant staff were able to accommodate us in a nice secluded corner of the restaurant. The drinks were amazing as usual, and the food was flavorful. My husband and I shared the Royal platter and a Mediterranean salad. We came here for their Valentine's Day Special and we had a four course meal. We loved the atmosphere of the place the interior felt nice and cozy. There was jazz music playing in the background which gave it a very nice ambiance. Conveniently, where we were sat there was a tv playing the Celtics game. My boyfriend and I were very entertained. The service was great our server gave us recommendations and she was very kind. She told me to try the lamb chops because they were easier to eat and that the portion was better. The communication was definitely there! She was kind enough to take a photo of us (as shown below). My favorite part was the dessert! The baklava and the cake were amazing. We came here for my friends bday dinner 2 weeks ago. We had made reservations so we were seated right away. This restaurant gets pretty crowded on weekends, so definitely make reservations. I don't think we would have been able to eat here if we didn't have reservations. We ordered the pumpkin borani, tour of mediterranean, and the sampler mezze platter. The pumpkin borani here is to die for, omg, the pictures don't do it any justice at all. It was so savory and delicious and everyone loved this dish!!! Every single person that I ate with! I loved it so much I wanted to order an extra portion to go but I figured I can try and make it at home instead. I ordered the kadoo ravioli, it was very tasty and I enjoyed how it wasnt overhwhelmingly creamy. The lamb that I tried was unfortunately over cooked, I would stick to the shrimp or vegetarian dishes here. My friend and I had a lovely 5 hour food and drink adventure at Oasis last night. We called and ahead and had our names put down on their reservation list just in case; 'twas the night of the Christmas parade and tree lighting so downtown was bustling with holiday cheer and parade watchers. We were seated outdoors in the rose garden which offered a lovely view of the entire parade and had heaters to help keep us warm. Our server Nancy was a true gem, she helped us all night long. She was knowledgeable about the menu, offered suggestions and recommendations and was always quick to check on us/return. We always felt taken care of. Oasis offers a daily (7 days a week) happy hour from 2-5 pm which includes some of their appetizers and cocktails at reduced prices. We took full advantage of this opportunity to try many food and drink selections. The appetizers we tried (some from happy hour and some on regular menu) were the marinated olives with feta, Pumpkin Borani, Beef Cigar Rolls and Lamb Lollipops. The olives and feta were marinated well and had a nice flavor, they were a perfect simple snack to go along with our beverages. The Pumpkin Borani was the first thing I saw on the menu and was hands down my favorite item of the night. The seasoned and well cooked dish was covered in a garlic tzatziki sauce that added the perfect flavor pairings for a light but tasty appetizer. The beef cigars were good, they were basically ground beef egg rolls with the same garlic tzatziki sauce as the borani. The lamb lollipops were extremely tasty and cooked medium well as requested. Warm bread and butter were also provided; I must say that eating the pumpkin borani and lamb with the bread was heavenly - highly recommended. For entrees we shared the Rack of Lamb and the Kadoo Raviolis. The Rack of Lamb was a little more on the medium/medium rare end but still tasty. It was actually almost exactly the same as the lamb lollipop appetizer but just double the number of pieces and it came with mashed potatoes. Fortunately, we really loved the lamb appetizer so we were absolutely fine with more of the same. If however, you are looking for variety do not order both the lamb app and entree. The Kadoo Ravioli was very good, it was not overly creamy and I LOVED the sliced almonds on top of the dish. I do wish the raviolis had more butternut squash though, they seemed a little deflated/lacking substance. For desserts, we chose the dessert sampler so that we could try numerous items. The sampler came with Oasis Paradise which was a subtle custard/pudding with mango and strawberries. This was easily my favorite as it was light, tasty and not overly fruity. The baklava was in a roll form and was good. The lava cake was also good, satisfied the need for chocolate cake and ice cream, the caramel emotion was ok - the server that delivered it referred to it as a tiramisu of sorts but neither my friend nor I could really put our finger on what this was. It was a cake with layers of chocolate and something else, this dessert was ok, it was the only one we didn't finish. Drinks - the best drink I had all night (which I ordered twice) was the Lychees and Roses. Two flavors I love combined into one lovely drink that was full of taste and not too sweet. The lychee garnish also made me quite happy. We also had the house vodka martini which was well made, the espresso martini which had a very nice strong coffee flavor and certainly kept my friend up all night (did it's job!), a couple of different Prosecco drinks from the happy hour including the infusion (champagne topped with fresh strawberries and mint) and another simple Prosecco drink with lava and gin in it. We also tried the pineapple mule which was a lovely twist on a normal Moscow mule but again not overly sweet which was perfect, and finally a pear martini that was also not overly sweet but had flavors reminiscent of a goddess elixir, subtle but beautifully satisfying. Overall, between the food, service and pricing, we will 100% be back. We had a fabulous experience and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. I'm looking forward to returning to try the kabobs and curries which look quite tasty! read more

We came to Oasis on Monday night for Valentine's Day. We love Greek food so we were looking forward to it. We split the Mediterranean salad with chicken added onto it. I liked the flavor of the chicken a lot, went well with the salad. I ordered a salmon with asparagus & veggies, and my wife ordered the shrimp kabobs with rice I believe. Both were good meals. First time at this restaurant. Not much into Mediterranean food. I thought curry and lamb. Which gags me. Had to go their for work. Which I wasn't looking forward into my dinner and evening. I thought afterward. I could head over to Safeway for chips and a sandwich. Well, that didn't happen. Because the food was delicious. We had really nice appetizers. One was a Greece looking taco. On my second visit there was a bug flying around our table. No one came to help until I panicked about it getting on me and had to get up and get someone. And then while i was talking to the woman in the front for help and i was flustered and shaking bc im scared of bugs a man came and essentially told me that i was being disrespectful. The woman still moved us bc she told me she understood how i felt bc shes scared to. So honestly shes the only reason why its a 2 and not a 1. If she sees this thank you for making me feel supported when it felt like the whole place was against me. Ive never been to a restaurant where a bug was attacking me and never got blamed for my reaction. Maybe keep your place bug free and this wont happen. read more

I thought the service & ambiance were great but when it came to the food it fell flat. We started with the hummus platter which was good. I liked trying the assortment of hummus Oasis had to offer. For the main course I ordered the Shrimp Kebobs. These fell short. The shrimp seasoning was good but the veggies were so finely sliced and very few were actually on the stick. I chose the garlic potatoes for my side and these lacked in flavor. If I didn't have a starter or dessert I would have left hungry after eating this course. For dessert we had the Lava Love Cake. It had a nice texture and was well prepared but the chocolate wasn't sweet enough for my taste. I was in the area and heard great things about this restaurant. I tried the Lemon Caesar Salmon Salad and it was absolutely delicious. Some place's salmon is too fishy but this was not. It was seasoned perfectly and tasted great! I got the dressing on the side which I always do. I do not like the salad drenched in dressing. I enjoy my salad crunchy. The homemade croutons were so yummy! It was a perfect touch. I tried the Lamb Lollipops for an appetizer and not disappointed at all. I did splurge at the end and had a few sweet treats which were very smooth. If you're looking for something light go with the pudding paradise and if you REALLY have a sweet tooth go with the Toffee Nut Cake ! The Toffee Nut Cake is ridiculously sweet but complimented by the vanilla ice cream. I think if I got that again I'd get two scoops of the vanilla ice cream given the fact the cake was so sweet. I've had Oasis on my bookmarks for a long time and we finally got to try their happy hour. One - very appreciative of them continuing to HH deals through this pandemic. Two - they're doing a great job with social distancing the tables etc (granted we did go around 3 or 4pm on a Tuesday - not crowded at all). We tried the lamb lollipops and the mini gyros - both were cooked to perfection. The mule drink was nice and stiff . Great deals on beers and drinks as well. *I did take off a star due to the service - there was only 1 table besides us and the server didn't check on us - once to take the order, second to bring the bill. I've visited this restaurant twice and would encourage folks to try it for the food and ambiance, but not necessarily for the service. We were celebrating a friend's birthday and happy with the food we ordered. We shared pumpkin borani (our favorite), eggplant flatbread and royal platter. It was tasty and we enjoyed the flavors, but I would say it's higher on the pricey side In terms of service, it may just be the server that we received, but service was very slow. They were not aware they were assigned to serve us initially, which we were understanding of. However, we very much noticed later on waiting long periods of time to order food or get checked on - especially when we were able to see our server staying at one specific table and conversing for a long bit while we were trying to get their attention. This went on for the entirety of our visit here. Overall, I would probably not visit again. Although the food was good, the service really just took a toll on the experience (hence the 3 stars).
