I come here often and have never had a problem with the staff before. I ordered bubble tea through UberEats and when I received the drinks two of my drinks tasted watered down (no flavor and the other one didn't taste like strawberry crunch). At this point I had my husband go to the store and request for new drinks to be made. I don't appreciate the rudeness and bad customer service they provided to my family. My husband drove there with our son and this is the "customer service" they're showing. I would give them NO STARS if I could. My husband spoke to three employees that were working at 11pm on Saturday, October 14th and politely asked if new drinks could be made because they were watered down and had no flavor. One of cashiers grabbed a new straw and tasted the strawberry crunch drink and said "taste like strawberry to me" and then threw away both of the drinks. Then another employee who is a female and Indian said "we can't give you a refund or give you new drinks". She also said "we don't appreciate the attitude" and then walks away from my husband. Mind you the music they play in there is always loud and on full blast - my husband was making sure they could hear him through all of the noise. My husband said "if that's the case then why did you guys throw away my drinks?" One of the managers came back from his break and one of the employees who were helping me went and told him that my husband was being rude and giving them an attitude. In the midst of all of this the manager spoke to my husband and explained the situation to him and he said "sorry for the inconvenience and of course we can make you new drinks". None of the employees who were being rude apologized to my husband. When one of the drinks was done being made, my son went to go and grab it and the cashier rudely said to my son that the drink wasn't his - then someone had to correct him and tell him it was. Overall this situation could've been dealt with more professionally, I'm not coming here again if this is the service they're going to be providing. There's no need to throw an attitude - bad day or not. They should listen fully to what's being said before deciding to be rude. The staff is sweet and helpful, the menu is huge but well laid out. Tons of seating, open late. Dessert options AND food. Will have to try some of the food! My melon milk slush was exactly what I wanted. Tastes like those melon ice pops I remember eating as a kid in slush form! Even melted I still enjoyed it. Companion's chocolate bubble tea was made milky with non-dairy powder, which is nice for the lactose intolerant (but not vegan). Also split a waffle, which came with blueberries and had the ice cream on the side. That took some time to finish, but it was worth waiting for. I'll come back! read more

I could live without the drinks, just because I've had better. It's a bit difficult to give this place an unbiased rating because it's so nostalgic of high school memories and visits accumulated over the years, there's some deep sentimental value here. It'll always be the spot to hang out with friends and play with the graffitied Jenga sets they should really replace hahaha. Oh yes, this is still a review.. (I'm reminiscing). I have two kids, who are no stranger to bubble teas. So when we recently visited Seattle, we made sure to check out some bubble tea shops. While in the International District, we looked up what was nearby, and made a visit to Oasis Tea Zone. This bubble tea place is different to ones that we have been to before, in that it has a pretty big menu. Normally we get a list of flavors to choose from, and that's it - but this has hot and cold bubble tea, "bubbles" (tapioca pearls) in both large and mini, jelly bits, and "snow" (slush). Not only is the menu selection pretty big, but there were flavors on there that I had not seen before at other (small) places, like lavender and sesame (think red bean cakes). I couldn't resist the lavender tea, and I chose small bubbles, which I highly recommend over the regular bubbles. My daughter got a mango tea with mango jelly pieces, which was also delicious. The service was good, despite quite a crowd, and we enjoyed our teas while seated at the front of the cafe. There are plenty of seats to accommodate quite the crowd that they seem to get. I've never been to a boba establishment in Washington that treats people with such a lack of human dignity. One of the staff, Brian, rudely yelled at a patron to leave the store in front of everyone. A few costumers and myself watched the whole scene unfold, and feel that Brian's harsh reaction and anger towards the patron was completely uncalled for. No human being should be treated how this patron was, and for that reason I'll never support this boba establishment again. I'm writing this review because there are a number of boba establishments in the area with much better drinks and service. There are quite a few bubble tea/boba/smoothie businesses in the area, but my coworkers and I frequent this location because it's the closest to walk to from work. Don't ever try and reach this business by phone because even when it's slow and there are more than three workers on site nobody will answer the phone. Sometimes (depending on who is working and making the smoothie) they taste better than other days. She asked my friend if this was alright (so she could get out of having to make another one I'm guessing) and obviously my friend who doesn't care for passion fruit has to respond, "no, I'm sorry but I ordered mango and I don't like passion fruit." Oasis is a cool place to hang out! I was shocked by how big the place is for a boba shop. Having been to many boba shops (counting +100 ), Oasis is probably the most spacious boba shop I have ever seen to date. I was hanging out in Chinatown area and this place popped up. I did try Seattle Best Tea little bit down the street which I thought was mediocre. Service here was subpar but quick. I placed an order of my usual at any boba shop, milk green tea with boba. Drink was mediocre, boba was bad. Bad but slightly better than the one from Seattle Best Tea. Overall, the only impression I have of this place is its space. Pre-COVID, Oasis was the spot for late night boba, food, and hangouts. They have a large selection of drinks and some pretty bomb popcorn chicken. The establishment deserves a 5 star for itself. However, some Oasis staff look like they absolutely hate or love their jobs. Went in on 12/3 around 8:30pm. A group of teenagers ordered drinks and one happened to spill a milk tea all over the floor. No big deal, it happens! The group kindly asks for a towel or mop so they can clean up their mess, and the worker behind the counter goes, "look, your group is going to have to wait. I got a lot of sh*t to do". What a bummer. This was my favorite boba spot for years and I would tell that to everyone. Went there today and got my regular Avocado smoothie. The drink itself was overpriced. Don't remember it being so steep, fine whatever. I don't mind supporting a business I promote so much. I was the only customer in the store waiting on an order at the time. I glanced over and saw the employee literally sniffing inside the blender while my smoothie was being made.. and it left her with a disgusted and confused look on her face. I really have loved this place since I started visiting in 2019, the staff is always very welcoming and nice and the ambience is just perfect for groups of friends to hang out in. My favorite drink to buy is usually a thai tea with tapioca, I would definitely recommend this place to people who want to try boba with friends. Let me get straight to it: the bubble tea here is fine. "Fine" as in not great, but not bad either. It's mostly powder-based, so you get what you'd expect to get. I normally get a plain black milk tea with boba. If I'm in the mood for something sweeter, I might get thai iced tea or taro, or maybe something fruity and not milk-based. Sometimes the boba is great and really fresh! Other times -- probably on their less busy times -- the boba is chewy and tastes like it has been sitting for a while. I've been coming here on and off for years (this used to be THEEEE place to hang out when I was in high school). The staff is and always has been friendly, and they are good about handling orders when the line gets long... and sometimes, the line gets REALLY long! The best things about this location are that they're open late, they have a large variety of food and drink choices, and their renovations allow for more people to hang out during the late-night hours. MY ONE FEELING ABOUT THIS PLACE: CONFLICTED! Why am I conflicted about Oasis? Many reasons! First, I find myself coming here again and again because it's open until 2am! I'm a big fan of the mango snow and the passion fruit mango and mixing the two from time to time. Another of my favorites is the STRAWBERRY AND MANGO SNOW. MMMMM~!!! (+1 for Oasis) By contrast, after going to other boba places outside the Seattle area, I realized Oasis does not have THAT many flavors. For example, Tapioca Express in Redmond and Edmonds have more exotic flavors, like smoky oolong or okinawan (whatever that is) or blueberry. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but they use powder instead of real tea. -1 for Oasis. An extra bonus, though, with their punch card system is that it's double punch day on Mondays. I went there last night, a Monday, and didn't realize it until the girl at the front gave me two punches for my royal milk tea drink (thought she just liked me, but I guess that wasn't the reason). +1 for Oasis. A boba tea joint with arcade games, jenga, and some sick beats playing?!?! I can't even fathom how cool this spot was. My friends from Seattle took me here while I was visiting for New Years. I ordered the milk tea with taro pudding based on a friend's recommendation. I love love love the taro pudding, it was my first time trying it. I just wish the milk tea was up to par with the taro pudding. Seriously, it seems like they poured 2 cups of sugar into my milk tea, all I could taste was the sugar!!!!! I picked this place to get boba milk tea because of Google reviews. It was a disappointment when I had my mini boba drink. The boba is so freakin hard!! It was so bad that I had to spit it all out. I told the staff that it was super hard, and he told me the boba was old and out of regular boba and asked if I would like something else. (So I told him I'll get grass jelly. He didn't make me a new drink, instead, he tried to scoop out some mini boba and add grass jelly. (Which I don't mind, but can you do a better job of scooping out all the nasty hard mini boba?) I've been wanting to try Oasis for quite some time now, and I realized that there was one right next to King Street station, so I went for it! This location, I've noticed, gets pretty busy. I've tried to go a couple times but the line has been too long and I didn't wanna jeopardize getting to my train on time. Today, there was only about three people in line ahead of me. I went ahead and ordered something pretty safe - a Thai slush with tapioca. The girl that rang me up wasn't very cordial, but she wasn't rude either. The girl that was making drinks irked the shit out of me. First off, she spent about three minutes just talking to a coworker when she had drinks to make. She let mine sit there for like two minutes or so, then finally went and got it. She sealed the cup, and then set it down. Not on the counter so I could grab it, but BEHIND the counter - then she went and made another drink. Like... If my drink is ready, and you see me waiting, can you just pass it off? I was pretty satisfied with my drink! I wish that the black tea flavor was a little bit stronger, but it was still pretty good. Next time I think I'll ask for less tapioca because they loaaaddd it. That plus how much tea you actually get made it so I was actually pretty full... Like I feel like I went out and got a meal instead of a drink lol. You know this place is the spot when it's 11:00pm on a Wednesday and the place is packed. One of my favorite things about this place is they provide alternative milk options and the creek in the Thai Tea is dairy free. The variety of bubble tea flavors is awesome. Oasis does have food options like sweet potatoes fries and popcorn chicken. The music is always upbeat and they have a variety of board games to chill and hang out with a group of friends. Oasis Tea Zone is one of the big three bubble tea spots (Ambrosia and Gossip are the other two) in the International District. I visited this spot many years ago, but did not make a second visit until I returned during this year's Dragon Fest. I wrote off this place as second rate compared with Gossip, but my thoughts on Oasis have changed for the better when I stopped in recently. I like the decor which is dark and lounge like. It seems improved immensely from when I was here the first time. The seating by the front windows is great. I can see myself lounging here for a bit. There is even a parklet in front of the store if you want to sit outdoors. In addition to the usual selection of bubble/milk tea drinks, there is also a menu of snack food offerings here. Though with the numerous restaurants in the area, I would order food as an in-between meal only. Oasis was one of the participating businesses for the $2 Dragon Fest food walk. Since it was hot, I ordered their green tea milk tea. They also were offering Thai tea ice cream from Full Tilt on special so I decided to try that out as well. The milk tea served as a nice thirst quencher and remedy to the heat. It had green tea flavor, though I wasn't so sure based on the color of the drink. The Thai tea ice cream from Full Tilt was an unexpected surprise. It is so smooth and creamy. And it came with a couple of Nutella wontons on top. I have had savory fried wontons before, but never thought of them in the sweet kind of way until the ones I tried here. I will now! However, i tried the matcha still really sweet so it left me with a bit of a stomach ache. (The tapioca pearls are perfectly done though!) I'd give the drinks a 3, but the food + space a 5. I have come here multiple times when I was a student in Seattle either for fun or for a group event. This place is pretty big with a lot of seating, games (board games, arcade games, card games), and has a variety of drinks for their customers. One thing I like about this place compared to other bubble tea places is that they accept credit cards and they do not have the "$10 for credit card". The service here is okay, but it does get messy in this place. The floors are sticky in some parts along with the tables and some of the tables are a little bit off balance. I ordered the mango icy and it came to me sticky which I did not expect and total let down since I came here so often during my college years. This was our first time at the ID oasis. Usually we haunt the oasis in the u district so this one is farther away. The nice thing is this place is open until 2 am most days, honestly what a life saver. After a long day of walking around downtown we needed boba. Be careful the light rail stops so shut down at night so we took a lyft back home. The boba is softer here compared to the one in the u district for some reason. We got a cookie snow, a passion fruit slush, and a lemon slush all were pretty great and like our usual oasis. Also they have more snacks than our locations! While the adults socialized and did adult-like things, my cousins and I would wander around Chinatown. Don't worry, it was much safer back then. Nowadays, I definitely wouldn't recommend roaming around Chinatown by yourself at night. As kids, our go to places would be Oasis and Uwajimaya. To this day, I still enjoy a good bubble tea from time to time. Oasis has always been a fan favorite of mine. This location particularity brings back found memories. They have made several improvements and expansions over time. Not only does Oasis have a wide array of flavors and varieties of beverages, they also have SNACKS. Yes, I'm taking late night munchies, perfect if you're drunk or just feeling some popcorn chicken and sweet potato fries. The environment is young, hip and now includes arcade games for hours of entertainment. If you're looking for a quiet place to get some work done, do not visit here in the later hours of the night. It can get very noisy and like I said, its where the young kids come out to play.
