My massage experience was disappointing for me and I don't plan on going back, here's why... but before I write the reasons why, I wanted to say that I am writing this to make sure that the spa reads this and takes away some tips for their spa to improve. 1. The therapist used a thai walking technique on my feet which was good but she started to walk towards my hamstrings and also walked on my bones for a about 2-3 mins and she couldn't feel me jumping with slight pain so I had to ask her to give me less pressure. 2. She used very sharp elbows on my rhomboids, rib cage and upper traps which is strange because I did not need attention there. It felt so painful! I had to ask again for less pressure. Her elbows felt like dull knives. Then I asked her to work on my neck instead. 3. I felt like she was very tired and wanted to rush through the massage. 4. I did enjoy the stretching and twisting movements she was doing but I won't be returning. It was not worth my time and money. Tips: What I think should happen is that the ladies there should learn to feel into their clients more and practice on friends that will give them constructive criticism. read more

I was in desperate need of a massage due to the stress at work and trying to start exercising again. My back was so tight, plus I started to have muscle spasms. I made my appointment with Sophia (shop owner) on the phone. I am 6' feet and 251llbs, little tiny Sophia knowledge and experience made all my pain and stress go away. Absolutely wonderful massage session. I went here with a friend and we both did the 90 minute deep tissue time massage I had my therapist was named Ness and his was May. We both had a consensus that the massage was excellent, especially the walking part. For myself, Nes spent alot of time for my upper back/shoulder pain that I think I got from lifting too much heavy luggage one handed. She identified the knot and alleviated it. I booked a 60 min because Ej wasn't sure how good they would be but mid way through I was requesting to extend it. It was so good that I didn't want it to end. They even gave me slip on slipper/bags to put over my sandals, as well as some sanitizer. And their floor was so clean, I almost slipped! (Or is it because of the slipper bag? Lol). Anyway, I called to make an appointment for a Sunday afternoon. They gave me a fill-in sheet about the areas I wanted to focus more/less on for the masseuse. I went in today with major back pain & tightness. I could barely sit or stand. I shared my problem areas and had a 90 minute thai deep tissue massage. It was AMAZING. First of all, I felt totally safe. I was sanitized upon arrival and given bootie covers for my shoes. Everything looked super clean and hygienic. Made an appointment for a prenatal massage and was really excited because a lot of places that I called weren't open or was fully booked. Oasis Thai Spa got me in the next day. Before entering, they made me sanitize my hands and checked my temperature. Then I filled out some forms regarding COVID and areas on my body that I wanted to be focused on/avoid. I was then taken to the back where there were tents set up which was not bad at all. Lots of privacy and fans in each room. My overall massage was mediocre. I've had much better prenatal massages, but it wasn't really the worst. My masseuse was a Sophia. There were a few moments where I felt like she either was on her phone or she dozed off. I feel this way because she would massage me with both hands then suddenly it's just one hand. She would very slowly massage me and then stop. This was repetitive. For the price paid, I believe I would've gotten a better prenatal massage. read more

Told her 90min n she said she actually charged me for 60min. Told her ok, will pay after I am done n all is gd. Changed and she started on my massage. 10 minutes in, she said, "yr masseuse is here!" I was like huh??? N she said we will only start yr massage at 1115? So apparently, d masseuse for me was late? One thing to note, which d lady admitted on her own was d walls r extremely thin! You can hear everything happening next door which happens to be a salon with ladies talking non-stop! Music in d room comes and goes trying v hard to mask d noise unsuccessfully. Then comes d massage. Ok in general, but one thing which I do NOT like is when d masseuse was massaging my back, she actually sat on me while she was massaging me. That was weird n very uncomfortable for me! When the massage was over, came d payment. D previous lady obviously didn't communicate with her about d balance she needed to charge me so there was this back n forth on how much to charge. N then my masseuse actually asked me how much do I want to give for her tips?!? That was so awkward! Bottom line : I will not do this again. read more
