Ask for Andy! He's world class. I had a 90 minute massage yesterday and today I feel transformed. My body feels so relaxed, my tension and aches are gone, I feel more emotionally centered, and somehow even my appetite has stabilized. Normally I forget to drink water and I either don't eat or I over eat, but after the massage I felt very very present in my skin. Drinking water came naturally, eating healthy came naturally, and I feel grounded. It's astonishing that a single massage can do that. Some massage therapists are just "going through the motions", but Andy was 100% present and focused. He had excellent instincts and a huge variety of "moves" in his arsenal. He asked for feedback regularly throughout the massage, and most important, he made me feel very very safe. Thai massage can be intense and you really have to trust that the massage therapist won't hurt you with some of the more moves. He knew how to stretch or press right to the edge of what felt refreshing, and he never lost focus. I feel very very lucky to have found him. On top of that, the receptionist was kind, helpful, and very considerate in finding out exactly what I needed before I scheduled the massage. All in all, a wonderful experience. Again I was totally satisfied with my spa experience. I want to give Sherry and Kora 6 stars but Yelp has a 5 star limit. This was my second visit to Oasis Thai Spa. This time I tried a 4 hand massage for 90 minutes. I felt like I was in heaven. The massage was so wonderful that I dozed off. She gave me an awesome 90-minute massage, where now I know exactly where to go to get an awesome massage that will assist me with my cervical spine issues. I had a major cervical spine injury in 2015, spent 2 1/2 years going through Kaiser's physical therapy program, just to get my life back on track, by strengthening my shoulder muscles and allowing time for my cervical spine bone structure to repair itself. Now more than ever I needed an awesome Thai massage therapist to reduce the shoulder muscle tightness in my shoulders, and that's where Sofia made my day. I found Oasis almost by accident. I ate at a restaurant that shares a parking lot with Oasis Spa and noticed it and decided to check it out. I have been getting massages at Oasis about every other month( I would go more often if I could) and have been fortunate to book with Vicky each time. At age 66 I still run 30-40 miles a week. As have aged I have developed some osteo arthritis in my knees and I also have some aches and soreness from running and from doing exercises given to me by my physical therapist. Over the years I have benefitted from getting massages regularly. Vicky is well trained in all message techniques but I usually opt for Thai Massage since it involves stretching the muscles. I have found this to be very helpful at minimizing any aches or soreness I am dealing with. Vicky is strong when called for and gentle when that is called for. She is attentive, thorough and she is able to feel where my muscles are tight and my joints are sore and tailors my massage to my needs. I highly recommend Vicky and if she is available you would do well to schedule your message with her. You will be happy you did Oasis itself is very clean and quiet. Everyone on staff is friendly and helpful. For the message therapy you receive the prices are reasonable. I have been to other places that cost less but those places do not offer the quality of massage that you get at Oasis. This place is a real gem read more
