Overall great vegan food. Bowls and burritos are quite filling. Love the options. Juices are smoothies also delicious. Knew the previous family who owned it. Not sure how it's going under new ownership. Two downsides-- 1. Hard to make phone orders, if I get connected it's like the phone is in the kitchen and there's a blender right behind the person taking phone orders. 2. Kids bean and cheese burrito is made with jack cheese (vegan), it's too spicy for me let alone for a child; should be changed to mozzarella or cheddar (I've made this suggestion to them, not sure if they'll seriously consider it). read more

Went here today with my friends, and I will say that everything was just so good! My friends and I had 2 vegan burgers one contained the veggie patty and one with tofu and the other that was with us had a vegetarian salad. Also including with sweet potato fries Mine with the veggie patty tasted so good with that aioli sauce and every vegetable in it and my friend with the tofu burger absolutely enjoyed his being messy a bit and say that it is tasty and delicious since this was his first time to come along with us to eat with at this place. The sweet potato fries were absolutely delicious and that sauce that comes with it tasted more refreshing than anything else. And at the end for dessert, we had a vegan mint chocolate chip which was completely bombed! Although we thought at first it was going to be green for texturing of the ice cream, it had that mint flavor in there lol! So happy to have a better food option close to work! Here's my review: I ordered the bowl + carnitas + roasted veggies + red pepper sauce & had the basil corn side with a hibiscus tea. The bowl was great - but the carnitas, meh, not so great. To be honest, it was my first time trying any type of vegan meat. The carnitas were really DRY & shriveled with hardly any taste to them. If I had to describe it again - they look & taste like burnt French fries. The rest of the bowl was delicious and very simple! Oh, and the red pepper sauce - A+ especially if you love spicy! It is very spicy! The hibiscus tea they sweeten - so no "unsweetened" option however still tasty and very refreshing! I'll definitely be back to try more menu options! I go out of my way to stop here! It's so good. I don't know what they do to make their carnitas seitan but I wish I could make it at home because this place is a drive for me. All the flavors combine in the carnitas vegan burrito so well. I keep wanting to try their other options but I like that one so much, that I always just get the same. If you show your student ID, you can enjoy 10% off your order. They also offer special deals on Tuesday's. If you're really hungry, get the carnitas burrito. If you're starving, get the combo. The carnitas is my favorite protein. They even sell it for $9.99/lb since they make it themselves. When you order a side don't expect a lot. You must try the Guatemalan coffee, carnitas tacos, plantains and vegan sauce, pupusas, and corn dog with turmeric aioli. I also like the green tea and superfood green smoothie. There's outdoor and indoor seating. Each order takes up to 10-20 minutes depending on how busy they are. It's pricey, but all healthful foods nowadays are expensive. I've been going here for a while now. They used to have a club sandwich that was delicious but that was discontinued. Since then I've been trying various items. The Steak Burger is really good however I feel like the bun to ingredients ratio is off. There's a lot of bread but overall it's a great burger. The Steak Burrito is delicious. It's huge and will definitely fill you up. The vegan spinach and cheese pupusas were my least favorite. It's incredibly cheesy. I'm not the biggest fan of the vegan cheese favor but if you're into that then this would be good for you. Godsend, I've had to stop eating dairy, wheat, soy and other things due to nursing and my baby having bad eczema flare ups, I have a major sweet tooth and it's been hard finding vegan/gluten free desserts. It's a walk up and you order kind of place. They have a large lot with plenty of parking. Oasis is attached to a market natural food which has vegan, vegetarian food and have bulk bins not just food but shampoos, oils for different ethnicities too. In the market There's a small eating area for oasis in there for people that want to dine in.The staff is nice. The service is slow tho. The restrooms are clean the only thing is you have to ask the cashier for the key not that it will be given to you from the cashier you would have to wait for someone to hand you the key they weren't in a hurry by no means there should be a different setup that. On Fridays there's a woman who sells honey that are from rescued bees up front. Oasis is one of my favorite spots so far. The first time I ate here I didn't know what to expect. I ordered the tacos (main dish) for $9.00. Then you have a choice of a protein, veggie and sauce. I choose Carnitas, garlic herb mushrooms and avocado ginger I also added coconut bacon for a little crunch to my tacos. The carnitas had a little crush to them also and everything was seasoned beautifully and tasted great. The second time: I asked for a sample of jackfruit it was a little sweet but not too sweet it was tender and shredded up. I can't wait to go there again, there's plenty of things I would like to try on there menu. I ordered a combo for 14.50 I choose a bowl, oasis patty, garlic herb mushrooms and red pepper sauce, with a ginger lemon sprit one of the drinks that you can choose from that comes with a combo, it wasn't to tart or bitter tasting, The oasis patty had a little crunch same with the sweet fried plantains (served hot) the plantains were a little greasy for me and for being fried I thought it would be more crispy still tasty though serviced with a delicious vegan cream. A delicious hot sauce (spicy) they make I asked for two cause there small containers and they only fill it half way up to the rim. What's a little annoying is that they just give you a fork and a few napkins so if you don't say something at the time they bring your food to you what you need or more of something, you have to ring a bell, so you try to make do. Everything was deliciousness But.. there's times the food is seasoned extremely well and other times not. the same goes for the temperature of the food. If you're a nursing mother the only place to nurse is in the bathroom they do have a changing area tho, for the disabled or in wheelchairs the aisles are wide to maneuver. With what I ordered and my s/o ordered it came out to about $45. What made it a little pricy was the Berry Mango Smoothies (which were delicious) that are $6.50 each + a Ginger Lemon Spritz for $3. It was my first time coming to Oasis Veneration café. I was visiting the area and this was a pleasant find. I got the omelette, sope and wedges. Everything tasted great and it was one of the first times I didn't have to add salt and pepper to my breakfast food at a restaurant. They are very generous with their sauce too, which was tasty. Despite the employees being short staffed they were all upbeat and doing their best to maintain a quality level of customer service. There's not a lot of seating outside as this spot seems to be more of a to-go cafe, nonetheless we were able to grab a seat and enjoy eating outside. This review is for the custom build-your-own-salad. I picked the jackfruit as the protein, red pepper and vegan cream sauce combo, herb-roasted veggies/corn, and hot sauce. The portions are HUGE, shareable between two people or leftovers for later. Everything was fresh, delicious and nutrient-dense. There was self-serve free cucumber water. The inside seating area is located in the market, and was super clean. Can accommodate several small groups. The order area is an outside walk-up window, which is exactly what I've been looking for (easier to bring dog to places). There is a small outside seating area with 3 tables. There is a juice bar and dessert options on the menu. Tamales, as well! Another neat perk is that you can knock out your grocery list in this health food market. Service was fast. Yummy vegan food. Got the carnitas burrito with garlic mushrooms and vegan cream. Very flavorful--even the non-vegan agreed it was good. Left satisfied and not feeling guilty. The carnitas is actually seitan and they should just call it that; it doesn't taste or overly resemble carnitas. The flavor of the other ingredients overpowered it anyways. The garlic mushroom was really good. Price for a burrito is like 10 bucks, which is good considering the size. I'd skip on the potato wedges. They're well spiced and flavorful, but the portion for that is a bit small for the price. Located 20 min for UCR. Will be on the left side of the street attached to a vegan grocery market, which has amazing variety and good prices for produce. read more

Besides the fact that my bill somehow came out to be $66 for two adult combo meals and three kids meals (no drinks), the service was very slow. Took 20 minutes for my wife and kids' food to come out. The server said, "And I'll bring your food right out next." After another 10 mins (30 mins total), I finally went up to the front window and asked (because they had forgotten our drinks as well). She brought it out, but again had forgotten the side. I'm giving them two stars because the food was pretty good. Update: Management reached out to me today. My favorite is the vegan carnitas: fried gluten, 2 tortillas, chopped fresh tomato, cilantro, onion, and tomato salsa. The chik nuggets, tamale, taquitos, and fruit smoothies are amazing too! OMG! I just had the best dinner from this wonderful place! First time my daughter and I went there. I had the vegan carnitas taco and a cheese/spinach pupusa. The vegan carnitas taco was filled with lots of vegan carnitas and fresh pico de gallo and shredded lettuce. It was so big and filling! This was my first time eating vegan carnitas and I loved it! The pupusa was as great as any I have had! My daughter got the jack fruit taquitos and she thought they were yummy! If I lived near Oasis, I would be there several times per week. They are affordable, the food is fresh and delicious, and the service is wonderful. It is a casual experience. One will order from a window and find a seat outdoors or inside. The indoor seating is located inside a grocery store. I chose the vegan rolled tacos and my husband had the "steak" burrito. The portions were generous and very flavorful. Try the Love Water. This is a container of water they place on the counter with various types of fruits and vegetables in it. It colors the water and makes it very flavorful. Of note is that they do cater, something I will remember when my vegan daughter gets married.
