    8. Breakfast Burrito - Bacon
    Nella B.

I finally stopped by for breakfast this morning, I work nearby and drive past this place almost every day. Location - plenty of parking, easy to spot off Sampson Ambiance - clean, quiet, employees were friendly Service - not too bad, i was in and out under 10 mins. definitely will call in my order next time. Food - ordered a bacon breakfast burrito and an avocado burrito. They were about 6 inches, but the flavor was good! The eggs were nice and fluffy, bacon could have been cooked a little longer - but everyone prefers their bacon differently. I'd come back.

Small deli we were excited to try out because it is close to home. It was a little warm inside, but it had a cool classic little deli feel to it. The service was great and attentive. We had our two babies with us so it took us some time to order and the employee was super patient with us. We got the western burrito with avocado added and a sausage egg and cheese English muffin sandwich. The sandwich was perfect with melty cheese and crunch on the muffin. The burrito tasted great and the egg was nice and soft, but the bacon didn't have any crunch to it and the potatoes seemed a little underdone. That being said it all tasted great and the price was a deal. We will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu!

Tiny avocado breakfast burrito. Very bland.

I ordered an avocado breakfast burrito with added bacon on Grub Hub. It seemed like it took a long time for it to be made. The Grub Hub driver dropped off my burrito and I realized it was cold. It was not warm at all. I put it in the microwave and opened it to discover it was small. My hand is actually bigger than the burrito. I took a bite and it was tasteless and bland. I added salsa...still bland. Salt and pepper...still bland. I got some hot sauce...now it tasted like hot sauce with no other flavor. I will never order a breakfast burrito from this place again. I ordered a salad for lunch and will update once I eat that. Meh.

The 50. Western Burrito -- so very delicious and probably the most well priced breakfast burrito I've ever purchased

(Visited 12/15/22) Me and a couple of chums were taking the 91 freeway from Torrance to Big Bear for the weekend to go winter camping for the first time. We were looking to fuel up with a tasty breakfast before we endured a weekend of sub 30° activities and we got hungry passing through Corona. We looked up "food" on Apple Maps as one does and Granite Place Cafe shows up with rave reviews and breakfast burritos. Perfect. We drive up and are surprised to see this odd little corner store built into the same warehouse as like 2 or 3 car mechanics, but that wasn't gonna stop us from getting a taste of those burritos. We walked in and met Chris, a super inviting breath of fresh air standing behind the register. We exchange hellos and order our food (Western Burritos all around) before taking our seat. We start chatting with Chris and before we know it we're exchanging campsites, views, and stories about our times in the wilderness. He's excited to hear what we're attempting and he hooks us up with some great instant spicy ramen that kept us nice and toasty in the snow. By this time our burritos are ready--and they are excellent. Perfect ratio of all ingredients, great flavor, and it comes with a salsa and a chili paste that ties it all together. I also got myself an English muffin sandwich for a few bucks and a Taro smoothie, both of which were super yummy. From the food to the conversation with Chris, our visit to Granite Place Cafe was an incredible success. I would recommend this place to anyone and If I ever head up the 91 to Big Bear again then I will absolutely stop back in for some food and story sharing. TLDR: Food is great, cashier is just as awesome.

The roll was really good nice and fresh but really thick . They put one slice of turkey folded in half on my sandwich . All bread and lettuce not enough of meat . All you can taste is bread . Also the chips is a 1 oz bag . Gone in 4 bites didn't even Finnish half of the sandwich . The other sandwich was the same . Funny how all the good reviews on here are a year or two ago . Nothing new only 1 review form 5 month ago . Need to put more meat ! You can see in pictures one slice of turkey .

As a new mom, these meals are perfect for me when I want something a step or two up from Chipotle since it's challenging dining in with a baby. I just order online, roll up to one of the pickup parking stalls at the Lazy Dog, and take it home or enjoy in the car hobo-style (my preferred method). They even have impressive TV dinners for $10 (or less if you buy 5 or more) that are housemade, gourmet versions of those retro Hungry Man/Banquet frozen meals of yesteryear. AND WITH BOMBA$$ DESSERTS!! That small upper right hand pocket of foil contains a unique surprise that I live for. So far the pineapple upside down cake has been my fave. But the peanut butter cup brownie is a close second. Wish one came with their butter cake. Honestly my main concern when it comes to TV dinners is what dessert is included. So it was an added bonus that the dinners themselves were higher quality than expected! Lazy Dog made a wise pivot with their brand by capturing a larger demographic of casual diners with these bowls/TV dinners. I hope other chains like Cheesecake Factory and P.F. Chang's follow suit. Keep it up, LD!

Kevin, who I believe is the manager, told me it wasn't available. I figured that was the end of it, but instead of leaving it there, he went above and beyond. He worked with what they had in the kitchen and made something as close as possible and it was honestly amazing. That one act meant so much to us. It wasn't something he had to do, especially on one of the busiest days of the year, but he took the time to make Father's Day feel special. Two in our party of 6 ordered this, one hot, one cold. Basil pesto, done right, is a fave of mine, and this one was very fresh and flavorful. Loved the roll, requested it be toasted and add a slather of mayo as well. The shredded chicken filling turned out juicy, not dry. The two of us were very impressed. The others had their own ideas. A Philly cheese steak, an Italian classic, a Beef and mushroom, a Chicken Parmesan. Minor grumbling over the two beef sandwiches, the Philly did not have enough cheese (I agreed), the Beef & Mushroom was a bit short on mushrooms. I tasted most of them and as for the Chicken Parm, I simply did not care for the marinara. Bottom line, I definitely will return for anything with pesto. Prices are very reasonable. We each chose the 8" size (medium). They were quite filling, with most of our party bringing one half home. The fries were amazing, a big hit as well. Both kinds, regular shoestring style and thicker beer battered with some skin, were seasoned nicely and deliciously fresh. If I had to choose, the beer batter style was the better. Carbonated drinks are serve-yourself, so yes, refills. There are a respectable number of tables and booths for seating inside, but none outside. After all these years, glad I tried them.
