    8. Breakfast Burrito - Bacon
    Nella B.

I finally stopped by for breakfast this morning, I work nearby and drive past this place almost every day. Location - plenty of parking, easy to spot off Sampson Ambiance - clean, quiet, employees were friendly Service - not too bad, i was in and out under 10 mins. definitely will call in my order next time. Food - ordered a bacon breakfast burrito and an avocado burrito. They were about 6 inches, but the flavor was good! The eggs were nice and fluffy, bacon could have been cooked a little longer - but everyone prefers their bacon differently. I'd come back.

Small deli we were excited to try out because it is close to home. It was a little warm inside, but it had a cool classic little deli feel to it. The service was great and attentive. We had our two babies with us so it took us some time to order and the employee was super patient with us. We got the western burrito with avocado added and a sausage egg and cheese English muffin sandwich. The sandwich was perfect with melty cheese and crunch on the muffin. The burrito tasted great and the egg was nice and soft, but the bacon didn't have any crunch to it and the potatoes seemed a little underdone. That being said it all tasted great and the price was a deal. We will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu!

Tiny avocado breakfast burrito. Very bland.

I ordered an avocado breakfast burrito with added bacon on Grub Hub. It seemed like it took a long time for it to be made. The Grub Hub driver dropped off my burrito and I realized it was cold. It was not warm at all. I put it in the microwave and opened it to discover it was small. My hand is actually bigger than the burrito. I took a bite and it was tasteless and bland. I added salsa...still bland. Salt and pepper...still bland. I got some hot sauce...now it tasted like hot sauce with no other flavor. I will never order a breakfast burrito from this place again. I ordered a salad for lunch and will update once I eat that. Meh.

The 50. Western Burrito -- so very delicious and probably the most well priced breakfast burrito I've ever purchased

(Visited 12/15/22) Me and a couple of chums were taking the 91 freeway from Torrance to Big Bear for the weekend to go winter camping for the first time. We were looking to fuel up with a tasty breakfast before we endured a weekend of sub 30° activities and we got hungry passing through Corona. We looked up "food" on Apple Maps as one does and Granite Place Cafe shows up with rave reviews and breakfast burritos. Perfect. We drive up and are surprised to see this odd little corner store built into the same warehouse as like 2 or 3 car mechanics, but that wasn't gonna stop us from getting a taste of those burritos. We walked in and met Chris, a super inviting breath of fresh air standing behind the register. We exchange hellos and order our food (Western Burritos all around) before taking our seat. We start chatting with Chris and before we know it we're exchanging campsites, views, and stories about our times in the wilderness. He's excited to hear what we're attempting and he hooks us up with some great instant spicy ramen that kept us nice and toasty in the snow. By this time our burritos are ready--and they are excellent. Perfect ratio of all ingredients, great flavor, and it comes with a salsa and a chili paste that ties it all together. I also got myself an English muffin sandwich for a few bucks and a Taro smoothie, both of which were super yummy. From the food to the conversation with Chris, our visit to Granite Place Cafe was an incredible success. I would recommend this place to anyone and If I ever head up the 91 to Big Bear again then I will absolutely stop back in for some food and story sharing. TLDR: Food is great, cashier is just as awesome.

The roll was really good nice and fresh but really thick . They put one slice of turkey folded in half on my sandwich . All bread and lettuce not enough of meat . All you can taste is bread . Also the chips is a 1 oz bag . Gone in 4 bites didn't even Finnish half of the sandwich . The other sandwich was the same . Funny how all the good reviews on here are a year or two ago . Nothing new only 1 review form 5 month ago . Need to put more meat ! You can see in pictures one slice of turkey .

Try our #11. Godfather sub. This is the most popular sandwich. Sssssssoooooo delicious!

Inside...nothing fancy but in a strange way, comforting.

Granite place café is literally a mom and pop restaurant, the pop is the primary order taker and the mom is the cook. It's small and charming that serves a limited breakfast and lunch menu composed of sandwiches as well as eggs complimented with a variety of sides dishes Granite Place Cafe is located in an industrial area and it was clear to me that those, who work in the area, are their primary clients. The owner, who took my order, was also friendly and congenial. During my visit I noticed a steady stream of people who bantered and joked with both owners. Clearly, they are invested in this "community". I ordered scrambled egg, sausage, hash browns toast and coffee ($3.75). The food wasn't particularly remarkable but filling and delicious. Overall, a good experience, those who work nearby could do worse and have to travel quite far.

I just order online, roll up to one of the pickup parking stalls at the Lazy Dog, and take it home or enjoy in the car hobo-style (my preferred method). They even have impressive TV dinners for $10 (or less if you buy 5 or more) that are housemade, gourmet versions of those retro Hungry Man/Banquet frozen meals of yesteryear. But the peanut butter cup brownie is a close second. Wish one came with their butter cake. Honestly my main concern when it comes to TV dinners is what dessert is included. So it was an added bonus that the dinners themselves were higher quality than expected! Lazy Dog made a wise pivot with their brand by capturing a larger demographic of casual diners with these bowls/TV dinners. I hope other chains like Cheesecake Factory and P.F. Chang's follow suit. There really wasn't anything wrong with the pot pie, it just didn't taste as good as I had hoped, so I didn't eat much of it. Our waitress noticed I didn't eat much of the pot pie and asked me if there was anything wrong. I told her that in my opinion, it didn't have much flavor and that I didn't care for it. She was apologetic and said I should of told her sooner and she would of brought something else for me. I said, it really wasn't a big deal, that I'm sure other people enjoy the chicken pot pie. Next thing I know, the manager Clark comes over and tells me he wants to take the pot pie off my bill. I told him that it wasn't necessary, that I did eat some of it and I should pay for it. He insisted to take the pot pie off my bill. Said he wanted his customers to be happy. He then asked if my friend and I wanted to share a dessert and showed us the options. We chose the S'mores brownie. We didn't want a full size, so he offered a smaller option. The dessert came and it was very large to be a small serving. And let me tell you, it was absolutely beyond delicious! My friend and I were so impressed with the generosity of Clark the manager and how he went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. That is what I call great customer service and a manager that really cares about making sure his customers are happy when they leave. Even though I'm not a fan of the Pot Pie, I know that their food is still amazing. I will be coming back again and again.

Came here with friends during lunch hour & got some items from the "lunch deals" section. For the lunch deals, we got the 2 chicken tacos, which comes with chips & salsa. There was a decent amount of chips and salsa and the tacos were a good size & had good flavors. 8/10 for the chicken tacos. My friend got the traditional wings (6 piece) lunch deal which comes with a side of fries & celery. The sizes of the wings look decent & she enjoyed the meal. Our party also got the steak tacos & steak nachos. This time, there was a decent amount of steak on the nachos and it paired perfectly with everything. The first time we came here and we got the nachos during our last visit, there was barely any steak on the nachos so I'm glad they corrected it and making it better. 8/10 for the nachos. Drinks: my group mainly got beer so they were all good & happy with it. I wanted a margarita flight and well, that was pretty disappointing. It was supposed to be 4 different flavors/drinks with tequila. But where was the tequila? I felt that they should've been upfront with it on the menu and called it a mocktail or something because when we didn't taste any tequila in it, we asked the waitress & she mentioned to us that there is only 1 shot of tequila for the whole flight...like what?! That flight cost $20 so you're telling me I'm basically buying $20 worth of juice since the tequila is non-existent?! That was truly disappointing to hear & even the waitress said she would never recommend the flight because of it and it wasn't fun to make. So do better Brass Tap, either add more tequila to your flight to make it actually worth $20 or just remove it all together from your menu. Deceiving & a total waste. 0/10 for the flight. Thankfully the waitress removed it from our bill without issue & got me the watermelon margarita to replace it. Much better and you can taste some tequila in it (not much but a lot more than what was sprinkled onto the flight). 6/10 for the watermelon drink. Overall the service is decent and the space is decent for small groups. There's seating at the bar area and tables inside and outside. Decor was typical for these type of place. Plenty of parking as well. Will I be back? Maybe if drinks are better.
