It really brought out my natural texture and I got some full curls after that I didn't even know were possible! I booked an appointment with Susie for 2pm. At 1 and hour before the appointment I get a message asking to reschedule to next week because she is running behind. Of course this isn't their fault but the weeks after my appointment were extremely busy which is why I made the appointment for the specific day and time because it worked out perfectly. After I was messaged asking to reschedule I was confused whether if I should still show up or not because I had not received any messages back after being told they would look for someone else to do my hair Since I didn't know what to do I drove all the way to the Salon still confused whether im getting the appointment I booked. When I arrived Susie (the stylist I booked with) asked for my name and had told me she was looking to see if anyone else could do my hair. after about 5-10 minutes of waiting she came back only to see if I could meet with different stylists who were way out of my price range then tried to fit me in later in the same day about 3 hours later after I ALREADY drove all the way there. For me to book an appointment and show up in time then be told i'd have to move it to another day for a higher price for something that's not on my behalf is absolutely ridiculous. It seems like they do not prioritize new clients which just feels extremely unwelcoming and disrespectful as potential clients While I did extremely appreciate the effort to try and fit me in I just felt like and inconvenience to the stylists and that there might be tension if I had booked at a different throughout the entire situation which NOT how I want to feel as a new client. I constantly have very bad experiences with salons and as someone who is very inexperienced in the world of salons this was pretty much a "worst nightmare" moment for me and I had a lot of hope this would be different but it's extremely disappointing that it wasn't especially since reading other reviews it seems like everyone there is extremely skilled and awesome. Of course I don't mean any disrespect to ANY of the stylists there I know you are all amazing I just wish time management skills were worked on better by Susie so this doesn't happen to other new clients who are already uneasy and unsure about going to salons like I am. read more

Sad to write this review, it's really unfortunate. My 14 year old daughter came in asking for curtain wispy bangs and lots of pretty layers right before school started- and got a chopped up looking shag cut. She asked for her hair to be washed, and they didn't do it. She asked for a latte and cookies, and never got them. Why have us fill out a form beforehand of what she wanted when they don't offer those things to clients? 14 and just starting high school is a really important time for kids to feel good about themselves- so to pay $80 for her hair cut and not get the cut or services we asked for was a huge bummer. I got my hair done in February 2026 and unfortunately I didn't receive the result I asked for. I specifically asked for black on top with blonde peekaboo pieces and some baby pink highlights at the bottom. Instead, my blonde ended up looking gray, and instead of baby pink dye being used, a toner was put in my hair that made the pink look more peach than anything. After just one wash and about four days later, the color had already faded significantly. What I was left with looked like black on top with gray tones and some orange around my ears, and the pink was barely noticeable. As a mom of three, I don't get to do things for myself very often, and getting my hair done is something I save for because it's not cheap. I was really looking forward to loving the result, so I'm disappointed to say the least that it didn't come out anything like what I asked for and didn't last. Got chopped. I seen this spot on tiktok and decided to try it out. The spot itself wasn't too bad everyone seemed pretty cool just the stylist that i booked was the most affordable. $50/hr. They greeted me and was nice but quiet and reserved which i dont mind. First they asked me about the reference pictures and how i wanted my hair i talked about how i wanted it in layers, in a v-shape, and face framing. They gave me full on bangs :( i think they will grow out fine but i didnt want bangs. They ended up taking around 2 hrs which is fine but then they said they ran out of time and couldnt finish styling/blow drying it :/ they seemed new/beginner which i understand for the price. They also were sort of unsure and not confident in their work. I dont know might how been user error on my part in not booking a person that sort of specializes in that haircut. This was my first time getting my hair dyed and I wanted a dark blue. I got it bleached, toned and dyed. Took 7 hours and paid $300-400. My hair was so patchy. Before I left, he recommended me to come in for a retouch because obviously my hair was not the same color. I scheduled another appointment at the same time a week later with the same stylist. Took 2 and 1/2 hours, paying another $120, just for it to still be patchy. My fronts were still teal while the back of my hair was dark blue. Please research who you guys want before you book. It's was my fault that I didn't pick who I wanted and went with whoever they gave me. But paying ~$500 for it to not even be one color was a waste. I just don't understand how this is a salon full of colorful, queer & (presumably) neurodivergent people, but the vibes are just not it! I didn't find anyone to be very friendly or welcoming at all. As a colorful queer neurodivergent myself, I was expecting more, and especially since my VERY basic cut was $105! When booking the appointment, they have a series of questions about your preferences ahead of the appt, I filled out every one of them even down to what drink I wanted. I didn't receive a single one of those things, not even an offer for any of them. Most importantly, for $105 for a short cut (trim) I absolutely expect a *full* proper hair wash & condition, a cut that isn't crooked & cute styling, unfortunately none of that happened. What's the point of a pre appt questionnaire if the stylist doesn't look at it or doesn't care?! Also for a $105, how is shampoo/conditioner and scalp massage not automatically included?? This is my second time here, the first time was when they were just opening about 5ish years ago, I got the worst haircut I've ever had and had to shave my head bc of it, but I want to give my money to local queer businesses, and they have great reviews now so I tried again, this time with different stylist, and my cut isn't horrible, just a bit crooked in some spots, but overall its fine. My biggest issue isn't the cut, it's the unfriendly overall vibe, the lack of a shampoo/cond & scalp massage, like that's part of why so many people even get their hair done in the first place! I had my hair appointment yesterday, 4/1 by Elisa. I want to start out by saying they were so nice and from pictures online very talented, and the salon itself has a very nice vibe, I however did not have a great haircutting experience. I chose Elisa because on the website it is stated that they specialize in curly cuts which is what I needed. I had recently had an unfortunate haircut, just bangs, that needed to be evened out and wanted some face framing layers and layers for a curly cut. I had shoulder length hair and told them I wanted to keep the length. Showed them some pictures which I will add on to this. At no point did they communicate how short these layers were going to be but I feel as if 75% of my hair is gone and it feels totally botched and uneven. When they were washing my hair they were talking to another stylist about how difficult they found it to do curly cuts on short hair, which really made me nervous as I have short curly hair and getting a curly cut. After the cut I didn't say anything at the salon because honestly I was shocked, uncomfortable and felt like maybe it could be fixed with a different style at home. Got home tried to make the best of it, washed it, styled it my way and still it looked horrible. Then I straightened it and that's when I saw how choppy the layers were. I messaged the salon to let them know and I was told that the owner won't be in until next week, understandable. However I don't know what could even fix this as I have genuinely never felt so horrible about the way my hair is making me look. I don't really feel comfortable going back to try to fix it and honestly just want my money back. This has put such a huge decline on my self confidence as I cannot even hide how bad my hair looks by putting it up because all the short layers on the top of my head come out of any updo read more
